Good evening house. I’m a silent reader and I’ve gained a lot. Thanks to the guru’s in the house.

Please I’m post ITA and I’ve completed my documents and ready for submission but I’ve been struggling with paying application fees. It keeps saying decline. I’ve tried using my GTBANK master card. I need answers ASAP as I have few days to go. Thanks
Try using other banks. Gtbank declined my payment countless times and I used stanbic which worked with ease.

You can write an LOE stating why he doesn’t have his medical ( Probably due to the shut down). Place the LOE in his medical placeholder in the application. Inform IRCC that you will send his medical once you have it. Immediately he is able to do his medical, raise a CSE and send it to IRCc
Thanks alot

Hello, it advisable you write his LOE under yours.

Firstly, there is only one portal for additional information.

Second, you are the primary applicant and it’s your job to explain what they don’t understand to them. And not the accompanying spouse.

In short, you and your partner should sit down and write the LOE together and should be submitted under your own portal.

I hope I made sense.

Hi, thanks for your response. I understand that there will be a placeholder in the application for him to input his documents. In the case of medicals, he doesnt have the report because hospitals are not doing upfront medicals hence he needs an LoE to explain which is what we will put in the medicals place holder. So I need to know how right it is for me to write an LoE that will be going into his place holder...... Any other person who has had to write an LoE for accompanying spouse can please advise. Thanks

It's better to let him write the LOE for himself.
Since he's also responsible for all the documents he's submitting.
Thanks for your response

Please as the primary applicant, do I need to write the LoEs meant to address issues in the accompany spouse’s section on behalf of my spouse or will he write and sign it by himself? I got confused on how to treat this.

Lol. I am not sure there is anything wrong with my question. I am only trying to gain clarity if I need to wait till deadline to submit being that, there’s a possibility that things will be fine before my deadline. I shouldn’t be wrong to look for genuine ways of avoiding additional cost

Hello house, I want to submit my application to avoid paying the new fees that are effectiveApril 30 but I haven’t done my medicals because of the suspension. Can I go ahead and submit and explain that the medicals have not been done because of the suspension due to covid or do I wait for my deadline which is in June?

Please the chartered accountants in the house, did you state your period of membership as members of the institute in you personal history? If not, did you select “not applicable” for the question in the attached photo?

state it how it is cos i'm confused right now lol
lol. Thanks though. I think explaining this to you made me realise what exactly to state being Job A: Dec 2016 to Nov 2017 and Nysc Dec 2017 to May 2018..... the time spent in camp was just 3weeks and irreleavant.

you only served for a month i.e camp. Either omit it completely or use 1 month as per camp. Not everyone served
Thanks for your response. So I did the one month Camp and upon resignation I went back to complete the remaining six months service year.. So Job A duration Dec 2016 to Nov 2017. Nysc April 2017 to May 2018. I did one month in camp in April and den went back in Dec 2017 to continue serving. How do I treat this?

Are you claiming point for it? It's obvious you are not, then why not just put it in personal history.
I am not claiming point for it but I am still required to select either part time or full time, hence my question on whether selecting Nysc as part time is okay.

you can use the duration of the program as the start and end date but for the certificate, it would be a year certificate and diploma and it would be part-time not full time. I hope i was able to answer your question.

You did great thanks alot

use ICAN.

Okay. Do I use one year as the complete/full academic year(s)? Please bear in mind I did 5 diets in total instead of 3 to qualify because I had some resits. When the ask for the full academic year(s), do the mean to standard period of completion of the program or the period one took to complete it?

The name of the institution would be ICAN and the name of the certificate would be AAT.

Thanks, sorry I was not specific. Its for EE profile.

Use ICAN. I believe that’s for WES profile

Its actually for EE profile. WES report shows ICAN as the institution

Good morning all, please in creating a profile, what should be filled under complete/full academic years for ATS and secondly, which institution should be used? SHould it be Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria or Association of Accounting Technicians Scheme West Africa? Thanks
