Your technician is right let him go ahead to do the job. If all wiring down to the alternator and to battery are ok and there is no voltage drop. Get a good alternator. Recommended amperage rating is what you should go for |
yinkkistic:A low pressure compressor can cause that. But just have it @the back of your mind that there is a leakage somewhere. Leakage needs to be traced first. Get a proper diagnosis done first. Finally if leakage is fixed make sure the system is free of air before introduction of refrigerant. Use original refrigerant. Guage refrigerant to specification and use right compressor oil. To fix your ac call multi autolab if you are in lagos on 08156087872 or 08165520837 |
A lot of things can cause that. Your service engine soon light must be on. If it is pls run a more comprehensive scan, if you are in lagos and you need to fix the problem, call 08156087872 or 08165520837. |
Fake refrigerants has always being one of the major problem of car ac. It is also important to vacuum the system and use the recommended compressor oil in the right quantity. Most compressor oil out there are mineral oil which in the end causes more havoc to the system. If you need to fix your ac and vacuum the system and you are in lagos Call multiautolab on 08165520837 or 08156087872. Bbpin is 7BE1C522 |
1st which your hand is pointing to is the map sensor which is used to measure thr amount of intake air that goes into the engine which inturns if the ecu gets right value from it would be used to determine actual fuel injection Second is the throttle position sensor which is used to determine the position of the throttle valve located in the throttle body. They are both conmected to sensors. A better picture would make me tell which sensors they are connected to |
Your ride is obd1 you would be needing an obd1 scanning device. Might be difficult though but can be achieved. You could use a professional diagnostic tester as well which has an obd1 connecting adapter |
Oga gazzuzz I go soon reach your workshop o ![]() |
GAZZUZZ:Am telling you brother. That engine is seriously expensive. Reason being that some latest Hyundai suv uses same engine which the seller thinks you are equally buying same engine so he is ready to make the price higher. I priced that engine for 500k last year though |
CutePharmacist1:What year is your cerato and what parts do you need |
fotmas:If its 1996 then your car is obd2 compliant. Check under your steering column for the obd2 socket |
This is an obd1 port what year is your car? |
GAZZUZZ:Na live data you dey use observe or fault errors? |
What stops you from going to anambra to look for the real owner or are u residing in japan? Nairaland is not a police station. If you have problems linking yourself up with the real owner. Simply match down to the police station. No naira lander was there in person when money exchanged hands if truly there is an iota of truth in this. |
nedu2000:Visit multi autolab at 13 alhaji olarewaju yekini akesan bustop igando lagos. 08165520837 or 08156087872 |
nedu2000:Simple. Go to your hood take out the negative terminal of your battery for saftey reason so as to avoid deploying your airbag. Located 2 hex screw side by side of the sterring close to the steering. Take them out inorder to remove the airbag. Once airbag is out locate a 17mm nut, your might be a different size located at the center of the steering. Take it out. Once out tap the extreme sides (left and right extreme) of the steering with both hands. This is done inorder to take steering out easily. Once done readjust steering to its normal position. Note of warning : before doing this make sure your car is parked on a straight lane and all wheels are straight Aslo if clock spring or steering angle sensor is rotated during the process. MKe sure you take it out and recount the spiral cable to its recommended turns. You don't wana joke with this part cos if you do. You are gonna damage your steering angle sensor and you loose your horn working like wise any buttons installed on your steering would not work, also your airbag light becomes illuminated, pen down |
DatechMan:Why jumping from frypan to fire? All the cars you mentioned above must have being thoroughly abused considering they are Nigerian used. You wouldn't wana go near that passat would you? You have problems with just an ordinary corolla now you finking of vw passat. Its alright. I wrote previously am following this thread back to back. There is never a day I do not read this thread |
Bump!!! |
krisrock:Call multiautolab to get a better scan tool. 08165520837 or 08156087872. |
boneruns:The yellow amber "check" sign means there is a problem with your powertrain (engine and transmission) this problem could be a permanent or temporary one. First thing you need do is run a comprehensive scan on your to know what fault error (s) are stored in the pcm. Repairs would be carried out based on the fault on error. It is normal for the security to blink when your key is removed in the ignition cylinder, once your key is inserted into the ignition the transponder chip synchronizes with the immobiliser and the ecu to initiate a start. The latter should be yours if not your would never start. If you need to wash the engine compartment I would recommend a hand wash. If you need to fix the problem on your car and you are in lagos call 08156087872 or 08165520837 |
This codes aint from a camry 1999. Clear codes, drive car for 20mins-30mins and rerun a scan and revert back with the codes left |
ogawisdom:Your car wasn't built with a maf sensor rather an air intake temperature sensor. What year is your ride. That diagnostic port is obd1 snappee by you |
Am following this thread back to back ![]() |
What is wrong with yours? Thats an intake air temperature sensor. Cleaning with fuel? Then you must be ready to get another one. There is a cleaning solution. A bit pricy though |
For your car ac fix call multiautolab 08165520837 or 08156087872. |
