I guess you and your deluded ilk love the smell of burning flesh.
Wow! What a fun you lot would have in heaven smelling burning flesh everyday.
You go get sense las las. Imaginary hell fire? I pity your soul. Unfortunately, on that divide there is no remedy. |

Masturbation is the devil's chain on your soul. Hate the truth for I all I care, with masturbation, you are heading to hell fire. You can laugh and scorn at the truth. That so many people are into a sin will not make GOD change His mind about the sin and call it good.
If you are into masturbation, go and see a Christian counsellor to help you break free from it. It is a sinful habit that works against your own body and soul.
Getting married does not necessarily get rid of it. I am speaking from encounters with suffering married people who had thought in this line before they got married. Get help now! |

STENON: Yes, you are very right. My immediate younger sister finished from same FUOYE. Her phone was always switched off due to poor electricity to charge phones and it prompted me to visit her hostel in 2018 due to family concern about her safety.
I planned to spend 1 month with her to really understand what her problem was all about, but left after two weeks of not sighting electricity, I couldn't just stand the students lifestyle at Oye Ekiti, always moving from one house to another shop searching for generator to power my phone. Really, those FUOYE students are really going through hell. Everything is damn too expensive!! Poor school infrastructures, shortage of lecture rooms, very expensive to take bike to school, no school bus or campus shuttle, no transformer or light, insecurity, high crime rate like stealing most especially at charging points and hostels, poor network, wrecked road, no photocopy machine on campus except you come to the main town, no school shuttle bus and expensive school hostel/offcampus accommodation .... after paying huge amount of money for school fees.
Naso I left my sister after 2 weeks and took the horrible gist back home... Is this a school or an abyss? No photocopier on campus? They should shut it down and sell it off for farming. Rubbish! |

people like pastor adeboye and others should volunteer their jet to help Nigerians in xenophobia country return home... I know you don't have commonsense. Until you drag the church into it, your brain won't function normally. Are you talking about the private jet you bought for him or the same jet for which you daily criticize him? It is his private property! He uses it as he pleases! Get your one and send it to SA to do the job of the Nigerian government. The church is not the cause of your failures and endless ordeal. The church does not manage the resources of the nation. Redirect your frustrations appropriately.

dont8: But you'll agree with me that that doesn't just justify the killlings perpetrated by the security agents, no matter how provocative they might have felt.
Not defending them, just stating the obvious.
You're right with your assertions, but killing them out-rightly is the not the way to go about it, I belief there's a better way our security can apply force in this type of situation. Pick up rocks and hurl them at security officers on duty, then you (maybe your ghost) can come back to tell us the story. |

Elvis1331: if person throw you stone, go kill the person. Civilian to civilian example doesn't make sense here. These are officers drafted to an area to maintain law and order. Do you expect them to run away, or watch sheepishly as the youths assault them with rocks? You don't understand security rules. I acknowledged earlier that their reaction might have been excessive, but the youths have themselves to blame. You don't see fire and run inside expecting the cool of a swimming pool. |

Kanade21: 1Rubber bullets can cause severe injuries which can lead to death too.
2.A stone can cause injuries that can lead to death(and note that the cops deployed here very likely don't have adequate helmets).
3.Assaulting a police officer is illegal under the law.
4.Why are you defending uncivilzed behaviour by the mob.?? Do you prefer rule of anarchy to rule of law?? Thank you for enlightening him. I just did exactly the same in my little way. People need to realize that it is both illegal and irrational to attack a security officer on duty. He reserves the inalienable right to defend himself no matter the cost. You attempt to cause severe injury on an officer on duty, and you expect him to watch idly or run away when he has a means of subduing your threat? Nigerians should learn to respect the security forces. They need reforms, we know. But they also deserve some respect in view of their abysmal working environment and the poor unavailable tools that they are forced to work with. |
Crime › Re: Two Shot Dead By Mobile Policemen In Shiroro LGA, Niger State by mastermaestro(m): 11:25pm On Sep 08, 2019 |
dont8: What a logic, you are as barbaric and backward as those security agents you're defending.
Whatever happened to rubber bullet! Swallow this your grammar. You don't invite fire and expect to get water. Rocks can result in fatal injuries if properly aimed at a target. You don't assault security agents on duty call. I am sure you wanted the security agents to have left the place for the youths for overrun. No, it does not make sense. I admit that we have a security force that seriously needs reforms. But let us apportion blames where they belong. In this case, the youths goofed. The officers may have taken an extreme measure, however, it falls within self-defence. Unfortunately sometimes, self-defence can be fatal to the attacker. |
Christianity Etc › Re: The Bible Does Not Support Drinking Alcohol, Don't Let Anyone Fool You by mastermaestro(m): 5:46pm On Sep 08, 2019 |
alBHAGDADI: The Bold part is where your problem lie, lazy reader. If you had read the entire write-up, you would have seen that the Bible speaks two kinds of wine: Fruit juice and alcoholic beverage.
Paul didn't advice Timothy to take alcohol. It was fruit juice he advised. Telling Timothy to take alcohol is the same as going against the Book of Proverbs 23:31 that says we shouldn't even look at alcoholic wine not to talk of drinking it, regardless of the amount.
Now, go back and read the OP again, Mr personal encounter with God who throws away the word of God just to operate based on his own conscience. What makes you believe that a rascally and hedonistic generation will hear you? As a mature Christian, there are things you don't discuss with blind pagans, and babyish church goers. Alcohol is a sin. Those who want to argue should take it else where. Only a person who is not filled with the HOLY GHOST needs to be told this. Sadly, many believers in today's church are empty vessels seeking fun and party music in Christian gatherings. |
