Great idea. I have thought of this before, the only bit I didnt include was the "online resume" thing. I thought more along the lines of having a site like guru.com where the employer (whoever needs a job done) can choose among the various programmers based on their recommendation/past jobs and their cost. I will be interested in contributing ideas if you want to take off with the project. P.S> When I wanted to do this earlier in the year, I searched, and I didnt find any such NIGERIAN site. But maybe one was developed yesterday? |
@Scantee: Good, man, very good. Have a superb day! |
@OP: Whichever programming language you begin with, make sure it's Object-oriented, that way it will be easier to delve into procedural languages. I started with procedural and had a helluva time trying to get a grasp on OOP. Cheers. |
Try what Scantee said above. If it doesn't work, then maybe your windows explorer has stopped running. follow the below instructions: Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, start the Task Manager and under the Applications tab, click "New Task" and type explorer there. Click OK. |
@OP: This was ought to be posted in the Romance forum, and not "Dating and Meet-up Zone". Great write-up! ![]() |

Evil communication corrupts good manners, you know? |
Words can kill, sticks & stones can only injure the body; and also in the latter category is any of the numerous atomic bombs |
mavenbox:Game on, we can do this, lets bridge the game, you and I SeanT21:Fun times are still here, SeanT21, you know its love we've got for you! |

Breakfast, I regurgitated yesterday's dinner and re-swallowed. Ex-Lax medicine did the trick for me. Lunch, i remembered that people are suffering in war-torn African countries so out of sympathy I felt their pain and shared THEIR lunch. Nothing. Dinner, i took kulikuli (protein) and garri (carbohydrate), with groundnut oil (lipid) to make tomorrow morning's regurgitation easier . [Repeat daily]

**Sits down to enjoy DRAMA** |
I learnt never to add sugar to garri before adding water, because it will not swell to the maximum extent. But that was in boarding school. My mum went to heaven when I was really young. |
@Amaka https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-345935.0.html That's the story (last paragraph of my first post) about I and Alice. I am sure you will read in between the lines. |
THE-AMAKA:LOL it DID last. (if you want to know the koko of the matter, you may need to read another thread where I posted the details, I cant start repeating it here.) |
THE-AMAKA:Yeah its me and my girlfriend (okay, ex-girlfriend, but at the time she was my GF). But that was much earlier in the year. What is interesting about it? You know Alice? |

ANTIDISESTABLISHMENTARIANISM is just a long word you are trying to use to kill this game! |
mevisbleek:It's you who wants to get Hot, I reckon. Soon you will be as Hot as these two women ![]()
|
@Amaka: If you go on this way, you will just get a Nairaland-induced hypertension. LOL. trust me. Im newer here than you are, but I already know how things work whenever you have a mixpaste of Nigerians from every nook and cranny of the nation, thanks to the blessed NYSC experience 2 years ago (everyone here who has been through NYSC will understand what I mean, they are probably the ones who are rarely insultive on the forums). You ALWAYS have to be politically correct. But it seems instead you always want to be right. ![]() @Kanye West: Ima let you finish, but the real Kanye West did much worse to Taylor Swift than you have done to The Amaka. ![]() Pataki:Yeepa! I am laughing in pidgin Aramaic! |
Kokomansion show, as boring as it was, was much more fun that this dying game that needs to wake up |
Demons have been done in Nigeria, thanks to Rita of the Kokomansion! |
