Well, the statistics was based on percentage, not figure. The number of educated Nigerians exceeds many of those countries that made the list. But because of the very high number of uneducated Nigerians ( mostly from a particular region in Nigeria), the percentage would be low.

I notice goats eat anything in Lagos.

My granddad's goats back in the days do not eat just any leave/grass.

If we go and fetch some grasses that are not on their menu list, they will sure bleat until you are forced to go back to the bush and get their food.

Those were "ajebutter" goats. They were fussy and choosy back then. Today, all the goats are now "ajepako". They eat anything they can digest like yam peels, banana peels, orange peels, cartons, certificates(I'm sure they ate Bu**ri and Ti**bu's certificates), and even eat cigarette filters. The economy is biting them too

Let's get these facts straight.

1. A full grown male lion cannot deliver a quick death to a full grown hyena. It would take more than 5mins for such to happen. Unless the lion is experienced enough to grab the hyena by the neck and snap it. That seldom happens.
2. The combined strengths of 5 full grown hyenas exceeed any full grown male lion
3. Lion's personality is not the same in every lion. Level of aggression, size, tawniness varies. Like for example, lions in the Ngorogoro crater and Serengetti are bigger, stronger, much more aggressive than lions in other regions like the Mara, Luwanga, and so on.

Now back to the topic. Those hyenas are less defiant though. But then, you would wonder why these 20 or more hyenas can't simply lunge at the lion at once since their combined strengths exceed the lone male lion. Well, hyenas are a lot much smarter/intelligent than lions. They know too well that if they collectively stood their ground or attacked the male lion at once, the lion would lose the fight. But there would be a price to pay. One or two or three hyenas would be the unfortunate ones the male lion would deal heavy fatal blows(bites). No hyena is brave enough to draw close and be that sacrificial scapegoat. That's the reason they scamper whenever the male lion comes into the scene. The lion also instills fear in their mind with his brute aggression and roaring.

That shouldn't surprise anyone. Cartons are made from pulps. Pulps are made from woods. Woods are obtained from trees. Trees are plants.

And yes, goats are general eater of anything made of plant.
