Very correct and they USA keep going to China to beg China to buy USA bonds lol.
They keep sending officials to China to save them from the imminent economic disaster.

They still think they're in 2008 when china saved them from the global financial crisis.

For those who call the u.s almighty, I'm certain that propaganda has eaten really deep into their brains.
If nothing can remind them of China, COVID should be a case study. COVID made a lot of folks understand that China is quietly the number one in the world.

NATO is stronger than ever. All NATO countries have just resolved to up their defense budgets significantly in order to aid Ukraine.

It's common sense to everyone that Ukraine cannot be admitted RIGHT NOW to NATO as that would essentially be a confirmation of world war which no one wants.

But what every single democratic country in the world is united and aligned to is for now inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia.

Russia losing the war in Ukraine will be the ultimate humiliation for it. Because the only significant claim Russia has in the world today is of it being a military power, a legacy 0f it's Soviet years. But if that "military power" cannot defeat it's next door neighbor, everyone sees it for what it is. A old rust remnant of an empire. A paper tiger. Looking good on paper while actually being significantly powerless.

So no big deal here. Ukraine will eventually be in NATO even by the end of next year when Russia has been defeated.
If truly NATO is not a paper tiger and is more powerful than ever, why are they holding back?
If i go by your statement, Russia is more powerful than Ukraine and they invaded Ukraine. Since NATO is more powerful than Russia why didn't they invade Russia?

Is it not mind boggling to compare an organization of over 30 countries to Russia militarily, why don't you say Lithuania will invade Russia since Russia invaded Ukraine?
or is Lithuania not a powerful NATO member?

Let me reiterate it again 'the u.s is the only country that can stand toes to toes with Russia militarily in NATO or globally'. This statement might be changed in the future because the u.s is already running low on munitions in a proxy war with Russia and that's very funny.
It's even funnier if we look at the second most powerful member of NATO the UK.
To put this into context, The current fighting force of the Russian federation in Ukraine is more than triple the entire British army and that's less than 20% of the Russian armed forces.
I like the fact that you acknowledged Russia as a military power, but Ukraine joining NATO by the end of this year is hilarious.

I've followed this war right from the beginning, i even read books and articles concerning this war and i can tell you Ukraine will never join NATO.
If this war last for a decade I don't think anything will be left unturned in Ukraine.
Russia has been telling the u.s that Ukraine is a red line but they didn't listen.
I bet the u.s is already in regrets for meddling in the issue because they're losing something already, the dollar and their hegemony.

Putin is not lenient, what Putin (and Xi) are doing is killing Western imperialism slowly. Within a space of one year, look at what has happened to the US empire.

1. Global de-dollarisation has been kick-started. The more the war prolongs, the West will act completely irrationally and break its own rule (eg supplying cluster bombs to Ukraine), deplete its weapon reserves (which already happened), and waste money on a war that further destroys its empire.

2. Chinese needed American hands tied for a long time, so they can focus on destroying Western hegemony in Asia. You already see it with the China-Saudi romance, the peace brokered between Iran and Saudi, the Central Asia Summit that took place in Xian, and all the countries that have started trading in their own currencies, and it will get worse as the war prolongs.

3. The US is officially broke now. Jellen just landed in China to beg the Chinese to buy US bonds. A few weeks ago it was Blinken that traveled to China, and a few weeks before that it was Lloyd Austin begging China to open military communication Channels.

4. China has started flexing its diplomatic muscle, and the world has recognized it as a fair power. They are in the process of establishing peace between Israel and Palestine, just like they did with Saudi and Iran.

5. BRICS have been strengthened, and seen by the global south as a safe bloc to join, away from Western imperialism. Iran just officially became a member of SCO.

So, bros, war is not just winning on the battlefield. Ukraine was just a symptom. The real war this world faces is Western imperialism, and that is what has to be destroyed. The Chinese are working. Give them time. The world has changed for good.

You see that Chinese political slogan of ¨common prosperity¨, it will reach all of us.

You have done a good job in teaching/informing folks about Western hegemony on Nairaland. Well done. That said, what do you think about the proposal? Why China, why not India Or Japan? What are the implications should China buy US bonds? What happens if China refuses to buy them? Any similarity with the Plaza Accord that decimated Japan's economy?
It was because of China that made the u.s and the world at large recover from the 2008 financial crisis.
Now the u.s economy is about to hit a stumbling block so they need a bailout for the Chinese just like in 2008, i bet this time it'll not come.

Shut up and stop talking trash my fren! When were u born? Who told u Russia can win a conventional war? How many conventional wars has Russia won without use of WMDs??

U think a conventional war is just about ammunition? There’s logistics, man power, sea power of which the US has the highest number of aircraft carrier, there’s also finance which means the economy has to be so good to maintain the war for a very long time

The only way Russia keeps maintaining her dominance is nuclear threats and that’s because they know they can’t win a conventional war. Even China without any war experience will drill them in a conventional warfare?
I don't have time to lecture you on anything, i thank God that the rus didn't suffer millions of losses in WW2 without matching into Berlin.

The last time i checked, Russia has fought many wars and has never used WMD's on any nation.

Foreign AffairsRe: How USA Armed The Taliban To Fight The Soviets by Masterviolence(m): 6:15pm On Jul 10, 2023
mysticwarrior:
The Soviet invasion of Afghanistan coincided with the code war between the USSR and the USA. Both nations engaged each other in a proxy war fought in different countries. The Americans took revenge on the Soviet after the USembarrassing defeat by Soviet backed north vietnamese forces, by supplying the mujahideen weapons to fight against the Soviets, a motive which later hunted the US and gave them their worst nightmares.

During the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan the US trained Osama bin laden and other mujahideen and gave the suitable weapona such as the stingers to down Soviet helicopter gunships. Osama bin laden whom the US supported later turned against the US and stabbed them in the heart when he sponsored the 9, 11 attack.
To add salt to the injury, the same mujahideens that the u.s and allies sponsored against the Soviet created the Talibans that became an headache to the u.s.

After spending over 2trillion and 20years they ran home only that this time they dealt with the u.s alone without external support from Russians.

Lol. did I say God isn't real

As for Ukraine not joining NATO, it will surely happen, they've been pushed to the wall
Which wall?
When Russia, their elder brother was telling them that what they were doing is wrong and there are repercussions they didn't listen, they believed in the reassurance from the west in armaments and Intel.

The reason Ukraine still have a voice to speak is because there is no Stalin-like president in Russia.

Putin is just so lenient, they should thank God for that because they would've been bombarded from the surface of the earth if Stalin is the current president of Russia.

I agree with Biden, the timing is wrong.

At least this war should be over before any of such discussion, but what can Putin do if Ukraine joins NATO now? Nothing

I salute the unwavering support of the Biden administration for Ukraine, the invaders should pull out and go back home.

Putin should be more concerned about the cracks in his government, he won't survive another mutiny.

The invasion of Ukraine has further enlarged NATO with Finland membership and Sweden very soon, so what's the point of this senseless war? it has turned counterproductive.
Stop consoling yourself grin

There are two things that are real:

1. God is real whether you like it or not

2. Ukraine will never join NATO whether you like it or not.
Foreign AffairsRe: Ukraine's Bid To Join NATO Is Premature - Joe Biden by Masterviolence(m):

Premature

All this noise will not be heard after that summit in Lithuania.

Ukraine joining NATO is all but a dream, there's a reason over 30 countries don't want to go to war with Russia.

Alone, no country can win a war against Russia conventionally, yet Ukraine decide to fight against them for an outsider.

The pace of this war was decided in the beginning by Putin and Russia, because taking over Ukraine in the beginning would've been a grave mistake for the Russians, a burden too heavy to carry.
Also killing while fighting against your own people is easier said than done.

The phase of this war now is for Ukrainians to go to the Frontlines and die.
