I just made a withdrawal from Payoneer to my First Bank. First Bank exchanged it at the rate of #385 to a dollar. This is rip off!

My Payoneer can't send yet otherwise I would be using exchangers.

Please do you know how I can withdraw money from PayPal to my card or bank account.

Fiverr closed my account (temporarily), because of verification issue. So, I created a Lesotho Paypal to withdraw my remaining $16 from the account. I successfully transferred it to Paypal, but it refused to be transferred to my bank account. It keeps asking me to link a card or bank account. Thank you

Please do you know if Fiverr will accept this ID?

It was cloned (edited)?

Has anyone used a Fake ID like this to verify successfully on Fiverr?

It's a Nigerian account.

It's accepted, as per my conversation with someone on Whatsapp.

Programming / Re: I Need Someone To Teach Me Hacking by masarauta11(m): 7:45pm On Sep 04, 2020
bassdow:

On a very Basic Term, a Hacker relies on Identifying and Exploiting Loop-Holes already in existence.

Now You can't be a Good Farm Supervisor if you don't know what you're Supervising hence You can't enter a Factory and find a Factory Manager who don't know how to Operate any of the Machines.

It's same with Hacking.

You first need to know how to program or the likes, then know how what you want to Hack Operates, then you go about Finding Exploitable Loop Holes.

Not until them, you're fasting your time.

Anyway You're free to Give out Part of the Money you're Looking for to someone who have almost Zero Knowledge in computer to Teach you Hacking because I doubt you would hear word.

I still Pity most who attend BootCamps and the likes to learn Web Design and the likes; they just are Making Money for those who Created such Industries YET over 80% of them wouldn't achieve anything.

That is how I took my 57k give HiiT in Kano to learn Web Design. I thought we will be taught HTML, CSS and Javascript only, but to my suprise, they add Java, Visual Basic, C# and SQL. At the end I learn nothing. Just waste my time and money.

Can someone use voter's card for the verification?

You can use it if your face is clearly shown on it.

But be careful, if they didn't accept it at first trying, don't go for the second and the third. They will block your account temporarily. IT HAS HAPPENED TO ME

I am waiting to get some money to apply for a passport or driving license.

The minimum is $50

Maybe you can have someone send some funds to topup so you'd be able to withdraw.

Before you do that, ensure that your "make a payment" feature has been enabled.

Okay, thank you

Nairaland / General / Re: Help! Correction Of Data On Voter's ID Card by masarauta11(m): 11:59am On Aug 03, 2020

Someone said I should attach a sworn affidavit of correction/change of name to the ID card, although I'm still vague on how feasible it is.

That is what they asked me to submit exactly two years ago, when I enquired about the process of getting new PVC after I lost my own. It is also the same process for changing name and date of birth.

After submitting, they will check your details in their computer, and note down the corrections you asked for. Then they will give you a slip with your details, and give you a date to come back and check if your new card is available.

Mind you, I yet to get my one.

Career / Re: Why Smart Work Minus Talent Equals An Average Career by masarauta11(m): 12:20pm On Jul 21, 2020
Fastestmanalive:
The poster is actually very right

But if I may add a point, having a successful career is a combination of talent and hard work. None is more important that the other.

IQ , EQ , SQ , AQ

.....According to psychologists, there are four types of intelligence:

1) Intelligence Quotient 0(IQ)
2) Emotional Quotient (EQ)
3) Social Quotient (SQ)
4) Adversity Quotient (AQ)

1. Intelligence Quotient (IQ): this is the measure of your comprehension ability", solve maths; memorize things and recall subject matters.

2. Emotional Quotient (EQ): this is the measure of your ability to maintain peace with others; keep to time; be responsible; be honest; respect boundaries; be humble, genuine and considerate.

3. Social Quotient (SQ)
This is the measure of your ability to build a network of friends and maintain it over a long period of time.

People that have higher EQ and SQ tend to go farther in life than those with high IQ but low EQ and SQ. Most schools capitalize in improving IQ level while EQ and SQ are played down.

A man of high IQ can end up being employed by a man of high EQ and SQ even though he has an average IQ.

Your EQ represents your character; your SQ represents your charisma. Give in to habits that will improve these three Qs but more especially your EQ and SQ.

EQ and SQ make one manage better than the other.

Pls don't teach children only to have higher IQ , but also to have higher EQ and SQ.

Now there is a 4th one :
A new paradigm

4. The Adversity Quotient (AQ):
The measure of your ability to go through a rough patch in life and come out without losing your mind.
AQ determines who will give up in face of troubles and may abandon their families.

To parents:
Expose children to other areas of life than academic. They should adore manual work (never use work as a form of punishment), sport and art .

Develop their EQ, SQ and AQ. They should become multifaceted human beings able to do things independently of the parents.

*Finally*, do not prepare the road for the children. Prepare the children for the road.
Slowly-slowly, I am understanding the meaning of the word Global Village. I just saw this write up on a Whatsapp group, and it's here all over Nairaland.

Sorry for the misinterpretation.

Don't mind.

I myself, still thinking how I caught his attention, while I was just one day old on Fiverr.

May be because I wrote that I am native Hausa speaker. And in his meassage to me, he said he want his project to be executed by a Hausa native.

The order is out of context of my gig. He asked me to do voice-over of Hausa alphabets for him.

Thank you

I know there are funny gigs on Fiverr, but I think yours might be weirdest to me.

First, your introduction is not inclusive. Secondly, how much is the demand for hausa to English, vice versa, translation on Fiverr?

The review you bought from a supposed US buyer that requested for hausa translation, how come?

You registered in June and already got a US buyer to request your service, was the person waiting for you to create the gig all along?

You guys should slow down in buying reviews.

With your gig, which offer will you send in buyer's request page?
Just because my gig does'nt fall in high demand gigs, that means it is not worth it on Fiverr, and I will not get order from a US buyer.
For your own convenience check the pictures below.

Career / Re: find JOBS, get HIRED, get PAID! as a FREELANCER by masarauta11(m): 2:35pm On Jun 19, 2020
Hello Pius!

Thank you for taking your time to teach us how to became successful freelancers.

I am a graduate of Hausa language, currently doing my M.A in Linguistics. And the only skill I know I have as of now, is translation from English to Hausa language and some 70 - 80 words per minute typing skill. With that, I joined Fiverr 10 days ago. Published two gigs, one about English to Hausa translation, while the other one is about typing and editing English, Hausa and Arabic documents.
And I have successfully completed one order (worth $10 + $5 tip and 5stars review) six days ago. Though, it is not part of what I am offering. I record the Hausa alphabets for a US buyer.

My questions are:

1- Do you think these two or three skills were enough for me to be accepted on Upwork?
2- Someone somewhere, advised that a beginner freelancer should stick to one freelancing site, as he can't be able to control all the site, if he start receiving frequent orders. Is that true?

Thank you once again.
Please forgive my grammatical errors, as I am still struggling with correct English grammar.

Dear respected brothers & sisters in Islaam,

Please in honor of Malam Abba Kyari, do not engage anybody celebrating his death. Do not honor those that have no honor & worthiness or return their insult. Our consolation is, death is a debt & nobody is leaving this world alive.

NB: Even if they come to shower the insult under this post, don't respond to them please. Leave the insults there hanging. They will be useful one day. It is like a register. Leave it there. Don't honor people that have no honor.
