Application : 28 February (online)
Biometrics: 1st March
Medical call : 10th May
Medical Done : 14th May
Medical updated to pass : 20th May
Passport request: 31st May
Passport stamped and collected: 5th June

Admitted into Post Baccalaureate Diploma in business administration.
School: Thompson Rivers university , Kamloops, British Columbia.

Even PGD applicants can get TRV , just make sure there are some prerequisites from your previous degree and make a mature sop .

Yes that’s how It goes, first it states you do not medical , then during processing, if they need your medical information they call you for it.

Please i have been trying to track my application. Submitted online. But saying no record found. Its been exactly 1 months since i did biometrics and got a mail that it has been transfered to vsf Lagos. How long did yours take before you were able to track yours

You won’t be able to see anything on VFS portal when you track, that’s why you need to monitor your application via your online account.

It’s the travel history guy again ooo... submitted my passport last Thursday immediately after getting my passport request letter. Today I tracked and it’s ready for collection.

What’s the average time of pick up , after passport request? And my VFS tracking codes is still saying , no records found shaa .. submitted passport yesterday afternoon by 12.

Still, approval is almost guaranteed. They have absolutely no reason to request for your passport if they intend to reject your application. My correspondence letter (approval mail) came after I had submitted my passport.

Guy Abeg sorry ooo... out of excitement I said I got approval, what I got was a passport request letter with some barcodes on it, which I submitted to VFS today alongside my passport !! I guess approval mail would come soon.

My people, my people , I just got my approval email by 11 this morning , Nairaland oooo them know my story !!

Just submitted my passport to VFS , approval came with request !! My application took exactly 3 months on the dot!! Mum knees are really ashy from prayers , the emotional stress is not easy , but keep faith hopefuls!!

Guys not being desperate, but what’s making my application take this long? Even after I’ve passed My medicals on the 20th, I applied since 28th February .

I had the notion that approvals comes fast once you pass the medicals.

Guys, is it possible to get approved on CIC account and not get an email notification of the approval?

This Canada process is so unpredictable, no update since I last did my medical. It almost 3weeks. I passed my medical was thinking by now I should be updated about the final decision..

How long did it take since you applied before you got called for medicals ?

I have actually seen quite a few denials last year around fall when decisions are made a lot. This year is too early maybe to tell and haven’t seen any here so far. Chances are more likely than not that you would be approved if you were called for medicals. But I wouldn’t say denials are rare after you have been called for medicals. I will just say chances are good you will sail through.

Am waiting for approval too after medicals passed.. I pray It goes through honestly .

Hello gurus in the House Abeg , did my medical after Request from CIC to do it , last week Tuesday, status changed to “you passed the medical exam”

How long do you think before I get a decision now? I applied 28february Biometrics 1st March, medical call 10th May , medical done 15th May. Medical passed 20th May , so what next and when my people !!

@ Martswoll for those that did the paper route application does medical request come as email to the individual ? Also, once the medical is done, do you still need to notify cic of completion via email to them - otherwise, is it automatic for them to receive the results of medical.

Appreciate clarification for paper route applicant without upfront medicals and did not link application online.

If you applied through paper route and linked your application online , the email you entered as a means of getting update on your application, is the email CIC would use in sending you update emails , if any activity like medical request or approval occurs on your application. SO you do need to link your paper application online .

No you don’t need to remind CIC that you’ve done your medicals , if you got a medical call a unique IME code is given to you in your medical request form, so when you do your medicals, the consultancy you did it at, will send up your medical report to CIC, hereby CIC would update your medicals based on their evaluation within 4-5 after medicals . If you are in doubt or want to clarify it the consultancy has sent up your medical info, then call the consultancy directly and ask if they’ve forwarded your information.
