Ken4Christ: Jesus said they are things that must surely come to pass. Your unbelief will not stop it. One day, you will stand before the Great White Throne judgement. And if your name is not found in the book of Life, you will be thrown into the Lake of fire. It was better you were never born than to experience that terrible place. It will be forever and ever. What are the things that will come to pass? It will be better if you were not born, than been born and wasting your life away with Jewish and greek mythologies. I already told you to look up the Greek word of "eternal", what a Pity lol |

Ken4Christ: Sure. It's liquid fire. Hell is heaven compared with Lake of fire because they have period of rest in hell. But in the Lake of fire, you will be swimming in liquid fire for the rest of your life and at the same time in unbearable torment. So what happens in Gehenna(hell)? And what did Jews know "lake of fire" as in their language. |

They knew that Gehenna means hell? Which Jewish traditions says it is? Quote the verses that shows that Gehenna was hell in old testament. Do they also know that Sheol means hell? Kindly show me the references... |

HISSCRIBE1995: I would be better than an atheist who believe there is no God ,because there would be no judgement upon me if the case be as the atheists believes, but not so for all atheist if it be that there is God ,and of course -there is God. Don't gamble with your eternal destiny! So your issue with atheists is because they don't worship any gods or because they don't worship the Christian god? If it is the latter, then your concern should be about non-christians and not atheists. Not all creator gods require their creations to believe they exist or else they will be damned/burnt/condemned etc. |

Ken4Christ: Sure it was. Answer my question. Is that a parable?
Hell is a compartment at the center of the earth shaped like a woman. It was the body parts that every woman has.
It has mouth, legs, hands, belly etc. Jonah went to the belly. Jesus went to the heart.
After hell releases all it's inmate, hell itself will be thrown into the Lake of fire. So, there is nothing hard to understand about that. So lake of fire is different from hell? |

Ken4Christ: Jesus used Gehena figuratively for the Jews to understand what he meant but he wasn't referring to the valley of hinnon. Because he said that the fire is never quenched and the worms do not die. So what happens in valley of hinnom and what was it known for before Jesus reference it? So which Jewish person in Jesus time and Now, takes Sheol and valley of hinnom as Greek hell. |

But on the portion which talks about God creating out of nothing. Please note that creatio ex nihilo (creation out of nothingness) is not the only precept of creation. There is also creatio ex materia (creation at out of some pre existing material) and creatio ex deo (creation from God's very own substance) It's just for the context of what I an saying, that everything has always existed. Ken4Christ: I never said Jesus didn't mention Gehena. But in some other illustrations pointing to the same place of torment, he used other terms so the reader who honestly wants to learn will clearly understand what is being taught.
For instance, if hell simply means the physical grave that we know, it sounds foolish to make comments like;
1. The Gates of hell. Do physical graves have gates?
2. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Do lifeless body weep and gnash their teeth.
3. As deep as hell. Do you use a grave that has a shallow Dept as a reference for depth? Even the deep ocean was not used. Because hell is far deeper than the deepest ocean.
4. The scripture says that the wicked shall be turned into hell - Psalms 9:17. If hell means grave, is it only the wicked that goes there?
5. Cast into hell or thrown into hell. Do you throw people into graves. Death bodies are gradually lowered into Graves. They are never thrown.
Check my thread on the differences between hell and grave for more information. bro, gehenna does not mean grave,, sheol means grave, stop conflating the 2. the bible never used 'HELL', only later TRANSLATION ignorantly translated these terms to "hell". Also i am an a-theist. see a fellow christian like you. just try to read it https://medium.com/@BrazenChurch/hell-a-biblical-staple-the-bible-never-actually-mentions-c28b18b1aaaa |
