The man's neighbor who is an Hausa, His father's name is Alhaji Buhari and he was the same person who reported the case. So I think with this facts I have labeled you should see reasons why the defendant is guilty and ignorant

Get a paint and write BUHARI on the right and left side of the dog and walk around it in an Hausa setting. Most Hausa's with minial jobs are not so educated. What do you think will happen??. Just read it and it's states that "don't name your dog after any sitting president, because he is the only one in this world with that name". Buhari can as well start putting on military uniform, because this is not normal in any democratic setting.

3. Which dog in your area have you seen that has its name inscribed bodly on both sides of the body. Answer is None.

Now why will a grown man who lives in an Hausa neighbourhood or settings. Knowing fully well that no owner of dogs inscribe their name bodly on the dogs. No one does that. Now if he does not have an alterior motive he would not write the name on both sides of the Dog bodly and walk around. I only pity the wife and the kids and that's the only reason I am pleading for leniency on behalf of this ignoramus being who does not think before acting.

A Japanese benefactor is flying to Rio to hand $200,000 (£153,500) to the Nigerian Olympic team, in addition to his promise to pay a $30,000 (£23,000) bonus to each player if they win gold.

Japanese plastic surgeon Katsuya Takasu wants to reward the team after hearing about their financial difficulties.

He will pay them $20,000 (£15,350) for silver and $10,000 (£7,680) for bronze.

Takasu told BBC Sport the $200,000 "is a special donation" and "it is better to deliver it to the team personally".

He added: I've made previous donations to a Japanese hockey team and other notable causes in the past but this right now with Nigeria is incredibly passionate for me.

"I am deeply determined to motivate this indomitable and strong Nigerian team. I don't want to distract them but to push them further to their target - the gold in Brazil.

Igbo parents can be weird at times. imagine considering their children not being able to speak Igbo as a thing of joy or class. I also fall into the category of Igbos that grew up outside Igboland (but was born in Enugu). I understand the Igbo language atleast 90% but speaking is where the problem is. Most times i know what to say, it's just that it does not come out right or i'll have to think of what to say especially when i want to construct a sentence and no one has time to wait for me while i think. I'm confident that if i spend atleast 6 months to a year in Enugu, Owerri, Onitsha or any major Igbo town, i'll become an expert of some sort.
