For every inch you give to this "Ishaq Akintola and his 100 rabbid dogs" group of Arab-wannabes, the more emboldened they feel to displace our live-and-let-live way of lives!

You better say Ipob and obidients who are minority that could only grant 3rd position to Obi truely want him. To them now, they are wise in their own senses using perforated logic that couldn't stand test of time. When obidients supposed to do their assignment well in the court, they failed woefully to even proved how they won and if INEC reduced Obi score, but now when judiciary result is about to come out; they keep wasting more of their money and time doing psycological and emotional bribing of judges. If all these kekerenkes and emotional actings couldn't carry obi pass 3rd position, is it now it will work when you failed to do needful at court? Waste of more resources!
The resources are not yours, so why crying over it

Maybe they should have given you the cash to help your suffering life that tinumbu has put you in.

Even the Basketball team that won the tournament Tinubu never meet with them.

That's not to mention Super Falcons who crashed out in the R16 to 10-women England angry

If they want to meet with the President, they should win something first or atleast reach Semi Final.

By the way, somebody should tell Super Falcons that football is not about muscle and running up and down. It is about tactics and strategies. Not just pass, shoot and insha Allah.

Politics › Re: Nigerian Senator Vs Minister: Who Is Higher? by maticar: 8:30pm On Aug 17, 2023
HenryTimes:
Politics is not about the pocket, it is a call to serve. The op is not asking who will be a bigger theif.

A senator can only be removed through a recall by his constituents which usually is very difficult but a Minister can be sacked without a notice.
A minister is bigger in terms of portfolio

This is common sense actually but It seems difficult to comprehend here.

Some are super ministers and very close to presidency, same can't be said of the senator

The minister wields more powers too, unlike the senator who has to pass through votes to get his desire
Politics › Re: Nigerian Senator Vs Minister: Who Is Higher? by maticar: 8:25pm On Aug 17, 2023
Can a senator represent the president?

But a minister can represent the president in official capacity.

All of you just capping and talking about money as a yardstick....too bad huh

Well, I've managed to stay afloat since 2015 but it just got worse. Worst still is that the owner of the store wants to sell it, so I was told to buy it or move out.

I'm a graduate(2015) and I started the business with my savings from NYSC but it's all gone now. I'm losing my mind right now

Bayelsa State is a homogeneous Ijaw State and has lots of Oil and Gas reserves. Although their population is one of the smallest, they contribute one of the highest to Oil revenues and they are one of the least developed. More needs to be done to improve the lives of ordinary Bayelsans.

And to the clown that says 95% of Gas reserves are in Igboland, he needs to remember that propaganda does not get you anywhere. Igbos have little natural resources hence the limited investments in that region. Even Igbos have to leave their states in order to make progress.
indeed you are too noisy and a pesky mosquito

go and make your research and find out highest gas reserves by states.

you clowns are chief of propaganda but blame everyone else

I want to see his work in Zamfara state where few people are dominating the Gold resources in the state. I don't know what the federal govt is doing and allow just a few people to make money in gold. I believe if the federal government can take over the gold resources in the state, the atrocity of the bandit will reduce in the state
his work there is to join in the loot also.

solid minerals especiallly in the north are not being accounted for and even the chinese are having a field day.

so its actually a juicy opportunity for him
Career › Re: Is It Right To Give My Company A Week Resignation Notice by maticar: 11:53am On Aug 17, 2023
winnah:
Good morning family, I never felt the need to do this, it's not like I don't know what else to do. I just need your opinion.
Am currently a Branch manager of one of the biggest indigenous retail company (supermarket) in the country. Some group of Indian investor bought over my company... And I was transferred to Abakaliki to open our new branch. my relationship with the new owners I won't lie, is great..
My net monthly salary now is 110k, I have an official car and I live in the company's quarters.
There's no hope for salary increment. In the next 10 years am not sure of getting to 200k. My fiancee is in pH, and we are hoping to get married by next year.. this places a lot of demand to increase my income so I can afford to take care of my family.

However, I have an offer with another retail company in pH with salary of 200k. The company has promised and increment upon my confirmation. I went for the interview yesterday.. when they saw my experience and everything in my CV they became anxious to bring me in... So they asked how much am expecting I told them 200-250k and they settle at 200k. Right they, the chairman asked HR to give me offer letter and that I should start with immediate effect. My pain now is that,
First ; according to the HR their budget for the position was 300k.. now I've short change my self.. I feel so bad.

Secondly; I don't know how to present this to my MD, how do I tell them am leaving.. and the notice seems short. As I met him yesterday with a lot of expectations and target from me, just don't know how to communicate it to him. How I wish they can offer me this amount. Is two weeks enough to do handing over...
two weeks is short

you can forfeit the month's pay though and move on

fergie001:
What that guy explained to you is 101% the fact.

The President wants Wike where he always will be seeing him. He knows Wike needs that influence and want him where he can know his ins-and-outs.

The FCT Minister is like the 'Governor' but only carry out activities as been delegated to. He still has that influence though, because virtually all politicians have Abuja as their next home but he is within a confined space.
at least SIM, the rivers governor can breathe a little now
