In 2005, I was in the village in the East at about 8PM. While on the bed with my back against the wall and also pressing my phone, something moved its head forward as it it was trying to sit beside me. I subconsciously assumed it was a lizard but something reminded me that a lizard never goes near humans like the object.

At this stage I had not paid attention to it...

So after my mind reminded me that a lizard does not come near human like it just did, I took a look and saw it was snake. It didn't bite me but just laid its head on the pillow that was beside me...

I ran out in a hurry and called my cousins cos it was a family compound... I spent most of my years in Lagos and so, things like snakes are not my thing. My cousin came out and started looking for it. OMO, like its typical with snakes, we didn't find it and this was less than 5 minutes. I told them it is inside there and there is no way it would be out already.

They pulled the bed and saw it coiled in circle... my cousin hit it with stick and it became unconscious. It was burned that night.

While still reeling in my shock of what I had just escaped, our in law who is married to the daughter of my father's brother's daughter said in their village, they do not kill snakes... especially python.

I just told the man that okay...

well, since that day till today, I do not sleep in that house when I go to the village.

Over 80 percent of the time, they travel for medical reasons. The only action that will make sense is if the president upgrades at least one hospital in Abuja to world class standard where himself can boldly seek medical care always. Anything short of that is rubbish.

I can't remember someone saying any hurtful words to me physically but I can still remember a text message from my Ex.

My EX texted me saying: "........MEN ARE USUALLY HUMBLE WHEN THEY'RE NOTHING AND SHE REGRET THE DAY SHE MET ME".......and I broke up with her coz of that statement even though I never told her!

In addition, I seriously am of the opinion that there are some words that shouldn't be used for some kinda people in one's life no matter how angry you maybe. Imagine someone you've eaten in the same plate, sharing bed space with, or clothes, even shared the bathroom self coming out to say some really painful words to you coz of one disagreement or the other.

To me, it's even better to fight as in real combat with a friend than to exchange some hurtful words that might never be forgotten.

In the first year of my marriage, I was pregnant and had complications, serious one that kept me in the hospital for almost two months. It was ectopic. I eventually lost the pregnancy. My husband's relative who never saw a need to check on me or call all through the ordeal, picked his phone on the only time he did call and he was asking me what I did to the pregnancy. I was pained. Am I too young to get pregnant or did I do it out of wedlock? I couldn't even tell anyone around me what he said. For peace sake, I didn't tell my husband or my mum and sister tending to me on the sick bed. I soaked it in but it was really painful. The same relative wants his son to come stay with me now and I declined. I don't want anymore of his trouble.

Yes please long overdue. This is app is ridiculous and truly a breach of privacy. The app actually saves your name as what majority of others have saved your name as. I once checked my number on the app and saw my name saved a derogatory sexually explicit name that some of my friends call me as a joke. Funny right? Until I lost a business deal just because someone I was trying to do business with was convinced I lied about my name just because truecaller says I'm called something else! I can understand if it pulls the data from the owner of the number but it doesn't and this, in my view, is the main flaw with this app. Why should someone choose to make my name and number available to everyone especially without my permission? Disgrace of an app!
