THE DANGERS OF ANTIMICROBIAL RESISTANCE

Antimicrobial resistance is one of the biggest threats to global health, food security, and development. It requires urgent multisectoral action to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - WHO, November 17, 2021.





We all have been guilty of this at some point, the moment there is a suspicion of an infection, our first instinct is to get an 'antibiotic' that will quickly cure this self-diagnosed infection. I have been down that road too - I didn't know better then, but now I do, and after going through this article, I believe you will too. Now walk with me here, imagine buying that particular antibiotic to cure a stubborn infection, and it doesn't go away even after taking every single pill. You get a different class of antibiotics, yet nothing, then another (a more expensive one at this point), and still, nothing. At this point, you run to the clinic where you are asked to get another one (a super expensive one), after weeks of use, you finally find reprieve but there's a catch - when the next infection comes, this last expensive pill might just be the only drug you or anyone else can use, that is if it works next time. It's scary, right?


ANTIMICROBIAL RESISTANCE is a big issue that includes antibiotic resistance, antiviral drug resistance, antifungal drug resistance, and antiparasitic drug resistance.


ANTIMICROBIALS?

Antimicrobials are drugs that destroy or limit the growth of microorganisms (germs) when they infect humans, animals, and plants. They are classified into Antibiotics, Antifungal agents, Antiviral agents, and Antiprotozoals.







ANTIMICROBIAL RESISTANCE?

Antimicrobial resistance occurs when these drugs that could initially destroy these organisms find it difficult or impossible to do so, in the usual dose or doses higher than usual. Infections such as Retroviral disease, Tuberculosis, Gonorrhea, Pneumonia, Colitis, and Staph. infections, Salmonella, and other Foodborne diseases are becoming increasingly difficult to treat - the superbugs.


CAUSES?

The causes of this menace generally include the misuse and overuse of these drugs and the development of poor-quality drugs. This is seen in situations like;

•Countries where the standard prescription guidelines are unavailable or not properly followed, leading to over-prescription and under-prescription of antimicrobials.

•Regions that struggle with poor health facilities and professionals, which make it difficult to carry out standard microorganism culture and sensitivity tests before prescribing drugs.

•Countries where the rate of infection control is very poor.

•Regions with ineffective drug control systems, can lead to the production and distribution of substandard drugs.


HOW DOES IT HAPPEN?

Antimicrobial resistance occurs naturally and gradually, it involves genetic changes (mutations) that allow organisms to develop certain structures (protein pumps, enzymes, and others), the structures make them resistant to the drugs. These organisms can survive/thrive despite the use of these drugs, irrespective of dosage or duration. It is not the human or animal or plant that develops this resistance but the microorganism themselves. Some organisms can become resistant to more than one drug giving rise to the Multidrug-resistance/Pan-resistance phenomenon. The resistance is not limited to just an individual, it spreads quickly to different persons and even between people, animals, and plants.


POSSIBLE STRATEGIES?

Concerted efforts are needed to timely tame this wildfire, the consequences of inaction are far too grave to even consider.

Government agencies should

•Come up with strong national policies to tackle the emergence and spread of possible resistant strains of microorganisms.

•Strengthen the implementation of old policies and programs to prevent and control infections.

•Allocate a considerable amount to the health budget so the health sector can get its much-needed revamp.

•Improve surveillance systems to track the emergence and spread of resistant organisms.

•Regulate and promote the appropriate use of quality medicines in the treatment of infections.

•Constantly sensitize the general populace.

Health professionals and institutions should

•Educate patients about the dangers of antimicrobial abuse.

•Ensure that microscopy, culture, and sensitivity testing of suspected infections are considered before commencing treatment.

•Only prescribe and dispense antimicrobial when needed and according to the treatment guidelines.

•Carefully educate patients on how to take their drugs properly.

•Report any confirmed antimicrobial-resistant infection to the relevant agencies.

•Educate patients on the prevention of infections through improved hygiene and nutrition, vaccinations, safer sex, and safer travels.


The Individual should

•Reduce/stop indiscriminate use of antimicrobials without proper prescriptions.

•Present early in a health facility for proper management.

•Follow the advice of their primary health physicians.

•Maintain proper hygiene and adequate nutrition.


CONSEQUENCES?

The consequences of antimicrobial resistance are far-reaching and quite grave. In a country like ours, treatment failure means increased health expenses, increased stay in the health facility, and poses a huge risk for other surgical emergencies and procedures like cesarean section, organ transplant, and cancer chemotherapy where antibiotics are widely used.








Even if new drugs are developed, without a behavioral change, I see us in this same old place, having the same old conversations for years to come. These organisms have proven their smartest and adaptability times and again, It is time we all begin to do better, for our sakes and the sake of generations unborn. The World Health Organization celebrates World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW) from November 18th to 24th every year and the slogan is Antimicrobials: Handle with care.

Jado, a very smart differently-abled young man has narrated how he kept his disability from his fiancée until they got married.

Jado and his wife dated for two years before getting married and she did not ever suspect that he was crippled.

Jado, who lost his legs in a bomb blast when he was a child, stated that he kept his disability from his wife out of fear she would reject him.

Speaking with Afrimax Tv, Jado narrated the whole event stating that previous girls he loved did not agree to date him because of his condition.

His wife, Bora, on her part, said she was shocked when she learned her husband has no legs because he always walked on artificial legs and she thought his inability to walk properly was due to a fracture.

According to her, she discovered the truth after their wedding, yet she was not angry or disappointed with her husband after he explained the reason behind his action.

The couple recounted how the bride’s family advised her to end the marriage after they also learnt of Jado’s condition.

At the time they granted the interview, they have been married for eight months and declared that it was the best thing they have ever experienced.

Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka has condemned the outcry generated by the Muslim/Muslim presidential ticket as Nigerians head towards general elections next year.

He described the controversies surrounding the Muslim/Muslim ticket as a reflection of how the country has been fractured along religious lines and its citizens made to look different from one another right from childhood.

Soyinka made the remarks on Tuesday in Abeokuta, Ogun State while moderating a lecture, themed: ‘Good Governance or Misgovernance: The Contract called Democracy’. The lecture was organised by the historic Abeokuta Club to mark its 50th anniversary.

His words: “This gathering here could not have been more timely. In fact I am hoping that a series of this kind of encounter will take place all over the nation between now and the long awaited day next year. I think it will help many people clarify a number of things in minds before that day and maybe move a little bit away towards pulling us out of the morass in which we find ourselves, if we want to be very honest about this.

“I think we’ve all come here with a lot of negative image hanging on our necks. And also some measure of hope, some modicum of illumination,” Soyinka said.

The Nobel Laureate, acknowledging the presence of secondary school students in uniform whom he said events like that for him were primarily for, also used the opportunity to condemn the controversies triggered by the Muslim/Muslim presidential ticket and whether students should be allowed to wear religious garbs to schools.

“There is one other thing going on in my mind. And I think we have the experts here who will talk about it. There are some school children over there. And one wonderful thing about them for me is that they are in uniform. In other words I cannot tell which one is a Christian, which one is a Muslim, which one is an Orisa worshipper, which one is a Zoroastrian, which one is a Buddhist. They are school children.

“They are equal and they are being encouraged to see one another as human beings, not as separate creatures. And I want to be informed if it is against democracy that schools insist that uniforms be worn by children so that they are not distinguished in a very dramatic way. So that they do not look at one another as different.

“So now I’m talking to religionists. I’m saying why do you want to create such marked differentiation at that age, that impressionable age, when we need to teach our children to look at one another as equals, as the same people, the same entitled creatures of society?

“These are issues which I hope we will also touch. Because when we hear expressions like Muslim/Muslim ticket, Christian/Christian ticket, Orisa/Orisa worshipper ticket. This is where it all begins. This is where the nervousness begins. This is where the anxiety and the phobia begin. This is where it begins, when you teach the children to be different at an age when they are so impressionable. These are issues I hope you will help to resolve,” Soyinka maintained.

A very confused and heartbroken man narrated how he made the shocking discovery that his newly wedded wife has a penis on their first night as married couples.

According to the Ghanaian man, he and his wife resolved to remain virgins until they got married.

Former Liverpool defender, Jamie Carragher has noted that Chelsea are now in the transfer market buying anything they see.

Prof. George Wajackoyah, a presidential candidate for the Roots party, was seen being sexually attacked while out campaigning, and the video was released online.

According to local news outlets, this happened when the Kenyan presidential contender was being surrounded by supporters while campaigning from the back of a truck.

Joe Aribo scored his first goal for Southampton in their pre-season clash against Villarreal on Saturday afternoon.

And what a goal it was.

Southampton fell behind in the 15th minute courtesy of Yéremy Pino’s header.

But Aribo, who signed for the club in a £10m move from Rangers this summer, restored parity in the second half with a brilliant solo goal.

Less than three years after the re-emergence of a virus that brought the entire world to its toes, the World Health Organization has once again told us to be on high alert for a new evil lurking around in the shadows -Monkeypox. This is a huge cause for concern, countries all over the globe are still struggling with the fallout of the last pandemic, the last thing our world needs right now is another pandemic.


Is monkeypox the same as Covid 19?

Except that this fresh evil is of viral origin and was pretty uncommon until recently, there is little connection between covid 19 and monkeypox.

Monkeypox is a previously rare disease caused by the monkeypox virus, a member of the orthopoxvirus family (smallpox also belongs to this family).


How widespread is monkeypox?

The sudden spike in the number of cases since January is a cause for worry. About 16016 laboratory-confirmed cases and 5 deaths have been recorded so far from 75 nations in all the 6 WHO regions. Africa has also seen a significant increase in the number of cases since April of this year.







How do you get infected with Monkeypox?

Studies show that the main pattern includes:

Horizontal transmission (via direct contact with infectious skin or mucocutaneous lesions, respiratory droplets, and intimate contact with infected persons).

Indirect transmission (through contaminated surfaces and agents called for mites).

Vertical transmission (mother to child transmission).

Earlier reported cases involved mainly (but not exclusively) men who have sex with men, there are also reports of animal-human transmission from bites, scratches, and consumption of poorly processed animal products.

The exact mechanism of sexual transmission and the incubation process is still poorly understood although the incubation period has been put between 5-21 days.

Children and young adults, pregnant women, and the immunocompromised are at higher risk of contracting this virus.


What are the symptoms of monkeypox?

Common symptoms of monkeypox include progressive rash, swollen lymph nodes, fever, and headache. Recently, the disease has presented with some atypical symptoms like a few or single lesions, anal pain and bleeding, lesions in the Instruments, perineum, and perianal regions, and constitutional symptoms.


How do you manage monkeypox?

•Management of the virus begins with laboratory confirmation of the virus in a patient, effective screening tools are available at diagnostic centers.

•Management of the symptoms that present.

•The use of Tecovirimat (TPOXX), an antiviral drug used for treating smallpox has also been shown to be somewhat effective.


How do you prevent infection?

Collective attention and coordinated actions are needed. Public awareness, social distancing, use of face masks, active surveillance, effective contact tracing, early presentation, and vaccination are good places to start. Some vaccines (imvamune/imvanex and ACAM 2000) are available, and others are in different stages of clinical trials.

The entire church went agog after Obi was introduced by the wife of the Senior Pastor, Paul Enenche, Becky.

Addressing members of the church, Becky Enenche said: “And we also have tonight, Mr Peter Obi who has joined for the service this evening.”

The entire church erupted into clapping and screaming as they cheered him.

While the cheering was on, Enenche himself walked to Obi and shook his hand.

The former Anambra State Governor is one of the leading contenders for the 2023 presidential election.

The immediate-past Senate Minority Leader and the Senator representing Abia South, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, has said that irrespective of ones political affiliation, it will be difficult to campaign against the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi.

Senator Abaribe who spoke Thursday night at the inaugural Ikengaonline town-hall virtual meeting, said Obi’s phenomenon had brought huge revolution in the country’s electoral system.

He explained that a lot of youths and Nigerians from across the different geo-political zones who had lost interest in the political system had suddenly developed interest in the 2023 elections.

Abaribe observed that Obi was frustrated out of the PDP, just like himself but noted with delight that progressive Nigerians who want a new and better country are now rallying support for him.

” There is no gainsaying the fact that Obi has galvanized interests of people not just in Igbo land but across other ge-opolitical zones. He has revolutionarised the system. People are now saying let’s now go and vote.

“People who had lost interest before are now showing interest in voting.

” Though I’m in a different party, the truth is that it will be difficult for me to say: Don’t vote for Obi. In fact, some parties have already adopted him. They tell people: For President, vote for Obi, and then for other positions vote our party.”

He said that the political cabal in the country never envisaged the eruption of Obi phenomenon, but added that the movement is massive and exponential.

” People are fed up with the old system and they want a breath of fresh air.
They have seen Obi as somebody that will bring the fresh air and that is why they are rallying behind him.

An unidentified lady has once again dragged Arsenal star Thomas Partey, to filth on social media over fresh Rape allegations with receipts.

Recall that earlier this month, Arsenal star, Thomas Partey had been reportedly accused of rape allegations by his wife, Sara Bella.

The shocking report suggested that Partey was left out of Arsenal's pre-season schedule in Germany as he was dealing with personal issues.

The 29-year-old Ghanaian midfielder was reportedly being accused of rape by his Moroccan girlfriend Sara Bella for one of the most ridiculous reasons ever.

Partey's Moroccan wife Sara Bella had reportedly accused the Arsenal star of rape after refusing to walk her down the aisle.

Eventually, the rumours died down with the Arsenal star rejoining his teammates in Germany for Arsenal's pre-season.

According to her,Thomas Partey allegedly tried to forcefully have oral s*x with her while she was asleep. A bizarre gesture which she obviously didn't take kindly.

'He raped me, left me in bed unconscious then went out to party in Ibiza, came back, laughed in my face and told me I don’t get to say no to him' she claimed.

@deffonotchaur began with a thread that read: 'Thomas Partey is a serial rapist who has got lucky because the date he decided to rape me whilst we were on holiday together was 10 days before UK law changed allowing UK police forces jurisdiction over crimes committed outside the UK'

Following the post, @deffonotchaur then added another tweet in the thread with a screen-recorded video of her chats with Partey and a post that read:

'This is the “innocent man” you arsenal fans were defending this video was recorded from my fronds phone after his agent threatened me and told me they would say I made fake videos and manipulated the screenshots.'

Man Raped Two Witches Caught In His Backyard For Hours
A 43-year-old widower from Saselamani outside of Giyani south Africa locked two women inside his house and sexually assaulted them for hours.

According to his neighbours, who were ready to burn the suspected witches, Alfred took quite an unusual route in handling the situation.

“There was no doubt we caught them performing witchcraft, and they were supposed to be burned. On my way to work at around 4 AM, I saw the two naked women stuck inside Alfred’s yard.”

“I called him to come out, and I was rounding up other community members to bring petrol and tires to do what needed to be done. Alfred said not to worry. He will deal with them his way and dragged them inside his house and locked the doors.”

His neighbour, who wishes to remain anonymous, said he heard screams and moaning coming from the house, and Alfred was refusing to open the door.

“I decided to call the police who arrived a few hours later. I thought if he killed them both alone, he was going to jail for murder as opposed to mob justice, the police came and kicked down the door, and it was something I’ve never seen before. The floor was wet with a mixture of his manly fluid and their womanly fluids. He had tied them to the table. He was acting like an animal.”

Police took all three of them to the local police station, and they were all released that same day. The women refused to open a case against Alfred even though he abused them for over three hours. In his own words, Alfred said he did what he did because he figured they already bewitched him.

He said a prophet told him two women are busy putting a curse on him not to marry again, so he wanted to take his sexual frustration out on them.

The police said they let Alfred go after the three of them shook hands and agreed not to bother each other again. “Alfred wanted the two women to say they will no longer bewitch him if they want to be safe from him.”

A suspected terrorist was nabbed at Uromi, Edo state today.

Residents were placed in shock when a man who was suspected to be a terrorist was arrested at Uromi.

PREMIER UPDATE BLOG reported that a man with charm was nabbed in St Anthony Cathedral few months ago and Uromi has been a victim of numerous kidnapping attempts, some of which were Catholic priests.

PREMIER UPDATE BLOG also reported few weeks ago that three Boko Haram suspects were arrested at ekpoma.

In the video released by an eye witness, we can see the suspect being apprehended by the police and is about to be taken away.

It is therefore Paramount that everyone all over the country takes extra precaution at these times.

Nigeria's Tobi Amusan sets new world record in 100m hurdles

Nigeria's Tobi Amusan set a new world record in the women's 100m hurdles at the World Athletics championships in Eugene on Sunday.

In the first track event of the final session of the 10th day of competition, Amusan streaked to a winning time of 12.12 seconds in the first of three semi-finals.

It smashed the previous best of 12.20sec set by American Kendra Harrison in 2016. Harrison was also in the first semi-final, finishing second in 12.27sec.

The previous championship record was 12.28sec set by Australian Sally Pearson in Daegu in 2011.

Amusan had set an African record of 12.40sec on Saturday to win her heat, the fastest first-round time in world championships history.

"I wanted to get out and go," said the 25-year-old Nigerian.

"I did what I had to do. Now I'm looking forward to the finals."

Inspector resigns, reveals that the Nigerian Government is deliberately sponsoring the killings in Igbo Land(screenshot)

A Nigerian inspector of Police has resigned after 15 years of dedicated service to the nation.

In his resignation letter, he revealed that the reason he made this decision is that despite the incessant killings in the country, especially in Igbo Land, the security officers are not going after the perpetrators, but instead, they are killing innocent people.

He also accused the Nigerian Government of helping foreign terrorists to exterminate the indigenous people of Biafra.

According to him, the Government is helping foreign terrorists to kill the original owners of Igbo lands and claiming the lands in a bid to Islamize the country.

He concluded by calling on the federal government to release Biafra Agitator, Nnamdi Kanu, stating that he's an innocent man.

WASHINGTON - A woman accused of shooting her husband at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in D.C. did so because she claims he was molesting children, court documents reveal.

Police say the call came in around 7:40 p.m. Thursday for reports of a man shot on the eighth floor of the hotel. Police say by then, the suspect had barricaded herself inside one of the rooms.

According to court documents, officers arrived at the room and began speaking with the suspect through the door. The officers asked the suspect, identified as Shanteari Weems, 50, of Randallstown, Maryland, to exit the room, but instead she started indicating that she wanted to shoot herself.

Police say during the conversation, they asked Weems if there was a person who had been shot inside the room, to which Weems replied that "he's a child molester."

The victim then shouted to the officers that he was inside the room and had been shot in the head and leg, to which Weems responded by telling him to "shut up" and threatening to kill the victim.

Police eventually made entry into the room and immediately detained Weems. They said they found two handguns inside the room, one was in Weems's purse and the other was found inside an unlocked safe in the room.

Court documents claim that while Weems was detained, she revealed more to officers on the scene about her relationship with the victim. Weems claimed that she had been married to the victim for five years and that they live in Baltimore.

Weems also revealed that she owns a childcare center in Baltimore County and that she had recently received multiple calls from parents of the daycare accusing her husband of molesting their children.

Weems allegedly then told police that she did not want to kill her husband, instead just hurt him. She did, however, tell police that she wants to kill herself.

Police say they found a letter inside the room, allegedly written by Weems, which reiterates that claim. The letter adds that Weems was hoping to paralyze her husband and that she wants justice for the kids at her daycare.

The letter then concludes with an informal will and testament.

Court documents say after being arrested, Weems waived her rights and provided detectives with an interview. During the interview, she told investigators that her and her husband met in D.C. on July 20, and that during their trip in the District, she kept receiving calls alleging that her husband was molesting children at their daycare.

Weems claims that the calls made her emotional and she decided to bring up the allegations to her husband. During that conversation, Weems says, the situation escalated into an argument, and at some point during the argument, her husband stood up and walked towards her. Weems says that is when she retrieved her gun and shot her husband.

Weems then reiterated her claim to police that she did not want to kill her husband, adding that she could have done it while police were trying to get into the room.

According to the court documents, Weems also told detectives that she does not normally bring a gun with her to her "frequent" trips to D.C.

Police say the husband was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries after the shooting. They have not released an update on his condition.

In response to the allegations made against the husband, FOX 5 received the following statement from Baltimore County Police:

"Baltimore County detectives are currently monitoring the recent developments in Washington D.C. Due to the sensitive circumstances leading up to this incident, the Baltimore County Police Department continues to support the families impacted. As this investigation moves forward, the daycare facility located in Owings Mills remains closed."

Weems has been charged with assault with intent to kill. She is being held without bond. Her next hearing is scheduled for Monday.

Mr Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, outwitted other top contenders in an online poll conducted by the Northern Elders’ Forum to determine the acceptability of presidential contenders in 2023.

Obi scored 81.4 per cent; APC’s Asiwaju Tinubu got 8.3 per cent; NNPP’s Senator Kwankwaso, 3.3 per cent while Alhaji Abubakar of PDP got 7 per cent.

The spokesman of the Northern Elders’ Forum (NEF), Dr Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, initiated the voting via his Twitter handle.

He had asked @baba_hakeem: “If presidential elections are held next week, who will you vote for?”

The online poll began at 11:09pm on July 19, 2022, and 49,389 votes were cast.

Meanwhile Baba-Ahmed has described Mr Obi as a detribalised Nigerian. He stated this after a meeting he hold with Obi Friday morning.

He tweeted, “I spent valuable time with Mr Peter Obi this morning. I wish those who see him as an ethnic candidate can get to know him better.

“I also wish those who try to sell him will tone down his ethnic identity. I hope the nation will see the candidates up close, we could see a revolution.”

Dr Muster Gwandu, in a reaction, urged Mr Obi to speak out against the Indigenous People of Biafra to prove his ethnic neutrality.

Gwandu tweeted in response to Baba-Ahmed’s assertion, “You may be right, Sir. However, Peter Obi’s silence on IPOB terrorism is a considerable factor.

“I have listened to one interview, where he was asked about IpOB, and he sounded somehow sympathetic. [I’m] yet to discard him though, but I’m still reading the man.”

Nigerian Catholic Missionary Priest currently serving in Malawi, Fr Kelvin Ugwu has written to the Independent National Electoral Commission, demanding the inclusion of party candidates running for different positions on the ballot papers.

In a letter posted on his verified Facebook page, Fr Kelvin argued that Nigerians are not voting based on political parties but rather, the personality of the various candidates, stressing that the ballot papers should not be limited to only the party logo.

Sharing an image of a Malawian ballot paper, the popular priest said almost all the countries in Africa have both the face, and the name of the candidate running for different elections on the ballot paper.

He wrote, “Dear INEC Nigeria,

“Our ballot paper should be like this because in the true sense of it, it is actually the individual with his vice that we are voting for.

“All the elections conducted in Nigeria in the past, the ballot paper just carried only party logos. But it is not the party we vote for that leads us after the elections but the individual.

Popular music producer, Michael Collins Ajereh aka Don Jazzy has announced that his mother departed this earth in the early hours of Friday morning.

She died after an intense battle with cancer.

The Mavins boss made this known to the public via an Instagram post where he stated that he has never written anything more painful in his life.

Irrua Specialist teaching hospital embark on a 5-day warning strike over the incessant assaults on Medical doctors


The Association Of Resident Doctors(ARD) in Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital(ISTH) has decided to go on a 5-day warning strike over the continuous attack on medical doctors in the hospital.

This week, two doctors were reportedly attacked by patients' relatives and the ARD is calling on the management of the Hospital to put things in place to ensure that the safety of the doctors in the hospital is guaranteed.

Before they call off the strike, the doctors have stated that they want the management to start a serious campaign on the consequences of assaulting medical personnel and provide armed security personnel in hospital wards and the environment.

The Doctors also want individuals that assault medical personnel in the hospital charged and tried in court.

The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has reacted to a throwback video of his running mate, Yusuf Baba-Ahmed, calling for the killing of LGBTQ members.

Baba-Ahmed was a Senator when the anti-gay bill was being considered in the Nigerian Senate. While making his own contribution during plenary in 2014, Baba-Ahmed opined that such ''elements'' should be killed in the society.

''Actually such elements in the society should be killed'' he said

Shortly after he was announced as Peter Obi's running mate, Nigerians dug up the video of Baba-Ahmed calling for the elimination of gays.


In a recent interview with a radio station, Peter Obi was asked to react to his running mate's comment which some people found distasteful. He said;

'' 2014 to today is about eight years. But that not withstanding, we all have made comments that we believe in and it is allowed. I for one is tolerant of people's views and their lifestyle. According to man of God Pastor Gbenga Wemimo, a man he healed of cancer gifted him a brand new private jet.

He said;
I ordered my first private jet yesterday. It will take two years to be built and delivered because I wanted it to be brand new. PS: Before you start crying "Pastors this, Pastors that", note that I didn't buy it with my money, I was encouraged to order it by a man I healed at the Gatwick Airport yesterday.

It all happened in a jiffy and as this man was healed of cancer of the leg (he was raised from a wheelchair) He said "You need to be able to reach the world in real time and not wait here at the airport while your flight is delayed for hours didn't ask for it or see it coming, l didn't even know he could afford a private jet because of how he was dressed. I just did the gospel as I have always done. The gospel introduced the life of Jesus to this young man and prompted him to say "I will buy this, just order it".

When I had my First crusade at Ojota in 2018, my biological father saw the pictures on Facebook and the stinker he sent to me was legendary. He said "I paid millions to put you through Bowen University and you have chosen to throw it all away by carrying the Bible and microphone like a beggar?

The words were like strokes on came on my back but I had seen my future in Christ in 2007 and I knew time would convince the world that obeying the Lord is the smartest move for any man.
