Are you telling me that the chuches and Mosques burnt down in Jos sometimes on days of worship does not contain people of different political spectrum?
What is the basis of this claim that the crisis in Jos is political?

Look you can continue to live in denial but the facts remain the facts.

The proximate causes of the fight in Jos may be attributed to land, cattles, waters, Air etc. But the fact remains that the fundamental and remote causes of these fights are as old as the history of this country. If we dont address these issues we can never address the mistrusts that exists between us.

These issues include:
1. ill informed Indigene/Settler dichotomy
2. illegal practice of state religion against the provisions of section 10 of the constitution

we can either address these issues or pretend we have higher understandings of the problem while living in denial.

I have been working for a couple of years now and i have not been able to save much from my salary. This has giving me some cause for concern because i basically spend almost all my monthly salary before the end of every month, without having a dime in my account.

Can anyone advice on how to save some percentage of my salary? I presently earn between #80k-150k.

Chei!! My guy u earn btw 80k & 150k for yrs and u'v not saved some thing tangible! Do u realise that d minimum wage in some state is N7000 and these people still survive and support their family.
Now, 1st and 4most how do u see money? If u c money has something to spend then u may never have tangible savings(or free money 4 investment). U should c money as a seed to b planted by way of investment.
U should take minimun of 15% of ur total salary 4 urself as investment fund in a seperate a/c b4 u start making budget on the remaining 75%. Pls don't touch the investment fund until u have an equivalent of ur salary or more b4 channelling it into a viable and well researchd investment.NOTE this i/fund is different from ur regular savings.
U must delay gratification. Buy needs instead of wants. Let PART of ur investment YIELD buy ur gratification. Whatever u want now with good planning u will get it. Is just a matter of tym.
Read books on finacial mgt, investment and entrepreneurship. Keep to ur budget. Avoid places and friends that makes u spend money. Above all pray 4 good health - bcoz health is wealth. To ur success!

I started a barbeque biz 5yrs ago wit less than N3000 and from then till now the biz has turnover more than N10 million. My life and that of my family members have change. I bought a car and got married last yr - all from a tiny seed of N2000+ i sowed. Never understimate power of seeds(investment and small biz ventures) when sowed. When u discovered what u want 2 do, pray and just do it!

Nonsense talk. An excuse 4 bad governance and bad followership. What do u say of india and china - countries repute 2 have large no idols and shrines,yet their economy is doing well 2 the envy of the whole world.
Nigeria is one of the most religious country in the world and i don't think God will be so unjust to punish us 4 the so call sin commited in festac 77. God is faithful and just to 4give if we pray and ask 4giviness. How much prayers should nigeria offer 4 the sins of 77 to b atoned? Instead religion has become bane of our development as a country. A typical nigerian will raither pray and "leave am for God" than to b proactive in activities of good governance, we steal and kill in the name of God, politicians will decieve and misrule the electorate along religion sentiment e.g zamfara sharia.
Sycohancy is of the highest order in nigeria. Most nigerians will call white black just 4 a piece of bread e.g the recently dissolve carbinent. Until we begin to say the truth even if it hurt we are going nowhere. Until we all stand up and ask questions on good governance @ every level of govt (eg SNG) wld will remain like this.
Those who are saying that festac 77 is cause of our problem should rethink bcoz as 4 me i think festac 77 brought forex and structural development like festac town in lagos.

Nigeria is a poor country and one of the easiest way for the youth 2 get out of poverty is thru music and sport. Where will 2face be 2day without is breakthru in music? Probably doing yahoo yahoo or doing one odd job like majority of nigerians where the pay can not pay ur rent.
9ja music is 4 survival while catch fun. It easy the tension and frustration foster on us by our bad govt. The people wnt 2 hear something they can flow wit and not benthoven or mozart dt remind u u'v not eaten ur lunch. Fellow 9ja abroad who think 9ja music is trash: think again!
