Depends on what you mean by 'politician'. If by that you mean persons hustling and jostling for governmental posts, then No. Cause you'd have to compromise your Christian values somewhere along the line.

However, there are times God calls a person to occupy some governmental/political posts. In such cases, it must be done His way. Wait on Him, and follow as He leads. If He said it, it will happen as long as you don't 'miss the road' by following your own understanding.
