gbosaa: Did you not hear the same commentator say that the red card on Zola was a bit harsh? Maybe the yellow card was to compensate the Italians for the error he made in the first half. I am tempted to blame the result of the match on hard luck or inexperience but i'd rather blame it on poor concentration and sloppiness on the players especially Oliseh. The diagonal pass which he could have intercepted fed Baggio who scored to level.
Nigeria should have won that match but did not take their chances. commentators are human and can say anything, zola red card was not harsh, he had no intention to get the ball |

What's your Point picking Uzoho ahead of Ezenwa and Akpeyi?! they have been disappointing so far, eze can't make the worldcup if awaziem and Omeruo are fit |

Oasis007: I will rather drop both and pick Eze for the Final List. Are you comfortable with our Defence?! Aside from Ekong and Balogun, who else is capable among our Defenders - sentiment apart?!
In a 3-man Defence, Awaziem and Omeruo can be trusted, but in a 2-Man Defence....... taah!
Stephen has the Height and Stamina to succeed as a Defender. He's only needed to be panel-fitted a bit to bring out the best in him. what's your point, picking Eze ahead of Omerou and Awaziem? |

Mujtahida: You are the one that has no point. Accusations cannot just be in the air. Counter his points with facts. He has mentioned games where Vicmo wasn't selfish. Why don't you mention the specific games he was selfish.
No player is perfect, yes but does that mean we can say things that are not factual? bros the problem here is communication, I'm actually saying moses is not selfish...calm down a little |

gbosaa: It was a fair match. Zola reacted badly to Eguavoan's challenge but i dont think he deserved a red for that. Maldini's arm pulling was a bit similar to Sergio Ramos's. Yekini would have sustained wrist fracture when he landed. Nigeria had a chance to wrapup the game but failed. At one man down, they should have taken advantage but they didn't. Oliseh poor challenge gifted Baggio the chance to receive the score to level up. The penalty in my opinion was right. Eguavon's clumsy challenge merited a penalty. Yekini had the opportunity to equalise off Emenalo's beautiful cross but he fluffed it. Sometime i wonder why people should be blaming and holding deep grudges against Ayegbenu, Yekini's miss was worse in my opinion. baba how can yekini missed chance be worst than yakubu own, the ball did not land well for yekini and fo your analysis on maldini foul on yekini...he was the last man and that was a genuine goal scoring chance. |

minfelix: you guys should go and watch the following games vicmo played in GWG and see whether he was too selfish or not.. Nigeria 6 - 1 Liberia 2012 qualifier Ethiopia 0 -2 Nigeria afcon 2013 SA 0-2 Nigeria mandella challenge 2013 Nigeria 4-1 Mali afcon 2013 CIV 1-2 Nigeria afcon 2013 Nigeria 3-1 Algeria WC qualifiers Nigeria 1- 0 Zambia WC qualifiers and so many others I can't rememba.. not that he was so selfish that all the goals we scored in those listed games were scored by him from selfishness, most of those goals were scored by some other players as a result of vicmo runs and some were from vicmo assist..my own is dat d guy holds on to d ball on a fast counter attacking moment and passes wen its needed if no 1 comes out clear to collect pass i trust moses he go make sure say he dribbles anybody wey show face and aim at goal and so many more you cant remember? but you remember 2012 6 years ago, bro you no get point.sometimes i feel you guys are bored and just wanna start up an argument.no player is perfect and no player can give you a 100% always even the captain Mikel has his own flaws, mikel remain our major trait going forward |

Kog45: Eagles starting lineup against DR Congo barely last minute change
1.Uzoho.. to boost his confidence
2.Ebuehi... picked to determine his fitness
3.Echiejile.. to ascertain his readiness since he had poor season.
4.Onazi...also to test his fitness
5.Balogun.... to ascertain his fitness since he is just coming back from injury
6.Ekong.....need to be in shape due to his bench role at the tail end of the season.
7.Lokosa....Rohr want to see want he can offer.
8.Joel........ his fitness level in question,so need this natch to prove he is fit.
9.Simy........He just need this match to prove a point
10.Etebo.....just back from injury, Rohr want to see his fitness.
11.Iheanacho...Had a good camp training as winger so Rohr want to see more of it and not really satisfied with his 7 starts of the season.
Rohr picked this XI majorly to ascertain the fitness level of players just coming back from injuries and players that lack playing time.
With this decision Rohr is a good manager cos this will expose players who are trying to hide their state of fitness. i don't see ekong, ebuehi and balogun starting this game and even joel |

BascoVanVeli: There is no arrogance this is something you are making up. Against Poland all the fks were for right footers. In my mind Nacho was our set piece taker until he pulled that stunt against SA. In reality he is lucky to even be on the team let alone be an option which he still is. You can believe that Moses forcefully takes all our set pieces, the coach obviously made that decision that he is number one. against poland we had just 3 freekicks from good range, moses took 1,iheanacho toom 1 and ekong took 1 too, make una calm down on moses |

OMANBALA1: Against Cameroon Ighalo could have scored 2 goals if it wasn't for Victor Moses. Ighalo can score a lot of goals if the players around him can understand his style...If Ighalo blends with Nacho as a support striker it will prove deadly. Ighalo will never click with Victor Moses...He needs to be paired with Nacho or Iwobi ,players with more vision and less dribble. i don't know the problem you have with moses but is legendary, moses can't be drop because ighalo is not compactable with him |

Farzat: I sympathize with Simon Moses. He really deserve to be in Russia. Maybe his enemies and those journalists writing trash about him should be satisfied now. Meanwhile Etebo should be his best replacement for d LW position for now. Etebo played d LW position at d Olympics and was very dangerous there. He has no business in d middle of d field for d SE, LW should be d best position to utilize his energy, defensive n attacking abilities. But if we need a winger that offers something different, then Onyekuru should be invited if he's fully fit. As for Musa, we know he cant start any match, we also know he cant make any positive difference from d bench yet nobody is talking about dropping him. you opinion though, musa is a very good player and did not make the team by sentiment. hopefully he will prove you wrong |

MetalJigsaw: Portuguese Club Sporting Lisbon Eager To Sign Ajayi From Unwilling Al Ahly May 27, 2018 8:23 am
Portuguese club, Sporting Lisbon, have emerged as the favourites to sign Nigerian forward, Junior Ajayi from Egyptian side, Al Ahly this summer, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Ajayi, 22, joined Al Ahly in September, 2016 from Tunisian club, CS Sfaxien and has established himself as one of the key members of the team.
He has attracted interest from a number of European clubs with Al Ahly adamant they won’t part with one of their most important players.
CSN scooped from a source close to the former Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan player, that Sporting Lisbon who finished third in the Portuguese league during the just concluded season and will compete in the Europa League next term, are now in pole position to secure Ajayi’s services.
“There is a possibility that Junior will leave Al Ahly very soon with Sporting Lisbon as his destination,” the source informed CSN. “Talks are still ongoing but you know in transfer dealings, things can change at any time as they are not the only club who want to sign him.”
The former Shooting Stars of Ibadan player has made 32 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils this season and has scored nine goals and delivered 11 assists.
Super Eagles coaches didn’t select him in Nigeria’s 30-man provisional squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia despite earning his first call-up for the team’s friendly games against Poland and Serbia.

As I said, experience is not a guarantee of good performance. It takes bravery, determination and talent. Those mistakes does not change the fact that his better than our keepers |

Mujtahida: Moses was injured in the Argentina tie. Initially it skipped my mind that he was in the squad for the friendlies but he was just coming from a a two months injury and before the friendlies played just one match for his club coming in the 70 min. Don't you think that tilted the odds in iwobi's favour? That's why I say it's arguable. It can be argued Bro unlike Moses case. You can decide which side to stand but it can be argued. On the contrary can it be argued that Vicmo is a starter? No! it might be your view though, some players has more strong hold on the team more than others. v.moses is more of a sure starter than iwobi |
