Good evening everyone. Please can I submit an online printout of my bank statement coz I don't live in Nigeria n am d one sponsoring my bro. Will be glad if you can share your idea with me.

Even if you print online, you need your bank manager's signature and stamp on the statement. So speak to someone in your bank and let your brother go and get it

Hi all,

Please I got an admission for an MBA program for September 2018 at the university of New Brunswick, I would like to know if I can start processing my TRV now or wait till the later part of the year.

Your suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

September 2018 Or do you mean September 2017? If its 2017 then you can go ahead to process your TRV but if its 2018 I guess its too early

Good morning house. Please house help me look into this situation. What happens to an individual who finished service about 6 months ago but hasn't been employed, not completely idle though but not a serious job and the person wants to apply for TRV. How should the 6 months gap be explained? Does she need to submit a statement of account? Sponsor is blood brother with good statement of account. The only issue is how to explain the gap. Experts and gurus should help out please. Thank you.
N:B Has admission already for a masters related to Undergraduate degree

If i am right... That is a foundation program to qualify you into the main stream after meeting a set criteria... It's usually a consideration given to applicants who have not fully met the requirements of a main program or get very close to meeting up...

Most schools will not spell this clause fully on admission letters but if written as your case.... It may also be to your advantage.....

Your LoE may state that you have chosen the route because the foundation program is designed to sufficiently prepare you for your proposed program... This is what makes it unique from similar programs found in Nigeria and many other parts of the world.... And so on.......

Admissions are not easy to come by these days!!
Regards.

Thanks so much @FolaRoyal for the response. It is not a foundation program, its actually an Msc. You're right she didn't meet up to the 70% required by the school but she's slightly lower and they're admitting her on probation.

Good evening house, A colleague just got conditional letter of acceptance into university of Regina, but she was admitted as a probationary student and must have 75%CGPA in the first 3 graded courses before she can be admitted fully for the program. She's worried and wants to know if this won't affect the VO's decision in granting her TRV. Note that the 3 graded courses is between Fall 2017 and Summer 2018. Please has anyone been in this situation before? What advice would you give to her? Please help! Thanks

My guy, we no fit run oooo
It's just preparation.

For admission seekers,
Sincerely getting an MSc admission in a Canadian university is a great battle, some times greater than TRV application.
The competition is very high because people from other countries are involved too.
Even a very high Cgpa is not a guarantee. Securing a supervisor with full funding or scholarship is not easy at all.
I will encourage all applicants to prayerfully apply to schools where Africans have been recognised for their academic achievements
dont give up on your Canada dream#.
I would like to mention that Canada likes Nigerians too, our people are making waves in Canada.

Every applicant has a story.
Please can you give us examples of such schools where Africans have good academic achievements so it can be a guide when applying to schools. Thank you.

To the bolded of your GCMS NOTE, this is just a silly excuse since the VO couldn't see what to lay hands to refuse you..as you have increased your bank statement which totaled 2.1m is ok and as you have put assets too,it is okay.if you are being refused again which i don't pray for,Just know that the VO doesn't want to give you the visa cos of the PGD program and try another country where ur cgpa can get you masters..
I sent you a PM. Please reply, Thank you

it's not a must,it's never a requirement unless you owe an explanation to the VO of some issues he needs to understand more
Okay, Thanks a lot. I was thinking its people without statement of purpose that are being delayed due to purpose of visit. Thanks once more

He should contact VFS for what nauu? Hiss application is just a week old and he wants to contact VFS. I know people whose applications are 16th, 17th, 18th weeks here. His application is just a week and he's asking for help. Send a mail to VFS nauu so that they will know that you are desperate to migrate. This precedent we are setting is bad ohhh.. I'm tired of seeing all these. Why not wait until after the processing times?

I'm not desperate and I know I still have to chill for sometime but I know people get acknowledgment mails on the day they submit n I didn't get any. Plus I tried tracking n linking on line still saying application not found. Just want to be sure everything is well n I'm not leaving anything un done. Thanks all the same

Use the tracking ID stated on the slip given to you at vfs to track your application.

Do not use the reference no on the slip given to you.

Ensure that the date of birth you filled while tracking your application is consistent with the date of birth on your application form and international passport.
Did that already. Its still saying Application not found

Hello house! I'm a newbie. Please house I don't want to be unnecessarily worried but when things don't go as expected you tend to get worried. I submitted my application via paper route since 12th of July. No mail or text from VFS acknowleding that my application has been received. I tried tracking it, it says application not found, I tried linking it online as suggested here it's saying the same thing, I'm sure all the information I gave were accurate. Please what else should I do to know/ get the status of my application. Someone should please help me and put me through. Thank you
