Peace? So peace has been restored and people should go about their business like nothing happened? Can't this wakili of a man be arrested? Oh, I forgot he's Fulani. |

We are not same people. Complete ideologies and lifestyles. Different pursuits and goals. This is why a break-up would be nice. Or at the very least, a strict federalism, with quasi autonomous regions. Haircut bikonu ![]() |
This boy has a real problem: attention seeking disorder. |
So when are they seceding na? The earlier the better. A stitch in time, they say, saves nine. |
This people are gradually infiltrating Nigeria, compromising individuals, so-called celebrities and ordinary people alike. They are also behind the same-sex love movie, ife. They are busy promoting their agenda and the govt seems unable, or unwilling to enforce the law. |
They want to replicate what they did in Jos in all parts of the country. People must be watchful. There is an agenda. |
lamentor78:But the man that is mad obviously. It's only a mad man that would place equal value on a human being and a cow. |
One of the most beautiful Nollywood actresses ever. I know it is make-believe and all, but this thing they do in the movie world, trying to make the sex scenes look so convincing, I don't think it's necessary. Just show us the tip of the iceberg, like when they are about to remove their clothes, we will still get the gist. |

This is truly saddening. And to think the war has continued till today. Might not be bullets and bombs anymore, but marginalization and economic/infrastructural sabotage of the east. Has one Nigeria been worth it? |
You will be missed. Wish you all the best. |
They don start. America has finally gone to the dogs. |
Fools take up arms and attack innocent people and govt negotiates peace with them? Peace for what exactly? So that they stop killing people for no reason? Somebody is not telling the whole truth. Meanwhile, had this happened in the east, they would've flooded the military everywhere. They already deployed troops to fish out the ESN but the ESN made them look like fools. |
THE Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, yesterday, gave reason for its refusal to support Nigerian President of Igbo extraction, saying that all the people being prepared for the position are stooges that will be used against the interest of Ndigbo, Biafrans and the Biafra-agitating groups. IPOB also alleged that the people at the fore front of the agitation were people who openly worked against late Dr Alex Ekwueme, at Jos PDP convention for the candidature of the President of Nigeria under PDP in 1999, the brightest chance Ndigbo had for the position. IPOB, in a statement, by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, alleged that what such people did to Late Dr Ekwueme was similarly, done by the likes to Mr Peter Obi, in 2019, when he contested with Atiku Abubakar as running mate, alleging that they conspired and did not support or campaign for Mr Obi despite being in the same political party – PDP, with him. IPOB therefore said that the same people shouting President of Igbo extraction today will turn round to sabotage their own people tomorrow in favour of a non Igbo because of selfish interest. IPOB statement read in part: “We cannot support any person that will kill us. That will mean the end of Biafra emancipation as we know. It is still fresh in our minds what transpired at Jos PDP convention when the late Dr Alex Ekwueme contested for the candidature of the President of Nigeria under PDP in 1999. “Then, the likes of Jim Nwobodo, Orji Uzo Kalu and virtually every other Igbo delegate at that convention voted against him. These Igbo men sabotaged Igbo presidency then, what has changed since 1999 that will make them come out now to shamefully clamour for the same Igbo presidency they publicly rejected in 1999? “Similarly, when Mr Peter Obi, in 2019 was contesting with Abubakar Atiku as his running mate, Governor Dave Umahi and his co travellers in conspiracybusiness did not support or campaign for him despite being in the same political party-PDP. “We are surprised that these people shouting President of Igbo extraction today but sabotaged their own people yesterday think we have forgotten, they also think others will support them when it is their turn. “Besides, if these myopic and self-centered fellows think producing the President of Nigeria will solve the problem of Ndigbo, when Goodluck Jonathan, an Ijaw man from South-South was Nigeria’s President for six years, what did he do for the East in general and Ijaw people in particular? “The same Northern oligarchy that did not allow him to operate freely will still not allow any stooge they may eventually appoint from Igboland to succeed. So, it makes no sense clamouring for what won’t proffer any solution to our problems. “The few major roads built in South East and South South were done not by Igbo man, yet none of these traitors masquerading as Igbo leaders today has been able to compel their slave masters to rehabilitate them. Most of these self-acclaimed Igbo and Old Eastern region leaders are caliphate bred traitors and we cannot trust them.” https://www.vanguardngr.com/2021/01/most-igbo-vying-for-presidency-position-are-caliphate-bred-traitors-ipob/

Professor Banji Akintoye, the Worldwide Leader of Yoruba Global Movement, Ilana Omo Oodua, has urged the Yoruba and the Igbo people to put away rivalry and work together to achieve their ‘deserved destinies’ in the world. The member of the Senate during the Second Republic said the destinies of the two ethnic groups are intertwined as prophesied by the late sage, Obafemi Awolowo. Akintoye said God’s time has come for the Yoruba and Igbo to put together their enormous capabilities and achieve for themselves their true destinies. He spoke on Friday at a webinar with the theme, ‘Yoruba And Igbo Conference: Speaking With One Voice’ organised by the Fatherland Group. He called on the two ethnic groups to stop allowing themselves to be used against one another but to start collaborating for an agenda. His comments came at a time when there are political permutations for Southern presidency ahead of the 2023 general elections. The Yoruba leader further said the civil war was a horrible time in the history of Nigeria, especially in the relationship between the Igbo and the Yoruba ethnic nationalities but called on both parties to dump the past in the garbage of history and work hand-in-hand to realise their destinies. He said, “It has been horrible, it is time for us to turn around and begin to behave like the great nations that we are. We are not fools to be led in the nose, to hate one another, to be constantly pitched against one another, to seek advantage against one another in what is called the federal arrangement and the national cake. It is folly. It is time the Yoruba and the Igbo developed their own agenda of where they want to be and what they want to do and how they can collaborate to achieve their purposes.” Akintoye said some progress has been made in the collaboration between pan-cultural groups like the Ohanaeze Ndigbo and the Afenifere, adding that the Yoruba and the Igbo should stop disturbing themselves on federal character and should not “continue to rival one another for shares in the Government of Nigeria” or the national cake when they can hold their destinies in their own hands. “Sharing from the government of Nigeria is not the destiny of a great nation like the Igbo, it is not the destiny of a great nation like the Yoruba. Developing their own destinies which Ahmadu Bello said we will not let them develop is the quest and it is time they began to do that,” he added. The Alana of Ilana Omo Oduduwa recalled how the late nationalist and statesman, Awolowo, held his wrist one day and told him the Yoruba and Igbo would work together to be free. He reminisced, “Awolowo said, ‘You (Yoruba) and Igbo must work together’. And then he upgraded his talk to something like a prophecy; he said, ‘You and the Igbo will work together, it is the only way you can be free in the world’. It is the only way we can be free in the world. It is the only way we can achieve what we deserve in the world. “‘You and the Igbo must work together’. I am quoting him (Awolowo) as much as I can remember. ‘I am not saying it is going to be easy but I am saying it will be done. You and the Igbo will work together, it is only when you do that that you will achieve your goals in this world, your deserved destiny’.” Akintoye added that God’s time has come for the two ethnic groups to rise and realise their true destinies. “When God’s time comes, it comes. God’s time has come in the lives of the Yoruba and the Igbo nations of Nigeria. And when God’s hand is stretched forth, nothing can bend it. Yes, God’s time has come in the affairs of the Yoruba and Igbo and we better realise it – all of us, young and old, politicians and so on. “This is the time when the Yoruba and the Igbo people must learn to join hands together to put together their enormous capabilities and achieve for themselves their true destinies in the world.” https://punchng.com/stop-rivalry-work-to-realise-your-destinies-now-akintoye-urges-yoruba-igbo/

False. The togetherness can only be strong if it is voluntary, consensual. It is self-deciet to force people against their will to stay, and claim you're united. |

So every death now na covid 19? Immediately vaccines were "approved", 'second wave' covid 19 started raging worldwide with new and deadlier variants 'emerging'. Abeg. This people just want to sell vaccines and rake in huge profits. Nigeria already budgeted 400 billion. Other countries are doing same. This is someone's investment. |
