dmariowizzy:With documentation you can hustle anywhere. Without documentation you are always looking at your back. Is that what you want? |
dmariowizzy:To answer your question. Yes I have and I am in one of the countries |
Legal or illegal hustle. There is nothing like hustle in these two places without proper documentation. Take note of that |
You didnt say which african country you are from but it all depends on the kinda friends you are trying to make. if you are th religious type, google african churches in your area, african restaurants and also african stores. you can start from there but be careful the type of friends you make. This is America and everyone for himself. |
As much as i would not say it is impossible to get, i would say the chances of you getting an H1 visa from Nigeria is like the proverbial Camel passing through the eye of a needle. Companies here in America put it boldly on their career page that they dont offer sponsorship to get H1 visa or simply put they say "Would you at anytime during the process of this application require sponsorship for H1 visa" if your answer is Yes i guess they just send your CV to recycle bin. I was reasearching for a friend who is planning to move his family here from the UK, even with his Phd in Computer engineering with specialty in Operations research, he was still turned down but i believe he still has a slim chance, we just have to persevere. Anyways, check out websites of companies and apply to them, if you have what they need and thye cant get here which i doubt, they will consider you, its always a case of demand meeting supply. |

What's going on peeps. Please Nigerians living in Dallas Texas, where is the best part to move to in Dallas. I'm presently living in Indianapolis and in the process of moving to Dallas. I'm talking about proximity to basic essentials and a place with low crime rate. Thank you |
Ha...my first day here was when I just landed as a jjc in Atlanta airport. I was just looking around cos the airport was so big. I got lost cos I went to another gate instead of the one to take me to my final destination chicago. I finally got my gate and when I landed in Chicago it was very chilly and I was shivering like a fowl. That night was d birthday of a Nigerian girl so I went to the all night party with my guy and even me know that I smell Nigeria at the party but it was nice hanging out with Nigerians in America. I woke up the ff day to a very silent neighborhood different from the generator noise I was used to in lagos and cos my friend turned off the light in the house I thought nepa struck before I realised where I was *smh* My first time in walmart was later in the day when I went to buy phone and seeing the roads and the buildings just made me have goose bumps. I will never forget when we went to the club on Friday night and I drank 15 bottles of bud light lol...as omo naija we dey drink 5 to 8 bottles of stout for Nigeria. The bud light just be like water. Lol Have a lot to write but I got to get back to work...will write more later |
OkparaJesus:What makes something a human right? Polygamy is a tradition not a human right. Human right is a right that belongs justify ably to every person. I'm happy you mentioned human right because being gay is human right in his own stead. |
EbolaParasite:We talking about same sex marriage you talking about someone liking killing for fun. How does that relate to each other. When has being gay become a crime that you compare it to having sex with kids which is clearly a crime anywhere in the world. I think you need to remove the cover of ignorance from your face and make reasonable comparison. Thank you |
Nigeria and Nigerians still need a lot of learning to do when it comes to sexual orientation. The first time I went to a fat club with my lesBian friends, I was skeptical as to what to see there but when I got there I noticed it was just a bunch of people who have a different sexual preference from mine and does that make them criminals NO. As a man I can't imagine another man doing me or me doing another man but if someone else decide that's what they want then let them be. I see gay people everyday on the streets of Chicago and they don't affect my paycheck so why bother about them. A better illustration is this. If you go to McDonalds and on a queue, the person in front of you ordered Chicken Nuggets but you don't eat chicken nuggets. Would you hate that person for buying something you don't eat? It's just preference. Live and let live. Am I saying same sex should be legalized in Nigeria? The answer is NO because our level of sexual orientation is Zero. |
It takes 10 to 12 years unfortunately... that's how long it takes for their application number to be current. If you still have parents, file for them then they can file for your brother. Hope this helps |

This is exactly how it looks like @prospects |
I'm asking the same question too...where is the original poster of this thread. I find this thread so educating and very informative. |
A friend that just filed for his green card here had the same dilema and he got his NPC birth certificate from lagos. ...Shomolu local government to be precise and it cost him only #1000.....Dont worry you will get it. Just ask around |
Krak: More than that.. In Bavaria alone, their are more than 550 registered breweryWell according to what I heard please dont quote me or abuse me. ...During world war 2 toxic chemicals from the numerous bombs went so deep in the ground and affected their water bed so it was difficult for them to get clean water for consumption that led to them using the water to brew beer instead of consuming it directly. |
Babymama1: Good for youBabymama God bless you real good cos I always benefit so much from your threads. As a Nigerian living in America I don't really like mixing with Nigerians cos I believe we gossip a lot and tend to do competition as regards who is making it more than who....I haven't stayed long in America but ive seen a lot and Nigerians here have done a lot of bad to me.....Well I hope one day I will write my memoir about my American experience and share my testimony cos what takes others 10years to achieve in America I did in 7months all thanks to God. Don't let me bore you with stories but I hope to meet you one day soon as I should be starting my masters in Texas next year when I come back from the army. Keep up the good work maam and God bless you and your family. |
Gravitonv20: This is a great question. I also want to also know if the GTB Naira MasterCard is usable in the US.Yes it is usable. ...I have one that I use all the time...you only have to pay some charges which is just like $3. |
Baby mama: HotelLol..... |
I love this thread and I'm compelled to comment and share my experience....When i newly got to America, after just 3days i was introduced to a Nigerian girl who is a nurse here and apparently her sis in law who just came from Nigeria pittied her situation and decided to go husband hunting for her cos she was 29 at that time and i was 29 too.....We started talking on a very nice note and in 2days we were chatting like we have known for ages and already planning on how we wil meet cos she stays in another state....but along the line something changed and she will always find fault in anything i say and tell me I'm thinking and talking like a Nigerian and my attitude stinks.....something my girlfriend in Nigerian back then can never say...don't let me bore you with stories but all i can say is we didn't get along and she is so mannerless and this changed my orientation about Nigerian girls here and i can never marry any. My new gf is American and she treat me with respect |
