TheGoodJoe:

I disagree on the changes. The change pulling out Nacho for Ighalo was awful. Musa was the best option out and bringing in John Ogu. While Etebo pairs with Nacho upfront, contributing a lot to defending.

The Iwobi change was also another poor call. Rohr needs to grow some balls and also make better changes to suit the team. We can do better if Rohr can just take his foot off the brakes.
so Musa should have gone out when he was not showing any sign of getting tired and Nacho should stay on abi?? why are we always putting our love for one player ahead of the team??

why bring Ogu and then pair Etebo with nacho up front and kill the team chemistry and movement, the ogu you are bringing in will play ahead of mikel or what??

you believe you know more than Rohr with this your laughable analysis? baba go rest

I hope Rohr does not make the kind of changes he made when we went 2 goals up. Those kind of substitutions could lead to a disaster and us throwing away the lead. He could have brought in more defensive players like Ogu to help secure the goals than exposing us. The worst was Etebo for Iwobi. It should have been Musa for Ogu.
how is iwobi for Etebo bad, Etebo was the number 10 yesterday. i thought we all think iwobi is a number 10 too?

Bruh.... let's forget it coz it seems we are still celebrating the Victory. But do you know we were very Poor in the first Half?!

I wish you can re-watch the first Half of the Match. Perhaps you can have a rethink!
We were not poor in the First half, football is like a game of chess, that first half was tactical. Rohr don't want to make mistakes and second half he decided to take all the risk he can.

Personally I don't see any inconsistency..... Rohr is slow to change even when it's visible to the blind. He killed us against Croatia by starting 4231 with Mikel further forward, shehu and ighalo starting with iwobi on the wings......

352 is our best bet.... Though most didn't see Moses playing the RWB.... Or Mikel dropping deep..... Rohr won this game of chess against the Icelanders today...... We have to wait and see what he has in store for the Argies.
how did he kill you with the 4-2-3-1, this has been his preferred formation, that formation brought us to worldcup, mikel was the 10 in the previous games and iwobi played in the wing in his clubs and qualifiers...

Rohr deserves some accolade, he started the 3-5-2 in Nigeria, most of our home base coach won't try that, his changes are always spot on. this man can't do all what we want.

and for thos saying Rohr is inept now they can eat there words

U sure Simmy can exchange those quick one - two passes Kelechi was giving out? Can Simmy track back into the midfield to orchestrate attacks and still rush back to the front, quick enough like KC was doing?

Just a simple question
nacho did not play well, his free-kick were very poor, moses indirect freekick was better than his.

What I'm saying is that If we're gonna win today ..we have to be prepared to go all the way against Argentina.

Cos if we should today..they have a huge chance by beating us...so we have to be up for it
I'm sure you won't say this after the match

we are doing our self a favour

Musa is a striker, he plays the striking role for cska Moscow and Nacho is also a striker

Did you watch Kun against Croatia? Now that was poor. Ighalo actually touched the ball and was engaged in our game. For a player to be clinical there has to be a chance created. I want Iheanacho to join but not take over because if we can't hold up the ball we won't be able to play and would then have to resort to aimless long balls.
very good observation, ighalo was starved. but i think he should learn from some strikers like ibrahimovic and drogba they tend to come deep to pick the ball and make things happen

this is not the case of repeating same stuff this is the case of defiating, no matter how you make it look, the talk was not about Nigeria and you got it all wrong..we were talking about where the motivation for Croatia against Will cime from

I only quoted your words, "Moreover, nobody wants France."

I was just playing picking on just that and saying, "...hands raised here, I actually do want France" even though you were speaking for Croatia.

So it changes nothing about the bottom line... Me, personally, myself and I want France. We cannot avoid it sef coz the best we can get to qualify is second but truth is it is what I have been hoping for even before the WC began. wink You read me now? So, I do cool
SMH, you remember when we had a little argument and you were like if i actually read up it will save us the long talk, i want you to advice your self on that, read up before you jump to some talks

in the context i said that was not for Nigeria that's why you are way off, someone said Croatia vs iceland might be sold or manipulated and i said the motivation of escaping France will lead them on, common think

instead of playing him on the wings let him seat on the bench. it depresses me to see that boy go anonymous in matches he plays from the wings. etebo can play there. iwobi should never be deployed to the wings again abeg!
the wings and the middle, where had iwobi played more in his career??

we know his best in the middle, but even in his club he plays by the side so what's wrong in deploying hin in the same place he plays for his club?

I laugh when people say Iwobi is not effective from the wings so put him on the bench.

The alternative should be assigning him a more central role.

You cannot have a player with Iwobi's abilities in this kind of Super Eagles team and you start him on the bench.

Bench Iwobi and start Musa Kwa?
exactly my view
