Religion / Re: Tb Joshua's Secret Exposed by Ex-Muslim (Bisola Johnson). Watch Video by Mazi(m): 3:00pm On Sep 26, 2011
"By their fruits we shall know them"

Has T.B. Joshua spoken or done anything against God, that we have seen? To the best of my knowledge: No.

Its all allegations, so as long as T.B. Joshua is not against the word of God, I have no reason whatsoever not to listen to his words and teachings.

As for those of you Muslims & Christians fighting for Muhammed and Jesus, you all have no fear of God.

Allah is God, the creator of Heaven and Earth and all that is in it.

The Spirit of the begotten Son of God: "Christ" dwelt in Jesus.

Jesus Christ is the Son & Word of God.

Mohammed was a Prophet of God.

Its you all hypocritical followers of both Muhammed and Jesus Christ that lack the knowledge of the Most High God.

And finally Guys, leave Nigeria out of this. I hate it when people keep blaming my country for every misfortune.

I love my Nigeria oooo.

Politics / Re: Can Nigeria Ever Improve? by Mazi(m): 11:27am On Feb 18, 2007
@segun06,

Improve in what?

There are many ways we have improved in.

In terms of economical strength, Nigeria is projected by Goldman Sachs to be amongst the largest 20 economies by 2020.

This of course based on the recent political will and economic growth rate which has to be sustained. These trends started in 2003, after the current economic reforms started.

Now if we can achieve a GDP growth rate of 7% from 2004, exchange rate stability, >$40bn foreign reserve, Health reforms, civil service reforms etc, infrastructural development, all in the last 3 years, a lot can be acheived in 10 years.

That's why the world's attention is on Nigeria. The world powers don't want to sleep and wake up to another China, in a Black Power: Nigeria.
They all want to be involved in the building of the first black power, that's why Britain, the EU and China are contributing to cencus, elections, railway etc.

You guys better be prapared for the first black power in about 13 years.

Politics / Re: Disqualifications Undemocratic, Says Us by Mazi(m): 10:56am On Feb 18, 2007
I saw the link on the so called comments by the US, on a nigeria news website, and when I saw that It was from the Daily Sun, I didnt even bother to read it 'cos Daily Sun belongs to Orji Kalu, who was indicted in the EFCC report.

Reading your comments here I can confirm that it didnt come from the US authorities.

I believe that the US authorities understand respect for constitution.

The disqualifications are purely based on powers given to the EFCC and the Federal government by the Nigerian Constitution. I would suggest that we download a copy of the constitution from the nigeria.gov.ng website, and search thru.

On the issue of all politicians being corrupt, well I am yet to read of any allegations, etc that bothers on corruption on the persons of Yaradua, Buhari or even Utomi.

So there are politicians who are deem not corrupt.

For once I am very staisfied with the current qualified candidates.

Anyone of them can win, I'll be happy with that.

Car Talk / Re: My Overheating 5 Series Bmw by Mazi(m): 7:57am On Jan 26, 2007
1) Check to make sure that the radiator fan comes on, when the temperature goes up. You can test this by keeping the engine running for a while.
2) You may have to change the radiator cap. (I had the same problem with my '90 5 series way back in 2001)

Happy Bimmering!
Politics / Re: Kano State Has The Highest Population In Nigeria? by Mazi(m): 11:53am On Jan 15, 2007
Na wa for u nigerians o!

This Kano/Lagos population figures have been consistent over the previous census conducted in Naija.

Then, we complained that since the North was in power, they were manipulating the figures.

Now in 2006, a Yoruba man is in power, the census was conducted with the assistance of the EU and DFID etc, computers were used for the first time, and even satellite images were used.

But still una no gree!

We forget that over 80% of people in Lagos are non indegenes of lagos, and infact are mostly Ibos.

Now most of these Ibos travelled back to their states of origin to be counted there, and the ones left in lagos refused to be counted as nigerians, insisting they are biafrans.

Then you complain that the figures were manipulated!

Na wa for una o!
Car Talk / Re: How Reliable Are BMW Cars? by Mazi(m): 2:40pm On Dec 04, 2006
If you are not very well paid, I'd suggest you don't join my club of BMW addicts.

Bimmer owners are passionate about it, 'cos once you start driving and own one, you never stop.

I owned a 3 series, then a 5 series. I am now saving for the X5. wink

Coscharis Autos have all the parts you need for your bimmer. (Models from 1993)
Parts are expensive, not for small boys.

As for roads, you wouldnt enjoy the bimmer in most parts of Lagos. Point of those who say roads in Nigeria are generally bad.

Come to Abuja and up North, you'd enjoy your bimmer without potholes etc.

If you've got the money, go for the bimmer and enjoy the passion.

Politics / Re: VP Atiku's Decision To Run For The Presidency? by Mazi(m): 9:21am On Nov 27, 2006
Going by the Administrative Panel's report, Atiku will be disqualified from contesting from the presidency. This is a known fact.

If Atiku believes he is innocent, and the EFCC are only persecuting him, let him resign and submit himself to trial. He will surely be vindicated.

Otherwise he is as innocent as Alams, Fayose and Dariye.

On IBB, EFCC is waiting by the corner. They'll pounce at the very right time. I trust them.

We need a new generation at the helm of affairs, or someone with a proven anti-corrupt stance.

Our options are Duke, Buhari or Marwa.

One of them will surely emerge as Nigeria's next president.

Politics / Re: Donald Duke Declares For Presidency November 7 At Inter. Conference Cent., Abuja by Mazi(m): 8:45pm On Nov 23, 2006
Governors/Administrators of:

CROSS RIVER
FCT
ENUGU
EBONYI
BAUCHI
GOMBE
KADUNA
KANO
KWARA
EKITI
NASSARAWA

These are the few states I have credible information on. This is based on Basic Health Services, Education(UBE), Infrastructural development, Tourism, Water resources and Employment opportunities.

Although some of the governors of these states are under investigation for corruption and infact impeached in the case of Ekiti for corrupt practices, they still performed. We are of the opinion that they would have done even better if they were not thieves.

I believe Duke, Muazu(Bauchi), Buhari or El-Rufai will make a credible president for Nigeria. That's just my opinion. Nigerian's Votes will decide on that.

Have a nice day all.
Politics / Re: Donald Duke Declares For Presidency November 7 At Inter. Conference Cent., Abuja by Mazi(m): 3:38pm On Nov 23, 2006
@Celemel

I disagree with you on having travelled the whole of Naija, and Calabar is the only state where things work.

Na lie.

Things work in Abuja and Enugu. I live in Abuja and I have been to Enugu to see things for myself. Calabar is also on the performance list, but not the only city in the list.

My brother in Law who is serving in Gombe informed me on the excellent infrastructure in Gombe and Bauchi State. I am visiting Yankari this December, so I'll confirm that, and I'll be in Calabar too this year. Heard so much about Calabar and Obudu.

There are some performing Governors and Cities in Naija.

Naija is not just Lagos o!

Abuja Rocks!

Business / Re: E- Commerce Sites That Accepts Credit Card And Ships To Nigeria. by Mazi(m): 12:10pm On Nov 01, 2006
Thanks egoldman,

I am aware of these options, but the option I was really interested in was funding my graphcard account from my Mastercard, as I am outside Naija most times. Moreover the charges for using a graphcard reseller is huge. I met one in Abuja.

Thanks again.
Business / Re: E- Commerce Sites That Accepts Credit Card And Ships To Nigeria. by Mazi(m): 11:04am On Oct 31, 2006
@egoldman,

The last time I checked, Graphcard doesnt accept funding from a MasterCard. Please confirm that this is now possible, 'cos I also need to purchase some items, and have a graphcard account.

Car Talk / Re: FCT To Ban Okada Come October 1st by Mazi(m): 11:51am On Sep 22, 2006
We have all commuted before the Okada Craze. Okadas became popular late 90's.

We'll continue to commute without Okadas in the city center. It'll even encourage development in the Satellite towns, as there 'll be more movement in those towns until there is a bus system in place there.

Infact in my estate, we need more Okadas whithin the estate than in the city center. Its safer whithin the estate. Hopefully we'll have more now.

I am sick and tired of people seeing every government policy as being against the so called "poor masses".

Guys be Objective!

Car Talk / Re: FCT To Ban Okada Come October 1st by Mazi(m): 1:54pm On Sep 21, 2006
I support the ban 100%. Infact I have been looking forward to it since last year when El Rufai announced plans to do that once the buses are in place.

Maybe if one of u opposing the ban suffers from an Okada related accident, u'd understand. They are simply not safe, especially the commercial cyclists.

They'll be differentiated from non commercial ones as the private rider and passenger wear safety helmets.
Computers / Re: Wimax In Abuja, Nigeria Using Alvarion Breezemax System by Mazi(m): 5:49pm On Jul 28, 2006
Guys I have a question.

@WIMAXER,

I live in Abuja, and currently have a Senao 802.11b/g bridge connecting to my WISP, whose customer service, I am not too happy with. The link is pretty fast though. Now If WIMAX becomes the place to be, do I need a new CPE to connect to say Surburban or Startech?

Computers / Re: Ict Village In Abuja by Mazi(m): 6:03pm On Jul 07, 2006
@jek,

Abuja Technology Village: Construction work is to start soon. The FCTA is still resettling indegenes displaced from the area. The project is a Public Private Participation project. The African Institute for Science and Technology to be built by the Mandela Foundation will be located there.

The first phase is to be delivered by the end of this year, i think. Not very sure about the date.
Computers / Re: Startech Connections Deployes Alvarion's Wimax System In Abuja by Mazi(m): 10:12am On Jun 08, 2006
@WIMAXER,

Is the service now available to new customers, as I was at their office, about 2 months back, and was told that they are yet to offer internet services to new clients, because of the upgrade.
Travel / Re: Third Mainland Bridge May Collapse Soon? It Vibrates by Mazi(m): 3:25pm On Jun 05, 2006
All Bridges vibrate, because of the gaps between the sections. This is also in place to prevent resonance on the bridge.

Yes, the collapse of the walls of Jericho was achieved from Resonance. An Instruction was given to the Jews from an OmniScience and Omnipotent God, who knew that resonance will achieve the destruction. Hence It was a miracle from God. God is still revealing things to us everyday.
Travel / Re: Is Life Really Better Abroad? by Mazi(m): 9:59am On May 03, 2006
Life has been, and I hope will always be Good for me in Naija.
I have a generator, but rarely use it, I have water running 24/7, I don't have long traffic to deal with, Life is wonderfull for me in Abuja.

I know Lagosians can't say the same, but we are talking about Nigeria and not Lagos.

It all depends on what you want in life, and where you want it.

You have to look Africanwards next time you want a married man. grin

Travel / Re: What State Are You From? by Mazi(m): 5:38pm On Mar 26, 2006
Eastern Heartland - Imo

Good:

Relatively Peacefull, Oil palm, Well Planned City:Owerri, High Standards of Education, Lots of Hotels.

Bad:

Owerri used to be Nigeria's cleanest city ie in the late 80's, not anymore!
Owerri: Growing city without capacity planning. There are always traffic jams on the exit routes from the city during yuletide or long holidays, as Owerri is crowded during such times.
