House, my piece of advice to prospective UK students.
If you are coming to the UK as a student and wants to join a whatsapp /Facebook/telegram group. Please try and verify or better still join the one created by your school.
Before coming to the UK I joined one whatsapp group created by one Nigeria who was already at the school that I was heading to. Infact he was educating us on how to fit into UK system and many other things. Then he later advertised an accommodation for prospective students. That was where I made a big mistake by trusting him.
To cut the long story shot . When I landed in the UK, he gave me direction to his place and later picked me at the bus station, took me to his house and collected a two months (October and November) upfront rent of £980 . My first two months was like hell, accommodation that never existed. I had to identify a Pastor of a nearby church who assisted me to confront the guy. That was how he promised to refund the money.
Hmmmm but till date he was only able to return only £180
So please be careful with people you meet online during this japa . Know the person before going to meet him. Though sometimes one can still meet Good ones but my experience wasn't funny.
I decided to give this advice because I am seeing a lot of prospective students asking of whatsapp links . Verify before you join.

It's not true. South can unite. 1999 Presidential election , Ojukwu was among contestants for President under APGA but South East voted for Obasanjo's PDP twice. Then voted for Yaradua /Goodluck because Obasanjo was fair with the region in appointments.
South East rejected APC because APC wasn't fair with the region if which you know.

You have a point. But if South had still united North can't win again in any election. Because Middle belt is no longer with them. Tarzana and Plateau no longer with them. So the only problem South had was disunity.

In the US, power shifts very often if not all the time from the Democrats to the Republicans and vice versa. Is it because of bad governance? Bring heaven down to earth if you can, you still need people on ground to sell your candidacy when elections come by because even your success can be used to criticize you especially when there are many who are undecided.

How do you sell your candidacy. It runs same way in the 🇬🇧. Not by its your turn to rule.

And that is what you don't understand. Persons make a people and persons start with a person. A governor is a PERSON who has PERSONS that can bring in the required numbers(PEOPLE) in an election, especially a presidential election where just %25 is required.

Jakande once said "if a politician governs well in the previous tenure, he or she doesn't need to campaign for re-election because his good works will campaign for him".
To me that's how you bring people. Not forcing and buying people's conscience.
