Nigeria is not part of the Commonwealth?

Really?

Are you serious?!

Wahala dey o!

grin

P.S I know a Nigerian Orthopaedic Surgeon in the UK Army by the way...

My bad forgot we where part of it..
But that route is next to useless..
Is easier to use citizenship or permanent residency..
I think your mistaken my words for something else..
What are the chances of a Nigerian with no direct connection to the UK get into their army

Wow!

Don't tell me you didn't know Nigeria was part of the Commonwealth?

Wow!

This is serious!

Just listen to your self..
Are we part of the common wealth..
If we are not then where did you see that they are looking for Nigerian doctors in the army

Alaye, don't discourage anybody abeg!

Don't project your own reality on others.

There are over 8 thousand Nigerian Doctors in thr UK alone.

Not to talk of the US.

The UK army was headhunting for Doctors a while back.

She should try Navy Or Airforce, the pay is good?

How much is the pay?
...and for a Job where your chances of further Medical training is slim?

Abeg!

Dude I don't have strength to banter words with you..
The UK army are looking for doctors for their military you couldn't even research before vomiting those statements..
Go and check the UK military unless your from Ireland or a citizen of the common wealth nation you can't join the army unless Nigeria is part of the commonwealth the other means is to have a permanent residency..
Even with that you have to pass the training
And you think all this is easy

i have read about our armed forces, but my brother, even a military guy was suggesting she can go abroad because of nepotism and the treatment that people get in the Nigerian army.
I was shocked.
I was told that there are ways though, genuine ways that we are considering

Truth lot's of nepotism..
No offense but you do know the army is different from airforce and navy..
The army is trash but the airforce and navy are better treated anyways..
For the nepotism well is has never been this bad....
Like I said a non citizen becoming a full member of another country's military hmmmm its possible but the person won't go far until he or she becomes a citizen of that country or have a permanent residence in the country
Well depends on the country you want..
UK and US citizenship and residency..
The Commonwealth route she can try Sha

A Doctor?!

Once she passes exams of those countries, she will serve.

UK army was head-hunting a while back... and they were offering freebies.

I wish it's as easy as most of you guys make it to be.
Advice to the girl..
Try the navy or airforce..
The pay is good
Likely location is a military hospital

This is exactly what my daughter had always wanted, combine her medical practice with a stint in the armed forces.
But with the way our armed forces has been so bastardised, we are trying to get information on how she can achieve that abroad.
Our armed forces is tantamount to suicide mission.
No offense intended o, truth be told

I suggest you read about medical personnel in the military before drawing conclusions..
I don't want to rain on your parade but the chances of your daughter serving in another countries military that she's not a citizen of.. well try your luck anyways

Our Full back Position is up for grab..
Patricia George really need to be fit as soon as possible before the September tournament..

Glory Ogbonna will need to pave way, from 2017 till date she hasn't impressed me at all, How long are we going to keep trying her in that Spot...

Nice one Basco. This game was a good one for the SF. Just wasteful in front of goal. Alozie with the Pepe strike too. Ordega should watch out. Toni's Energy is wow.

What's that nonsense Okeke was doing there though?

Oluehi could have done better for the goal. I see she's barely changed.

She screams at a Defender to mark. No reaction. Goal scored with little reaction from her.

Nice one again, Basco!!

Some players are gonna be dropped

If we get ashielgh into our defense remove some of those dead weights home based players, the falcons will be really strong..
As for ashielgh if she plays for the falcons the publicity will be mad..
Hope before September they can call her

Onyinyechi Zogg born in Switzerland and she plays for FC Zurich
Age:24

Roosa Ariyo born in Finland and she plays for TiPS
Age:26
Position: Striker (Oshoola should watch her back)

The last one is rooting to play for us, she granted an interview to BBC Sports Africa recently, her name is Ashleigh Plumptre of Liechester, she helped her team gain promotion to WSL, and also won their best player of the season.
Age:23
Position: Center back / Right Back

I believe Lebanon/Hezbollah wouldn't make that mistake..
cos Israel wouldn't warn their citizens as they are warning and pampering Gazans but bombing..

I think Israel is just pitying Gaza.. cos who warns his Enemies in the time of war but dropping bombs..? No one does that..

Israeli Armies that warn civilians vs Hamas (Gaza's military forces) that doesn't warn civilians before bombing which among these 2 is bad?

Its Hamas ofcourse..

so why all this hatred for the Israelis

Also men.. see technology at work.. the Iron dome.. e b like computer games... Israelis re 7 much..

Over 1750 Lebanese (Hezbollah fighters was about 500 among this figure) died in the 2006 Hezbollah vs Israel war. Israel recorded around 170 death.

I know there are no winners per say in any war but with this record, Lebanon/Hezbollah will not dear try Israel again.

Israel is usually even kind in killing these people of not, it won't take the time to eliminate the whole Lebanon and Palistian.

You obviously missed the point I was getting at. Ask yourself what Kevel of damage those so called thousand missiles caused with the iron dome working. What did the 1000missiles do?

Compare that to what Israel will do when they retaliate.

Israel know a lot of Hamas and Hezbollah hideouts and meeting place but do not go to attack them unprovoked. Its only in times like this that they target those hideouts and unfortunately there are usually civilian casualties. Normal use of human shield so that they can cry whenever Israel retaliates.

If Hamas had what Israel had they would have wiped them out since.

True..
But in this case isreal is as guilty as Palestine

Then, let them continue. Both have the capacities to attack each other,no need to stop them. When they are tired, both will stop.
Both Hamas and Israeli forces are firing each other. There is balance of power and the world should allow them to fight for the next 30days. I'm sure, they won't like to fight again with the consequences .

But the iron dome can handle 50 to 100 missiles conveniently and before they attempt to fire the remaining 950 to 900 rockets the Israeli air force would have leveled the whole hamas.

Except you think Israel will just sit down and allow 1000 rocket rain on them. We all know that's not going to happen.

Check again hamas launched more than a thousand rockets from yesterday till now..
What do you mean by level the whole hamas,do you think hamas is just starting hamas has been around for a long time and isreal hasn't wiped them out..

Additional Rafales for Egypt

On 3 May 2021, the Egypt Ministry of Defence (MoD) confirmed that a contract for thirty Dassault Rafale fighter aicraft was signed with France.

According to the information, the deal, reported to be valued at USD 4.5 billion, would be financed through a loan to be re-paid over at least 10 years. However, Egypt did not disclose the value of the deal or further details on the split between single-seat and dual-seat fighters.

In February 2015, Egypt signed a contract for the delivery of 24 Rafales, consisting of eight single-seat (EM) and sixteen dual-seat (DM) aircraft. One Rafale EM was lost in April 2019.
