Yes it has.

I’ve also seen some cases where you’ll get the vignette on your passport and no visa letter.

I don’t think there’s need for you to be scared as long as you did not get a refusal mail.

Maybe they forgot to affix the sticker in your passport.

Best thing is to follow up with the paid email.

I don't think this is true. I think America does as good a job, if not better, as their European counterparts. And the Europeans don't receive pro level coaching at a young age, because academy coaches can't really be called high level coaches, and thus you won't find them getting jobs in the big leagues. I believe the dominance of the US in basketball is due largely to the system they run. Apart from a select few, how many foreign NBA players actually started playing basketball at a very young age? Embiid himself did not play basketball until he was 15. Giannis started playing meaningful basketball at age 13. Jokic was about 10 or 11 when he began to develop interest. Compare that to Luka who started playing actively at 8 and you can see why he was already an MPV type player in his second year in the league. Now you look at their American counterparts you'd see that they started playing at a similar age to Luka or even younger. Kobe started playing at age 3. LeBron started at 9 but that's because he was already actively playing football before then.

Most European really just stumble upon basketball by chance. It's an afterthought to them, except for a select few like Luka. But in America they seem to be deliberate about it, and that's because of the system that's already in place.

As long as your chest is recorded as normal and no Tb detected, then you’re fine.

But if you don’t mind spending the N8500, then you can go and change it at IOM.

A lady called me from the UKVI office number starts with +27 ...when I saw the number I knew it was from them and I was in a bus so everybody was listening to our conversation...fear no let me reject the call...there is a case were an applicant was denied as he was inaccessible...the questions were like
(1). What is the maiden name of your spouse?
(2). She asked about were I will be staying in the UK nd I explained the address I used was the address of my school
(3). Were will you quarantine when you get to the UK ? I answered by saying "in the hotel"....next I heard was whao.... although I think Nigeria students are not expected to quarantine...

Failure to attend an interview requested by an entry clearance officer without providing a reasonable reason is an automatic ground for refusal.

You don’t want to get a “not-straight forward” mail simply because you added a document that wasn’t asked and needs to be verified.

Ukvi will advise you on the next step after getting the not straight forward mail. Sometimes you can be called for interview and sometimes they won’t call you. I’ve seen cases where folks get the deferred complex mail and still got their visas even without a call.

In the meantime, do your homework and prepare for interview.

You have two options.

- Send an email to IOM asking for a change of date.

- Go and do the TB test with an expired passport but then he’ll have to pay N8,500 to change the passport info on his TB certificate when he gets his new passport.

- No, you can’t just show them the screenshot on your phone. You need to print the screenshot and take it with you to IOM else you won’t even be allowed entry at the gate.

Boss, it's so unfortunate you break an obvious rule your payment and completed online application form before pof 28days is not good, I just wish you can cancel and reapply if possible, because your pof is not up to 28days. Nonetheless, Please try get others opinion and let's see how it can be fixed.

@justwise ,Scooby and others what can he do?, This forum is very informative, you will see people mentioning it over and over the importance of this 28days pof before application. I also got some info from a reliable source that if you apply before your pof is matured is an automatic refusal. (My opinion)

The only option is to cancel and request for your full refund then apply again.
