But as per the Islamic law I am aware of, one person cannot forgive their relative's killer on behalf of others. All the heirs of the deceased must unanimously agree for the forgiveness to be valid. |
The explosion happened at a steel company, and the bomb was brought from Yobe, in a trailer. Based on this, I suspect that it was sold as a scrap to the scrap dealer, and they brought it to Kano for the company to buy. |
RichBoy247:I sympathise with your father over the fees he spent on your schooling, only for you to become dumber. I am only seeing 6 persons (Muslims) from the core northern states. But you said 90% are 'Almajiris'. How on earth does 6 out of 19 equates 90%? |
“When they tell you not to panic, that’s when you run.” I saw the above statement in a video clip of a movie on Tiktok yesterday. It was a government official telling his wife over the phone to prepare their children and meet him to leave the town, as there is a potential earthquake coming up. But his wife was telling him that their governor is on TV telling people to stay calm and carry on with their activities |
Penguin2:So, using local language is regressing in your linguistically colonized brain, right? That's why in 2006, UNESCO cited Igbo as one of the languages that will go extinct within the next 50 years. Also, a Professor of African and African Diaspora Literatures at the University of Massachusetts, Chukwuma Azuonye said in his paper Igbo as an Endangered Language, published in 2002: "...it is in fact one of the seriously endangered languages of the world. Its endangerment is largely a function of colonial mentality manifested in the so-called receptivity to change that often means loss of identity in every new situation of culture contact." Next time when you think that people are regressive because of using their native languages, think of NDIGBO first. |
I am allergic to heat or anything hot during cold weather. The moment I found myself in a hot environment or eat/drink anything hot/spicy, my skin (especially the upper part of my body) will start itching. Also, I am allergic to fried groundnut and fish during the day hours. Especially when the sun shines brightly. I am developing headache few minutes after eating them. |
How time flies! As if it's yesterday that I was told to report for my current job. 6th of April, 2021. All thanks be to Allah. |
Laughnow419:Have you ever asked yourself why is porn allowed on Twitter, but a big NO on Facebook? This is what they called Community Standard. Each social media company has its policy for using their platform. It's either you abide by it or bear the consequences, or do yourself good and leave their platform. Facebook has more than 10 policies that you are expected to make yourself familiar with as the user of their platform. Have you ever bothered to check what they are? That was how Fiverr closed my seller account 2 times. It was during the second closure that I went to check their policy, and came to know that you can only have one account with them. Once it's closed due to a reason, you can't have another one forever, as they can't trust you anymore with their buyers. |
onyi2k:Thank God for you. I also got a job via LinkedIn. Just like you. A recruiter send me a message that his client is looking for an employee, and he thinks I will be the best potential candidate for the position. The position is in Nairobi, Kenya. And, the company will take care of all the relocation costs(flight ticket, visa, work permit, covid test, 1 month accommodation, and relocation allowance). I agreed, and he submits my resume to them, and the rest is history. I just received my 1st salary yesterday. |
Wike is just saying it because he is not in Pantami's position. I have never heard of a Nigerian raised politician resigned from his post, just because he is being bashed by media and the public. |
See them. No facemask, no social distancing. But, down here they will disturb people with "CORONA IS REAL". CORONA my a**

Please will traveling to another country affect my Fiverr account? |
This is what I got from NYIF, instead of verification email.

Hello everybody, I applied for a language based position in an IT services company in Nairobi, Kenya. Tomorrow Friday will be 60 days since the last time I heard from them. After passing through different stages of recruiting, they sent me a congratulatory email and request copies of my credentials, international passport, photograph, and national ID for a background check. Since then, I have been waiting for their email that includes an offer letter, as they said in my last communication with them. So, I want to know how long does it take a company to finish checking the background of their potential employees, and can I send a follow-up email to them? Thank you |
bluebay:The first one from left. With an attached hair. Held the hand of the one that squats. |
Internetsavvy:Can you please point to the easiest sellable skill someone can learn in short time and earn a good amount of money from it? |
SILENTandSMART2:I once saw a video of a boy on Facebook, rebelling against his mom. The boy blocked his mother from getting to the toilet. Just because he don't want her to flush his shit. He said it's his best friend. |
Sometimes, lawyers are the most corrupted persons than their accused clients. Do you think he faint on his own will? It's on the advice of his lawyer. |

I have heard of a father in Abuja that left his 2 children inside a car, just outside a market, and took a taxi to his home. Upon arrival to home, his wife ask him about the children and the car. It's there, he remembered leaving them at the market. |
okeyglm:Which 280k in the month? The highest salary I ever received was 30k Npower stipend. okeyglm:I have to ask, my brother. Because, I never leave my home apart from university studies and NYSC stuff. And who knows if you will be among the first set of Nairalanders to blame me for not asking, if I came here regretting not seeking enough information before I accept the offer. ![]() By the way, thank you for the reply |
Cousin9999:Thank you |
dep07:Hi! Thank for you suggestions. I have already send them all the information they required before seeing your reply. I don't know wether it's before or after task. Do you mean I have to give them like 30% of whatever I am earning? I was told that life is not cheap there. But, it all depend on your way of living. I am not from a wealthy family, so, I think i can manage it like that. As for the food, I am not that heavy selector, I manage what is front of me. For the annual ticket, it's just a one year non-renewable job. Thank you one again. |
OcVoice:No, they didn't ask for any money. Thank you |
daben1:Thank you |
Stubborn82:Thank you man. I appreciate it |

Bridget001:Do it with caution. My account was permanently disabled, when I tried to verify it with one person. Though, he is well known in the business. I don't know what happened on my account. If you can try him here is his contact: 08036398131. His name is Agene Godwin, he also has a channel on Telegram with name Fiverr Inner Circle. All the best. |
