At the 2012 London Summit on Family Planning (LSFP), Nigeria pledged to double its contraceptive prevalence rate (CPR) among married women from 15 percent to 36 percent by 2018. As a means of achieving this goal, the FMOH developed a family planning costed implementation plan (the National FP Blueprint 2013-2018) which was launched in 2014. The government of Nigeria renewed its FP 2020 commitments at the 2017 London FP2020 conference, with the aim of accelerating the country towards achieving an mCPR target of 27%.

The country has made significant progress in implementing the national FP Blueprint (2013- 2018), which ends this year. With the expiration of the Blueprint in 2018, the FMOH in collaboration with key stakeholders have commenced the process of revising the document.

The development of a revised National FP Blueprint 2019-2023 commenced with a strategic meeting held in Kano between 13th – 16th September 2018. At the end of the meeting broad strategies along the PP thematic areas were developed. A consultant is required to work with key stakeholders in the thematic area stated above to refine the strategies as well as define activities to achieve the strategies.

Purpose

The purpose of this assignment is to work with FMoH and key stakeholders within the Thematic Area to refine the broad strategies and develop activities with timelines and metrics to measure success for a new national PP Blueprint 2018-2023.
Methodology and Specific Tasks for Consultant

This work will be carried out through stakeholder meetings and discussions/engagement with key stakeholders in the relevant PP Thematic area. The specific tasks include:

Refine the strategies and objectives based on the review meetings.

“I have seen lizards that measure up to 3.5 feet long including the tail and the tail is long and strong.

“These monitor lizards have strong legs that can support a heavy body and sharp claws on their feet that helps them run at good speeds and climb trees too.

“The fighting that takes place between males can occur for territory or sometimes for females.

“I witnessed a fight between two big males, this was very serious fight that lasted for more than 30 minutes.

“They wouldn’t leave each other and were trying to bite and roll.

Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola (born November 11, 1992), professionally known as DJ Cuppy, is a Nigerian disc jockey and producer. She is the daughter of Nigerian businessman Femi Otedola.

DJ Cuppy has been in the music scene for a while now.  

Over the years, Cuppy has had a couple of contracts that brought her to limelight. Some of these include;

7 friends Moliehi Mareka, Mahlatse Mothiba, Tshepang Motete, Thato Mosehle, Toni Motseoile, Lungile Mkhungo, and Lijeng Lefosa will be among those who will be graduating as doctors on the 6th of December 2018 at the Free State University.

Medical school is filled with a whole lot of challenges but with God on their side, this seven were able to make it.

Thato shared several photos of the group on Facebook along with the caption: "Glory to God!! We did it y'all! We proved so many people wrong, we've proved so many people right."

They were among the nine ‘black’ students in a class of 130 students and this also served as a motivation to them.

Speaking to TimesLIVE, 24-year-old Tshepang said she was raised in a rural village by parents who aren't professionals. She's the first in her family to become a doctor.

Adjusting to modern technological equipment during her studies was therefore a huge challenge. Luckily, older students were there to guide them, she said.

Peter Kay had on November last year shocked and disappointed a lot of fans when he unexpectedly called off all of his UK tour and over a dozen dates in  Birmingham.

The first set of dates had quickly sold out about a month after being announced that they were on sale.

According to the plan, the Birmingham dates for 2018 were April 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, and May 1, May 2, May 5, 6 and 7.

And shows at Arena Birmingham on were slated for May 24, 25 and 29 in 2019.

All shows and dates were cancelled.

But now Car Share co-star Sian Gibson, 42, has confirmed the two are currently working on a new project, according to the Sun.

She told the Star : “We have got things that we are going to do together.”

Sian didn't reveal the name of the project.

But she said it was "really nice" to be working with Peter, 45, again and "hopes it can continue."

Fashola was in Lagos on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, for the inauguration of 5,000 foot soldiers tasked with mobilising votes for the Buhari/Osinbajo ticket.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports Fashola as saying that even though the APC promised change in 2014, the party did not promise to effect it in four years.

“The APC has done more in three years than 16 years of PDP administration, yet they say President Buhari is too slow”, Fashola said.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) has reported that APC lawmakers are still insisting that incumbent Senate President – Sen. Bukola Saraki must vacate his seat following his defection from the party to the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) – Sen. Ndume.

Sen. Ali Ndume (APC-Borno), says plans to impeach the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, are much alive.

Ndume, who disclosed  this at the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Forum in Abuja on Tuesday, also said that he would not be bought over with his appointment as Chairman, Senate Committee on Establishment and Public Service.

NAN reports that Ndume is one of the APC lawmakers that has insisted that Saraki must vacate his seat following his defection from the party to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He had a running battle with Saraki following his supposed support for the Executive against decisions of the National Assembly.

This led to the losing of his seat as Leader of the Senate and his suspension for six legislative months.

He was also stripped of his position as Chairman Senate Committee on Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Ndume said he regretted supporting Saraki to emerge as President of the Senate, alleging that he was running the affairs of the senate like a private business.
