eleojo23: This is a potential source of problems. Truth be said, men in such situations tend to feel threatened and resentful towards their wives and this arises from their ego. It is due to the traditional belief that men ought to earn more. Some men can get so resentful/jealous that they begin to find fault in everything their wives do. If a man cannot stand the fact that his wife is earning more, then he should stand up and do something to increase his own earnings. But then, that is the competitive spirit at work and it won't be good for the marriage in the long run. One thing that must be understood is the fact that marriage is not a competition. It is a partnership. If one partner earns more, it should be seen as to the advantage of both. The man should appreciate his wife and the wife should maintain her respect for him. The fact that he earns less doesn't make him less of a man. His earnings could increase and surpass hers in the future.

the reason is very simple. your awareness has not expanded enough to hold the dream memories in your conscious mind. singing the HU before you sleep and asking God to help you remember your dreams before you go to bed can help. once you wake do not just jump up from the bed. take some time to go into a quiet contemplation and sing HU softly, your dream memories will start coming back to your awareness and in that contemplation you can ask for their meaning. then form the habit of writing your dreams down in a dream journal. these practices will enable you to start remembering your dreams

singing the HU consistently over time, cleans the dirt that has accumulated in the mind and spiritual eye allowing the light and sound of God to flood your being turning you into a new loving being. how long it will take depends on the amount of love and discipline you exhibit in singing the HU. even this new problem that has come up in you will be taken care of. as you sing the HU, do not focus on the failings and shortcomings in your life but rather focus on who and what you really are ,which is Soul created in the image and likeness of God with all the qualities of God just waiting for the right conditions to germinate and grow.

kudjei: The funny thing is that most people see Amorc to be similar to Eckanker. Thats not true. If u study da teachings of Eck really well u will realise that its absolutely different from Amorc. Rosecrucians practice Astral projection and Eckist practice Soul travel. If any rosecrucian has doubt he should just try singing da HU. everyone so it does not have to travel. Its the awareness that changes. Even this confuses newer members with soul travel its possible to go to a different dimention and spend what might seem like days whereas in actual fact u have not spent more than a micro second in our physical time. People should take advantage of thos forum to try new things for themselves. There are many eckist who in search of truth went through several paths to become Eckist.if u want to argue u will surelly have something wrong to say about it. its I think its up to da individual. The reason why I'm coming out this way is that there are people who come here and are interested in Eckankar but are scared it could be something else. I had da same problem when i was converting from Christianity to Eckankar. One of the things that made me interested in Eckankar is soul travel. Some people think u can go and spy on naked people and things like that. In Eckankar u always have the Mahanta with u and it cannot happen like that. If u want to go somewhere the Inner master will check to to see if its ok before u can go. Its been said in Christianity that by their fruits u shall know. If i want to tell u guys da experiences in Eck some of u might run away. too fantastic to be true. forget healing and stuff like that. Those are common things. They are like infants compared to what I have seen and heard in Eckankar. If anyone is interested in Eckankar he can let me know and I will help him overcome his fears by sharing loads of experiences with him. In Eck its all about Love. My Dad is a rosecrucian but cannot practice it in da house since he needs too many things for his experiments. He has started singing Hu with me since it can besang anywhere. Eckankar can help u do well in ur exams not by soul traveling to spy on da papers buy by understanding what u study. u can never do that in Eckankar. and if u try soo hard u may even stop having experiences for sometime.
