I love this
But how does one go about getting a tier 2 work visa(sponsorship) if one is doing a blue collar job?.
Ideas will be highly appreciated.

deept:

I hired a guy to come plaster a section of a wall earlier this month, paid over £200 for less than a 2 hour job. Speaking to him, he said this was his if i can remember correctly his 10th job for the year. He used to drive a Porsche which he sold recently even at a price higher than what he paid for it. My mouth dropped at some of the stories he told us about how much he has made over the years and believe me lots of is that do white collar jobs don't earn that kind of money and they collect cash so don't pay HMRC anything.

Paid one to do the kitchen, minus the cost of the appliances and cabinets i calculated £4000 as his take home for about a 10 day job and he worked at his own pace. How many of us earn that?

When you start, you might have to build credibility and experience, but when you get that, the sky is the limit to what you want to earn and how you want to work.

All the people that ask what certification they need to do to get a job in the UK, of you are still in Nigeria, go and attach yourself to that Baba painter and Bana plumber and Baba carpenter even barber to learn the trade, come here fine tune the skills get whatever CSCS card or certification you need and with God on your side, there are no limits.

Get a letter from your former university stating you were taught in English language.
You can get an English proficiency letter from your university or from your Employer

Good day
I read through the thread and it’s very insightful. Thank you all for your contributions... please I have some questions and I am very open to your opinions before I begin the uk study process...

I have a biological sister and her family living and working in the UK since 2016.
Currently another of my sibling got admission to study in the Uk and he will be going with his wife as his dependent (they have submitted their visa application) my question is this;

I’m thinking of going for a degree in the Uk though I’ve got plans for Canada but the border restriction is frustrating.....

1) considering that I have 2 siblings in the Uk, if I apply for a study visa, my spouse will be accompanying me (the same thing my sibling is doing) Do you think it would raise a red flag for the visa officer? Won’t there be issues like insufficient ties to home country?

2) I’ve had 1 Uk visa denial on basis of insufficient funds. Will it pose as a problem?

Thank you very much, anticipating your response
My people from canny una welcome oo
We plenty here .
UK doesn't have issues with you not having home tie oo.Also just declare all visa denial don't lie or hide anything shikena.

Thank you
We are actually considering who should apply first to give us an edge
Hubby is going for LLM
My thinking is that with my ACCA certificate, i can get a decent job working full time while he studies.
That way, we'd be able to make some money to support his schooling and our living expenses.
If I come first, I don't know what chances he has at getting a job with a law degree.
He may end up doing minimum wage job and that may not be able to support both of us
I think you have an added advantage at getting a job since its ACCA you have not ICAN. Research on how you can work with ACCA in the OK

I willingly brought it out. He screamed and removed his hand he jejely took his pap. And since den. Once he wants to suck I just open 4 him. Lol no boby tell am na. I'm reading this post in 2021 and I am finding it really helpful. I am sharing my experience as well to assist someone else in future. Trying to wean my 1y8months daughter .Reducing breastfeeding isn't working because we are always together once she gets home from creche. So first day I rubbed with Aloe vera its edible by the way .Omo madam just suckled on as if nothing dey .Next I rubbed bitter leaf she was just licking and suckling at the same time .The shock brought me online then I saw the comment on nairaland where someone commented she used plaster .I didn't have plaster so i used big celotape .Let's just say that has been doing the magic .Today is day 2 and we are going strong. She had bread with tea during the night and 2 sweets . With plenty of water .So my advice
1. Make up your mind
2.Have loads of orishirishi snacks
3.There mouths has to be occupied always
4. Have plenty spare time .There is public holiday/weekend so perfect timing so i can sleep when she sleeps and be awake when she's awake .
Hope this helps someone in the nearest future xoxo.

Your Pgde will not give you a positive assessment with AITSL. BSc in Education is compulsory.
Your spouse can also not assess as a Tax Accountant because Australian tax is different from Nigerian tax, however if he can tweak his documents for General Accountant/Management Accountant/Management consultant; that may work.

Does he work in any of the big 4s?
what month is his 45 birthday?

How can he go about tweaking his documents towards General Account or Management consultant because he doesn't have ICAN or ACCA

With the big 4s (KPMG, EY, Deloitte and PwC), he *may* be able to apply for an international redeployment.

He also told me about the big 4's .He works with Alpha beta consulting llp though.

Hello everyone! Today is my first day of posting on Nairaland but the forum has always been my go-to info site since I started researching study and migration abroad. For years, I've read true life stories of success, courage, faith but above all, I've silently followed the suggestions, advice, encouragements...of well-meaning "strangers" practically propelled people to success on this forum.

You guys are amazing cool cool

So now, I have come with my own isH(£

sueD. I'll try and be brief

My family (husband, me and our 4 year old son) has decided to migrate to Australia but we don't really know what our chances at PR are. So, please help us out with clarity

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

I am 34 years old
I studied B.A Education English(2011)
I have been teaching English Language Phonetics at a private secondary school, but as an auxiliary staff, since 2013 till date.

My husband is 36 years old
He studied BSc Economics/Political Science(2007) and Master of Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice (2014)
He has been working with the Rescue and Disaster Management department of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) since 2010 till date.

I don't have any tax documents or salary bank statements due to the nature of my employment

Please I'll like to know who, between my husband and I, would be able to get more points and also which Visa options are better, given our circumstances.

I already have an IELTS score of 6.5 (Competent English) but I plan on writing another IELTS and assessing our credentials this October, so that we can join the first set applying for the new 491 Regional Skilled Work Visa.
Please reply

God bless you all

The RNIP is very similar to AIPP the koko is getting a job which may be difficult but very possible God willing .Nothing comes easy sincerely let's be prepared to put our all to achieve our goals .Someone on the AIPP thread who has gotten a job offer said she sent CV with cover letter to 5 employers daily for a while before she got the offer .So with persistence it will surely end in praise for us all .

Eraytee:
geosciences job is scarce to see via AIPP, those of you with social sciences experience are more at advantage when it comes to jobs in-demand. we suffer this deficiency up to PNP from other provinces. geologist in the house would understand better. we are so limited to options.

Studied economics and I'm not finding it easy as well, my job experience isn't any where around economics. I have a post graduate in education and used to teach in a primary school
But we keep hope alive.
