Bring the two years back video. This one was not dated. Bring one thats dated, people have been asking for evidence. That will help to have a dated copy. Thanks.

A show of shame.

Do you see how Northerners abuse constitution? They will give each of them cow, rice and millions as a thank you reward. Not a single one will be arrested and go to jail.

The governer of that state swore same oath to constitution that Makinde did. But Makinde go carry constitution for head and protect fulani. Wike go carry constitution on head and order killing of people to protect fulani.

Southern governors don't have balls to flout constitution the way they do in North. If MEND attack oil infrstructure soldiers will be called in, and they did not kill anyone. Youth protested Sanwo Olu called soldiers in, they didn't even kill anyone. Ipob protested SE governors called soldiers in, they did not kill a single soul.

Look at mass killers that have terrorised across state lines, killed traditional rulers, raped young virgins and their mothers, kicked down people doors and abducted them for ransom, slaughtered and beheaded people, harvested and sold their body parts to marabouts. Soldier stand there, police stand there and the governor will come in and host these bandits with very lucrative rewards. These guns they surrendered, did they have license to possess it? Flagrant abuse of law and constitution.

Southerners wake up. Separate your people from these animals. They will kill us all and in return earn rewards, not jail time or death sentence.

There were many Yoruba townships and communities whose origin came out of rebellion against a monarch, and many of them still exist till today. There are many heroes who rose out of rebellion from a common subject to become a revered king. Our history is filled with many.

kovic20:
Recent fracas between Oni of Ife and Igboho is all you need to know that it will be very difficult for Yoruba youths or younger generation to rise against injustice in their land. They need the blessing of their spiritual or traditional rulers to embark on such adventure. If the ruler says NO or cannot be done that way, despite urgency of the matter, the youths have no choice but to abide.

Any attempt to break away and call out the incompetency of the traditional rulers will have them vilified and possibly ostracized by the Yoruba majority. In essence, this what has played out between Igboho and Oni of Ife. All Igboho did was to call out the incompetence of the traditional leaders in solving the Fulani crises and he was dragged across until he apologized. Apologized for what? For speaking the truth? The takeaway from the fracas is Yoruba youths or younger generation need the blessing of their traditional rulers to embark on any existential offense against an impending enemy which is very dangerous.

To the contrary in the East, the Igbo tradition is far different which makes it very easy for them to rise or revolt without the imput or permission of their traditional rulers. Igbo tradition allows for the youths or majority to revolt, insult or even beat to pauper an elder if he is in wrong, and other elders will not say anything; that is how sacred truth is to the Igbos. That's why Nnamdi Kanu insults them, they may be pained but they know the Igbo tradition allows that so long as Nnamdi Kanu is right and fighting a just cause.

Nnamdi Kanu was able to hijack the whole security of the entire SE without the traditional rulers or elders' imput and permission, with just having the majority behind him, that can never happen in Yorubaland.

Whoever wrote this has a perception, not a knowledge, of Yoruba culture and the relationship between elder and youths, or that between monarch and subjects.

What is more sacrilegious-
To call out elders who have proven inept in ending their people's suffering;
Or to continue to suffer in silence, while killers roam free and elders grow fat in complacency?

meanwhile, I'd appreciate a catalogue of past actions by his Royal Highness- and others in government- that have helped the security of his/their people.

I've kuku been online on Nairaland. Good to see you too.

When I made mention of adherence to the constitution, I am not using Buhari as a reference point because he is an outlier.

You won't expect Ondo State governor for example to come online and issue shoot at sight to all the Fulani herdsmen living in Ondo. What he can do is to ban open grazing, issue an eviction for the criminals to leave the forest reserve, enforce the open grazing law, and strengthen state security forces and rangers to make them more effective. Then systematically make it hard for them to see Ondo as viable for business or living and you will see them relocating elsewhere. Akeredolu won't say burn all Fulani houses because the constitution does not enable that.

See Igboho for example, I am sure that some people in government invited him to Ogun state then, when he got there he burnt some Fulani houses and cows, then he went to the media to start granting interview that Ogun government invited him and that put the government in a bad spot so they had to defend themselves by saying they never invited him.

Fulanis don't call camera men to deal with people, they don't do press briefing before killing or destroying farms. Why do we have to call CNN when burning their houses? I know Igboho is born out of necessity and inaction of our leaders but baba should stop granting media interview and work underG to continue to get work done. More grease to his elbow.

Good input.

1. I agree on Akeredolu and his role.
2. I disagree on the other points. Below is why.

Are you aware that the leadership of the fulanis that disturb our villages are educated? They are not young in age, usually old and educated. Those that are not, like seriki fulani..all his sons are graduates with degrees. Any fulani leading a resettlement plan in Yorubaland is educated or has sons that are educated and live with him on the land. I almost want to say education is a pre-requisite to appoint a seriki over herders or a warlord over terrorists. All must be card carrying and registered member of miyetti allah to earn the trust to lead an occupying force. Have you ever seen an UNeducated miyetti allah behind microphone and video? cheesy
There are lawyers... who are registered and participating members of miyetti allah.

Fulani action on our land is choreographed and intended. The choreographer is miyetti allah and they do grant press interview and public announcement.

We underestimate and dismiss them as uneducated and thus less harmful than us educated Yorubas.

Using our education we have abrogated to ourselves the right to sophisticated existence and civilized approach to the environment and sorrounding. To us Yoruba, in mannerism and attitude, he who has education owns the privilege to dictate the order of society and manage its affairs.

Anyone without education, or perceived so, is brushed off as a waste of our attention and time. We do not imagine such simpleton can harm us. To be educated is to be powerful and capable. If you dont have education, you are opposite, not powerful and not capable. Hence we let our guards down around fulani herders.

The herders are not educated, but their leadership is. Those who arm them and provide them with logistics, they are in your FG, in Police, in Army, in Air Force, in Customs, in Immigration, in Ports Authority, in Airports...

Look at the make up of the Directors of these agencies and security forces, what do you see?

We underestimate their capabilities and far reaching agenda. There is a synergy of purpose between the educated fulani and the uneducated fulani. There is nothing like a innocent fulani.

Tally all the people killed in South by fulani terrorists in forest, add to those killed by fulani herdsmen on farms, add to those killed by dangote trucks, add to killings by police and army on our streets, you will get the full picture.

On their part, these people do not underestimate Yoruba.

All educated Yorubas abandon village life. The people in village are mostly uneducated, or under-educated. You will not find an educated Baale in Abule. So our own leadership in village are uneducated and under-educated and if they have educated sons they are in city. Meanwhile they live with fulani leadership who are educated or sorrounded by educated sons.

If the Yoruba premise and world view that education confers superiority is correct and true, then it should not be difficult to understand why fulani has upper hand in our forests, villages and sorroundings. They have usurped powers from our Baales and they run village govt, they order our society. Its order will be nothing shorter than fulanization. Seriki fulani of Lagos is not more innocent than seriki fulani of Igangan. I will not be surprised to discover they communicate as brothers and comembers of miyetti allah.

They have used football league and premier league to distract us and sneak in. While we brand ourselves Arsenal and Manchester in the city, fulani in the forest brand our people with foreign culture. They now have a Gaa Salihu, Gaa Wakili...in our fatherland!

I will talk on Igboho in a different post. He is my hero, and I hate to discuss him in the midst of a talk about animals. grin

A lot of you just come online and spit nonsense while waiting for ignorant fellows like you to like and share and you withdraw back to the comfort of your room and laugh.

Tell me any region with a more coordinated cooperative action spearheaded by their government that did better than the SW.

Our governors are the first to damn the situation and create a joint regional security network and they are the first to collectively ban open grazing as a region.

Hear this, Nigeria is a country with laws and you won’t expect the governors that swore to defend the tradition shouting on the internet that all Fulanis should be shot at sight.

Even if that is their plan, it has to be underG using guys like Igboho and etc.

You staffoforanyan have a low self esteem and always parrot nonsense online daily without no direction.

To make it worse, you keep mentioning me without no meaningful discourse to engage in. Please mention me only when you want to discuss something meaningful and stop all this usual low self esteem comments of yours!

LegendHero, how u dey? Were you on ban or something? Anyway, its good to see you.

On the point of constitution and adherence, tell me Buhari adheres to the constitution he swore to. Point to any Governor in North that adheres to this constitution.

Why should SW carry adherence to Nigerian Constitution on our head like this?

No wonder many Eastern soldiers resigned and sharply ported to ESN. Thats why they could disgrace the army in orlu.

More of that should happen.

Politics / Re: Families Of Six Slain Igbo Soldiers Drag Buratai, Army To ICC - Lawyer by MayorofLagos(m): 2:54pm On Feb 05, 2021
1. Nigerian Army first denies any cruelty.
2. Then they twist the message.
3. After that they call a press briefing and again deny the first denial and label it a misrepresentation.
4. They use the briefing to bully press.
5. When pressure mounts from global media then they backtrack and open investigation.
6. They return and admit the incident did happen but Army was not to blame.
7. When evidence is presented they admit it as an internal gap in communication.

Look, i dont even know why Nigeria is still standing, after what has happened in Obigbo and now in Oyo and Ondo.

They came through the Chairman of Miyatti Allah in the state. Some opted to go to Osun, Edo and Kogi States.

” So our men escorted to the boundaries of those states. We have to monitor their movements out of the state so that they would not destroy farms on their way out.

Kudos to them...but, Hold on, the Western Nigeria Security Network recently translated the rules and laws of Amotekun into Yoruba. Someone need to hand the Yoruba version to these personnel.

Amotekun is to protect entire SW and member states from adversaries such as lawless fulani herdsmen and fulani terrorists. So why are they piloting outlaws to the border to enter Osun?

This needs to be taken to DAWN to do training in field.

Should yorubas wait until the whole southwest is turned into bornu where 23 out of 27 Lgs are under the jurisdiction of one fulani bandit group or the other before we ask these marauding "locusts" to vacate our ancestral land?

"Beating drums of war"? The ones that are destroying our farmlands, investments, livelihoods and economic independence with their cows, illegally occupying our forests, kidnapping us for ransoms on our highways, raping our mothers (etc), wantonly butchering our brothers, sons (etc) in their homes; what kind of drums are they beating? Politics / Re: Herders Crisis: Ooni Replies Sunday Igboho by MayorofLagos(m): 1:35pm On Feb 04, 2021
Here is where I stand on the issue,

Sunday Igboho has been thoroughly fortified spiritually and in readiness for battle. So his behaviour and mannerisms while under this spiritual armor as nd spell will be very boisterous, he is expected to be fearless, attack anyone and not back out from a confrontation. His frustrations with fulani action on his fatherland is what propels him into action and that frustration is like fire it is spit out at anyone and anything he identifies as pro-fulani. Ordinarily without the spiritual powers that now sits on him I dont think he would go that far in addressing Ooni.
