Once you have been hurt so many times in relationships by people who swore and promised never to hurt you and to leave you at any one moment, your heart gets scared to get attached to anyone again. It becomes so hard for you to trust and love again, it can take you ages to believe in anyone who tells you how they love you and how they wanna spend the rest of their life with you, you can become so vulnerable, you can hate love and a certain category of people, you can even say and think love does not exist in this world and you can wish to stay single for the rest for your life because of that trauma in you. But putting aside all those bad past experiences, emotional pain, torture, stress, worries, fear, and thoughts, the fact remains true love exists in this world. God gave it to us as a free natural gift. It’s within us and the societies we live in but it’s just very hard to find. Sometimes we ignore and we friend zone the people who are supposed to be the love of our lives because of the fear of getting hurt again. And it’s so absurd that there no special or new words those people can use to convince us that they are different from the ones that hurt us. They use the same words. If we still need love in our lives we have to be very keen and so observant. We have to learn to risk our hearts again because if we don’t we won’t get the happiness and love we want in our lives. Everything is all about trying and in that trying it’s were we can find a right thing or person for us. So, keep believing and hoping to love again, keep thinking of getting married and having a happy family and home. It’s possible for everyone. God has a plan for each one of us. But sometimes things don’t happen at the moment we want them because it’s never the right time. And that doesn’t mean they won’t happen, they will and we shall all be happy, we shall feel loved and cared for again. Just keep believing and stay in faith. Do things that make you happy, associate with friends that encourage and motivate you, eat well, be healthy, do developmental things that take you to another level and trust me your time will come soon. No need to rush.

THE YOUTH, DRUG AND SEX Tramadol and codeine are easily abused by the youth, their argument is that it gives them strength and agility, it boost there moral and makes them last long on bed but all are ephemeral. What about the effect on their adrenaline, hypothalamus of the brain, kidney and liver organs for neutralization and other metabolism? What about the heart organ with heavy work load, the muscle overstretched, and the brain over loaded. Sorry, the whole system is bound to collapse. That is that for Tramadol and codeine. Not everyone know about Spanish gold fly, it is a drug which send a pseudo information to the brain and the brain triggers the libido and the urge for sex is at excessive increase, and that makes the lady to loose conscious and demand for sex. You won't believe it that it is tasteless, odourless and take the colour of the solvent agent used for it application that is if added in coke, you won't detect it but the body will. Too bad because what ever is used to stimulate the body excessively is dangerous. Boys used it on females and sex is gotten cheapish Aspartame is a Sweetening added to beverages which is as a substitute for sugar, it is ideal for diabetic patient but it is 200times sweeter than sugar, sorry it is dangerous to those who are not diabetic but ignorantly consumed it and the pancreas is at risk, aspartame in zero coke and coke have the inscription on the bottle that it is dangerous. Let me stop here!!! Yours faithful #CUD#

Several times I have had to painfully listen to some people talk as though we had no moral values in Igbo land or Africa in general until the Bible came to instil some morals in us. As an unapologetic Igbo son. I wish to shade a brief light on this. 1) Before the European missionaries came to Igbo land to tell us about John 8:32 “Thou shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free” My Igbo ancestors had already told us “Eziokwu Bù Ndù” which means “Truth is Life” they equate the value of truth with the value of life. It couldn’t get more important than that. 2) Before the European missionaries came to tell us in Igbo land about Mark 12:31 “ Love your neighbour as yourself” My Igbo ancestors already told us “Onye Agbata Obi Madu wù Nwanne ya” meaning your neighbour is your family. Your neighbour in traditional Igbo setting should be extended same family love as you exercise to your family. 3) Before the European missionaries came to Igbo land to tell us about 1 Timothy 6:10 “The love of money is the root of all evil” My Igbo ancestors already told us “Ndu Ka Aku”, “Onye Nwere Madu Ka Onye Nwere Ego” and Ezi Aha Ka Ego” meaning, Life is more precious than riches and he who has people is wealthier than one who’s financially rich. And Dignity and Honour are better than money/wealth. They placed more value in humanity over wealth acquisition, more value in life than wealth. More value in dignity, good name, legacy and honour than the value of money and riches. 4) Before the European missionaries came to Igbo land tell us about Romans 12:18 “Do all that you can to live at peace with everyone” My Igbo ancestors already gave us the principle of “Egbe Bere Ugo Bere” “Biri Kam mbiri” and “Ndu Miri Ndu Azu” which are all principles encouraging and admonishing everyone to coexist, tolerate and live in peace. 5) But while the European missionaries came to igboland to tell us about Luke 6:29 “If one slap you in one cheek, turn the other one for him to slap” My Igbo ancestors rather gave us the principles of “Aju Okorobia wù Ibe ya” and “ Ubochi amuru dike na mba Ka amuru ibe ya” Which are principles and life philosophies encouraging one to stand up for himself and also reminding bullies to expect meeting their match and opposition. The list goes on and on. In Igbo land and Africa in general, we had very good understanding of life, with a very realistic and existential approach to life. Yes the bible contains some moral principles, but nothing new to us, we had better values and morals. The advent of the bible in Igbo land was to a large extent a distraction and obstruction, my opinion. Igbo bu Igbo Mma mma nu ooh ✊✊ #CUD# |
