I believe the crab phenomenon is more of a black thing and it only happens to be amplified by women's over-intuitive reasoning. The greatest thing a woman could ever be is to have a positive value orientation, where she does not have an esteem or insecurity issues, and where she does not have an entitlement mentality. With that she will not easily see a threat in another woman, and she will go after what she needs, not what she will seek being coveted for. It's a black thing. All women amplify everything they get... |
Who do we condemn now? - the Pastors who use church funds or church members donations to buy jets? - the critics who berate Pastors for "milking" their congregation? - church members who do not read their bible to give according to the bible commandments? - government personnel who steal money, the quantity of which most Nigerians are unaware of but the act of which they have perenially used as fuel for venting aggression against any real or imagined believer in God especially a Christian leader known to live ostentatiously? - daft christians trying to convince atheists and mockers on an online forum thinking that the fools will change their minds after they - christians - have logically outlined the scriptures to analyse op's article....? |
mekaboy: AND WHAT INNOVATIONS DO NIGERIA PRODUCE? WHILE OTHERS ARE WORKING WITH THE SAME INTERNET AND COMPUTER, SOLVING PROBLEMS FOR THE WORLD, PEOPLE USE THE SAME INTERNET AND COMPUTER FOR TRIBAL WAR ONLINE.Are you just wondering aloud or just flogging yourself in public? 80% of these books find their way back to the market for resale. Up to 20% of that amount quoted could have been for kicking backs. The best thing to do to a dying industry is to leave it and let it improvise. A lot is just a pill for dying another day....not sustainable. But the bureaucrats will likely continue to preserve their kickback golden goose... |
It is not the only grammar issue Nigerians have. But you succeeded in putting on a caveat on the price of garri, because I was wondering if you would get knighted by the Queen for this observation. I was surprised when I realized that UK required that I write the IELTS for my HSMP application because Nigeria was not considered a native English speaking country. That was 8 years ago. I know better now. These issues will continue because the standard of education seems to get poorer. Gone are those days when people whistled or covered their eyes or heads to dodge bullets... |
If you succeed in moving this to the politics section, you'll be sorry El-Rufai that you did... |
You might as well just announce your retirement. Apologize for being a professional joker? Now that's not funny!!!! |
Unfortunately the magazine did not quote the extent of damage... The Tories and the white majority British public share a common perspective - they don't want to rainbow the demographics by allowing asian and african faces even at the price of sustain growth and development- they foolishly try to attract Europeans who probably prefer their own countries or whose country's quality of life thrashes the UK's. They more likely attract Europeans from poor parts who are either disinterested in higher education or will more likely compete with the unschooled white British majority for the scarcely available non-, low- and semiskilled jobs. If the husband consistently went to the gym, he had been doing that to stay fit and that is cool. But it's a red herring for anyone when someone is complaining about his/her relationship. It's the cheapest preamble to being lured into an affair from personal experience and people should take care. You can't tell your friend. Just distance yourself and talk to her about keeping herself attractive to her husband cos at least you know he's hot and she's not... |
He suppose give speech. The thing wey dey cause vex be say the thing wey dey least important na im e dey overdo. Make the man go visit all dem flooded areas, engage dem victim and access the level wey NEMA and other related govt agencies dem go fit manage this crisis. bukatyne: so a strange woman who speaks twi has advantage over a wife who has borne 5 kids! a man is not senseless and a strange woman can't 'snatch' him; he decides to go after her. although a twi speaking woman might seduce him, the decision to fall for her or not remains solely with the man.B'oya lo mo... (go figure)... Would it matter which direction who or what is influencing who or deciding what? In the end our sister's interest could be under threat, God forbid. |
As people get older, they tend towards their roots. If your husband is attending a twi-only speaking church now, it might be a preamble to other "home"-inclined decisions he might take in future. Learning the language is your most veritable tool for entrenching your - cultural, social, political etc. - influence around your husband in those times so you can stave off any possible outside threat and build your empire with your husband without interference. Note what tpiah contributed last. It is in every culture. A lot of people are saying that it is your spiritual growth that matters and thank God you realise the difference between casual attendance and spiritual growth now. You will soon realise that God uses everything for a purpose. In the book of Acts 16:1-3 Paul had to baptize Timothy, whose mother was a Jew, because the Jews knew his father was Greek, even though he did not need to but the gospel had to progress and peace must reign first. In those days there was a strange sort of hierarchy with Jews first, then others, not because it was right but because human beings will just be human beings who can ruin a good thing with well intended but foolish actions. These elements will always be in church and no one can surmount it except by joining them first to beat them later. Your husband is going to grow in this ministry and some considerations which are not important between two of you now will soon become important as he goes up the church ladder (and he will) because of people around two of you. You will have to be seen as earning your clout alongside him in his chosen place of worship and be deemed a befitting helpmeet indeed. This does not mean you ought to be ordinarily, but you need to keep your husband and you will need to play up to the social game too. Fellowshipping in a church involves a play of socio-cultural and political intrigues, but don't be distracted as the spiritual is content. But people generally carried away with the packaging most times and you wouldn't want people to discard the message because of the messenger. That was Paul did through out the book of Acts. Pragmatic christianity. You need to be seen to be on your husband's side. Prepare yourself both spiritually and linguistically...continue attending MFM while learning Twi knowing that one day you must be spiritually mature enough to assist your husband to lead. Take care and God bless.... |
I'm not used to woman doing that, so when it happens it normally to feel like wtf...I kust pretend there's no message attached to it, but if you press on (@ your own peril) s**t can happen... |
One of the problems wt fora like this is that diff people wt diff belief system will tell u wat dey believe works for them. I am a christian and the faith doesn't support premarital sex. However, most of us are western cultured and the culture is deeply mired in premarital sex culture, which is what is the reality of most people these days. I will advise you to avoid premarital sex. The reality is that it is in the babe's hands. You decide. But I will advice you to approach the matter with your guy in a way that doesn't pass you off as holier-than-thou, or hiding something. Be ready to demonstrate love by showing lots of attention and assure him of a post-marital mind-blowing bleeping experience time to time (I hope you know you gotta prepare for dat). And be okay to talk about sex and edgy stuff... Just like someone said, the economic pressures of needing to get a post-secondary qualification is really the culprit these days... All the best...usually I was the one who used to slow the babes...(They still think I'm crazy and some still hate me for it).... |
He has ruined the offer by making it a public and open matter...stuff like these must run highly under-g and covert.... |
Kirinwa: Well NCCF is good. It helps one to settle down faster. In terms of dating you can't even talk to a sister freely not to talk of taking her out. Yet they preach Marriage.Permit me to speak my mind I think its hypocrisy. How can we not get entangled with unbelievers when our sisters in the Lord are unreachable. Christ!Well, it is not hypocrisy. Church leadership in these parts are more comfortable with courtship and marriages stages and do not know how to relate to dating and precourtship relationships, since in the secular world intimacy/premarital sex is a given. Moreover, a lot of brethren cannot yet cope with the challenges of cultural liberalism. For the fact that people like you have noticed, please take it as a responsibility to teach the Word in the light of modern realities, without compromise. Today, in the bus I saw a man in his fifties he was swearing at his luck for being a Nigerian who's lived all his life on hopes and promises that never surfaces. At least he got hopes and promises... I wonder what the remaining more than 70% think they got.... |
Well it is a private matter, which is why it would have been preferable to keep it so if they were not interested in sharing the matter with the congregation or public. As it is now, the topic is misleading and the explanation has only ensured further confusion in the minds of Christians worldwide and the on-looking public... |
mkmyers45: Its part of the job U try...that's the problem open fora like NL will have. Now you are enjoying yourself poking fun at Christian Apologetic Ignoramuses. Enjoy your holiday while it lasts... ![]() |

mkmyers45: and yet people dey die go heaven come backWhat are you saying and what did you read? ![]() |
mkmyers45: I dey Laugh..Are you even trying to suggest the gap theory? thats pure red herring..What does verse 2 say? It describes the state of the newly created world...How and where did you deduce the age diffrence when Holy ghost filled and vibrant posters of the Religion section have said that the earth was created in 6 days 6,000 years ago as revealed by the Holy Spirit. The Earth is not round but a sphere and organized science never ever said the earth was flat, made of pillars and the Centre of the Universe..The onus is up to you if you want to listen to people who are arguing on your platform or not. In any case, the Bible/God does not seek to make people convinced, but to get people to be informed. The choice of believing is up to you. "Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead (Luke 16:27-31". |
There lots of mix ups on this thread about the Bible, Christianity and the Church. As well as even the question being asked... There is no basis for comparing Science to the Bible. Science proves. The Bible asserts. And the latter does not try to prove or convince even though science eventually proves what it largely asserts. The Bible is not a book of just scientific and logical clarifications. Science has not been able to clarify various events that transcends explanation based on the tools (maths, logic etc.) it applies. In religion, those unexplained issues are stated as spiritual matters. The Church is the institution that advances christianity based on biblical teaching. Even the bible acknowledges that the church can go amiss, in its bid to advance God. The bible by itself when taken in the right context, has yet to be undermined. The various bodies of scientists around the world also see prove that science is the most consistent form of knowledge reference for mankind. Unfortunately the church did not view science positively in the past. It is not likely that the 2 institutions can ever be reconciled. However, beyond the bid to disprove the bible, science cannot explain non-dimensional matter, cannot explain how prophecies have occurred and the source of the knowledge expounded by writers of the bible and recalled by some people in this thread. Unfortunately several christians and scientists are also ignorant even in their arguments and goes to show in this thread as well.... |
I don't think they are illiterates simply because they are chatting in mnemonics that most of you found hard to understand. Nevertheless, the lesson here is that guys should always also look out on if a babe is loving them back or is at least, faithful to them on matter how deep head-over-heels you fall. Most girls can play in-love to most guys without them noticing - a 3rd party most likely will, though. And eventually, it's always up to the girl to decide if she's in it for love or otherwise.... When guys love, they blank too easily... |
I first came across this article in 2004 and I can assure you it's a game changer and paradigm shifter, unless the user has nothing is simply unteachable. I even bought some of his stuff. However, I have my disagreements with DD.... based on spiritual convictions. Anyone using this stuff should remember that it was you, man, not the ladies, that was always the problem. And, handle with care..... |
^ Olodo, do you know Einstein had a reputation for philandering within the science community? Never chat on a public forum out of ignorance unless you are making enquiries... |
^Like how many countries are more comfortable convicting their citizens abroad? |
