I remember our argument on a particular thread with donffd and Co. you could surely bet I was a christian(unlike what KingEbukasBlog is saying) but this christianity is getting suspicious, it has not lived up to expectations. It seems to be mental slavery with a cunning manipulation of false hope and fakes promises to deceive and control people.

if you read my earlier post, I said people can be moral if they choose to and are not weak to themselves with or without God. But I agree with you that if there is no law of the country, some christians will still practice christianity.

dear, I know that if someone chooses to be like Christ he will be moral. This is morality via decision to be like Christ but I might not be a christian and if I decide to follow the moral conduct for good reason I would still be moral.

Some atheist don't watch pornography at all like some christians that are addicted to it, why is that? If an atheist is sinful, they will say that he is not in God but if a christian is sinful they will say it is the work of the flesh or temptation.

I am a christian that is beginning to have doubts and questions about christianity? It is beginning to seem fishy. Appreciation of my reasoning has helped me.

I have started noticing seeming flaws in what God says when he speaks to me or sometimes through his 'prophets', when I try to ask God questions concerning these or sometimes in cases where answers to my questions will settle a whole lot and erase confusion, he keeps quiet. This seems to me like 'running away.'

Telling me God doesn't speak where there is doubt is like telling me gnld guys don't stay where people are aware of there pranks.

Religion, to me, doesn't have the power to make people moral. Morality is based on personal decision or some other factors and life experiences.

Why do pastors commit fornication, get addicted to pornography, or steal church money? Even Christians are guilty of such and many more.

So when someone asks "how can one be moral without God?" I tell them "how are christians immoral with God?"

Ask people who have witnessed the power of God . "What did you do it" ? "What kind of life do you live "? How do you pray ? How do you fellowship with God ? "What's your relationship with God like ?"

lol, we plan for the future because we know the future will come. Whether you worship God for what he gives or worship him for who he is, the fact is that at the end of the day, he will still have to bless everyone and provide our needs because we all have needs.

If everyone give a shot at christianity, it must live up to expectations stated in the Bible. I see not way one can misinterprete or add extra meaning to Matt 7:7 and it's similar verses. I know God exists he has spoken to me before but all I am saying is that the world does not reflect the existence of God. Failure to live up to expectations will surely cast doubts on its integrity.

If faith works, medical experts would know even just as everyone because it is sure a better remedy to diseases and all form of human suffering would have been terminated by faith. That is not what I see, why? How can one be sure that the Christian God is the true one since we are Christians because we were born in Christian homes rather than by true encounter with God?

What makes Muslims have faith in Allah is what makes Christians have faith in God. The same way thay look down on the Christian God and Jesus is the same way Christians look down on Allah. Do you think they will go hell? So they think of you. The only to spot out fake religion is by the miraculous demonstration of the true God so that when other folks in other religions see it, they will migrate to the better God. Thus, he is undisputed.

I don't doubt lionel Messi's abilities as a good player but why do people disagree on God's existence? How can you say someone is great in all the universe when people are still arguing whether he exists or not? Cornering the future, we know and have faith that it will come so we plan, we also know it may not go the way we plan, we also know it is unpredictable but we still plan because we don't want to be taken unawares and there are plans that will pay rich dividend in future as it has always done for others.

I look at the world and see that it does not reflect the existence of a loving and all powerful God. The life of christians don't reflect the existence of God. Do unbelievers succeed in life and enjoy good health? So do some christians. Are some unbelievers sick, poor, suffering e.t.c? So are some christians so what is special about God. Is he then partial?

Why is it that religion does more harm than good? Why is religion ladden with the so called faith, false hope and fake promises. Do they know what faith is?, do we argue Lionel Messi's ability as a world class player? Even his haters know he is good. Arguing whether lionel Messi exists would be an insult to his greatness but not the same with the great almighty God, so much for his greatness and power that people are still doubtful of his existence.

Lionel Messi never asked us to believe in him before he performed on the pitch instead he demonstrated and we had faith in his ability but with God it is believe first, which is wrong as it is mental slavery. If there is evidence, there will be faith. For you to believe without seeing means that the person you believe in most have demonstrated time in time out.

If the almighty seeks faith, then he must perform time in time out. If such happens, when someone falls sick the first thing he or she remembers is prayer and God to bring healing --- that is faith. Telling one to believe without seeing is an insult to human intelligence. If we were like that don't you think we would be cheated easily at all times?

The very notion of omnipotence is contradictory, if I am omnipotent, can I create a stone so heavy that I cannot lift? If yes then my inability to lift the stone rules out my omnipotence. If I have to add more power to lift the stone then I wasn't all powerful.

intelligence refers to abilities e.g we can say a dolphin is more intelligent than a tilapia. The dolphin can perform on higher mental level than the tilapia. Brilliance is a measure of how well you are grounded in a field of knowledge or anything that can be acquired mentally e.g. a cave man with genius intelligence in the past is not brilliant as an averagely intelligent and present day 3rd class BSc. holder(in marine science).
Intelligence can give you brilliance but it is not brilliance. That is why people that are very intelligent are very brilliant. You are born with intelligence and you acquire brilliance. Intelligence has little brilliance attached at birth and is proportional to it. Most people confuse and interchange abilities and brilliance. They also do the same with ingenuity and brilliance.
