Christianity EtcRe: God Made Him Gay? by martin007(m): 5:55pm On Oct 02, 2007
macalurs:
If God can stop it, and he doesn't, yes. maybe it isn't wrong, though selectively repulsive. b tw i ain't gay.
Well, you see if God cant stop it, it does not really mean it aint wrong, cos God Operates under certain conditions, there is what we all know as the "Will" of God for man, that is for man to be saved, to do the right things, but there is also the "permissive Will" of God, its like doing what he does not want you to do and knowing that its wrong, you still go ahead and do it. God is not a man, because he allows so much evil does not mean he aint a Good God.
Christianity EtcRe: God Made Him Gay? by martin007(m): 9:21pm On Sep 30, 2007
I cant help but laugh, i would just say something here, with due respect to all those "Claiming" to be Gay, there reason is that they grew up with the emotional feeling inclined to other males or so, its funny cos, does it mean just like children while we were young, most of us did steal, either meat or money from our parents, if we were caught, there were severe punishment for it and somehow somehow God helped us to stop that habit. So does it now mean that if we had grown up with such habits and turn into Armed Robbers, that would have been what God wanted us to be?
Christianity EtcRe: Church Romance by martin007(m): 9:08pm On Sep 30, 2007
I Think, just like any other socail gathering where you get to meet people, there is bound to be interactions, but i must state this that the church is more than a social gathering, our main aim is to meet with God each time we go to church. There are rules different to how the game is played in the church, if you are willing to abide to it, then its good and fine, but if you cant, better go to a club and register.
Christianity EtcOnly God Would Judge by martin007(op): 8:12pm On Sep 30, 2007
I really dont know what to say right now, am burning inside but i am going to hold my peace at least for now, its good to be objective and to say the truth when it needs to be said, When i heard about the killing of some christians in Kano this morning, i thought it was all a joke and that maybe its just a misunderstanding between some group of christians and moslems in Kano, but i later got to find out that it was because of a said cartoon published in far away Bangledash, Now here are my Questions,

What has the cartoon published in far away Bangledash got to do with the lives of Christians living in Kano? Whats the connection? Does it mean anytime someone publishes something offensive in a far away country like Bangledash, the effect is gonna be felt in Nigeria? Why is it that we have moslems in the South and in other places in Nigeria, but we never get to hear of such incidence apart from the Northern part of Nigeria? Why would churches and innocent lives be killed all in the name of a cartoon? How much is the cartoon worth compared to the lives that were killed?

The author of the said cartoon is he a christian?

I have so many questions to ask, but am gonna chill for now.

Look at the 2 cartoon's below and tell me which is more offensive. Be the Judge yourself

RomanceLord, Show Me A Sign! by martin007(op): 5:01pm On Sep 24, 2007
What are those signs and symptoms one would notice when his/her spouse is cheating on him/her, because i believe even without been told, there are some things that would change in the behaviour of that individual, But some would want to ignore those warning signals till it becomes a crisis.

Share some of the signs one should look at for in a relationship/marriage, before it comes a full Blown calamity

I think you are right Tanna, it just have to be a decision one has to make in life, just as you decide to serve God, once you get married to a man/woman, then it should be forever, but i find alot of people not thinking about the decision of marriage before they embark on it, Na rush rush.

I wish you all the best in your relationship Tanna!

Christianity EtcWhy Divorce Without Any Reason Or Whatsoever by martin007(op): 10:11pm On Sep 04, 2007
TAMPA Florida - Randy and Paula White of Without Walls International in Tampa, Fla., told their congregation during a Thursday night service that they are divorcing. They have been married for nearly 18-years.
Various news reports stated that the couple, who have both been married and divorced before, indicated the break-up decision was a mutual one.

According to a Fox News report, the Whites have recently dealt with controversy surrounding questionable business dealings. In addition, the report stated that rumors have also swirled around the couple's separate living arrangements. Paula White has a townhouse in New York; Randy White has reportedly been pursuing business opportunities on the West Coast.

A May 2007 article in The Tampa Tribune alludes to other issues surrounding the Without Walls International Church and the Whites, who in 1991 founded what would become one of the largest and fastest-growing independent churches in America.

Dis divorce no get head

FoodMan Shall Not Live By Bread Alone, But: ? by martin007(op): 4:14pm On Sep 01, 2007
I wonder how many of us on here, did eat bread this morning, for me, it was very strange cos i woke up this morning, i thought it was just like any other day, at about 7:45AM my stomach was already crying out for "Bread", so i decided i would do the normal thing i do everyday, take Tea and Bread. I got the Tea prepared and went out in search for bread, i ended up hunting for bread as if i was in "Gulder Ultimate Search" anyway, i was evicted because i could not get bread anywhere close by, What happened to my Tea then? I had to buy biscuits. What is really happening in this country? Bread again? the staple food in Nigeria, the only thing that is common for a common man and the man living in Aso Villa. What are the Association of Master Bakers and Caterers of Nigeria up to? from what i am hearing, after the strike, the price of bread may rise up to 15%. How much does a bag of flour cost? why wont the Gov't bring down the price of flour? Abeg oh, man wan chop.
