souljaboi51: hi there, great job u doin.What is ur processor type, and speed I want to assume your complain bothers on the Boot time if ur equipment. If so, start ur system in Safe mode by pressing F8 while it is starting, if it does not lag, then the problem is from some applications loading with the OS during start up. Restart the system to normal mode. Hold ur windows logo key + R, on the run dialog box, type msconfig and press enter. Locate the "startup" tab, at the bottom, u will see a disable all check box, click on it, then ok and restart the system. Uninstall all unwanted programs and try to defragment ur hard disk. Let us know if this solves the problem. |

fabolakers: Need Help with Display Problem in my Laptop (HP G60-230US)It is not the CMOS battery, neither is the back up battery, probably your laptop screen, or the flex, if you have a VGA cable, u can connect to an external monitor to see if it displays there. Secondly check your memory stick. But with this vvv when I on it sometimes for the first time, it will jus show the power light and off immediately and at times it will just be blinkingU may be better off taking it to a technician, might be something more serious. |

Each time a fight breaks out between a man and a woman , the voice of the woman is always heard louder. wife are not left out in this top of the voice drama. Sometimes they even go to the extent of dragging the cloth of men.That is their defence mechanism  Besides I do not think that domestic disputes that leads to raising of voice can be termed as disgracing your husband or wife. Women shout to be heard, Men shout to intimidate, all na unnecessary NOISE. The quiet ones are the most deadly. On the other hand, I think the ratio of who disgraces who, is higher with men. You never see where wife dey come reclaim her husband inside gutter after the man don drink finish, or the husband who should be protecting his wife, is beaten to stupor by her neighbours husband, all na disgrace to the woman nah 1 Like |

madtom85: Hey, this is a thread for those that loathe scams and fraud pathetically, nobody deserves to be humiliated on his/her possession; so, we need to fight against any form of scam. Frankly speaking, I didn't feel the need for this movement until I became victimized from a scam. Let people briefly cite their experience with scam, this can help another individual. And all you scammers especially internet 'yahoo' fraudsters, karma is a b****.Seriously it baffles and annoys the hell out of me how some people will choose to reaping off peoples' hard earned money as a means of livelihood, it is annoying, very annoying. And majority of people doing this are teenagers who one can easily fold their hands behind there backs and give them a beating of their live. Their campaign against retirees, both Fed and State alike, to rip them off their entitlements, an entitlement that government is yet to complete or have not even paid at all, I mean it's sickening  Their "format" now is to obtain the details of some of these retirees who are yet to receive their benefits, then one stoopid fhoolish Baga! Claiming to work in the civil service, will call up these senior citizens, telling them, that their file is on his table and their money, at times very few thousands, will not be paid unless he is settled, now these retirees, enthusiastic that their money will paid, and thinking that it is the "normal" decay in the civil service, will eagerly go and pay the "roger" into the account given to him / her, not knowing that they've been scammed, at times these retirees, go to the extent of borrowing so as to meet the deadline given to them by these scammers. I mean how low can one get. They campaign against these social misfits should be taken seriously by well meaning Nigerians. There is one WAEC guy running amok now on NL, posts like that should be hidden immediately. 1 Like |

DrHesjay: thanks..There are lots of recovery software out there, but if you can lay your hands on File scavenger it will do you a whole lot of good, it is lite, less complicated and does the job well. |

DrHesjay: Good day house...The partition table is faulty. You can use a file recovery software to get back your files if you r still interested in them, otherwise delete the partition and format, should get your hard disk working again. And check that external casing. |
