OrlandoOwoh:Hmmm. Sting decrees, news black out, arbitrary incarcerations, offenses ante- dated to meet new decrees, jerk taxations, etc. Are there no better electoral materials for APPCC and PDDPP in Nigeriaria? |
LilNetty:That is covette class platform used mainly by coast guard for near coast rescue and anti pirate / smuggle operations. It can also be armed but it is can only be used for 'Brown Water' naval operations. At the moment Nigeria Navy has vessel that can swallow that corvette within minutes of open naval confrontation. |
siraj1402:Oh how I wish those Buharic statements and promises were genuinely personal rather than electoral political statements aimed at vote catching. |
caesaraba:With him out of the Senate at primary level, how on earth is he going to sustain his opulent life style? Nigerians, let us wisen up. |
OrlandoOwoh:Give it to Rochas, Fani Kayode and Tunde Bakare. They are orators. |
diluminati:. All that glitters is not gold. Beauty is ephemeral. The most important aspect of beauty is internal and not visible to camers lenses. Above all, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. |
SmartCount:i support this to the last drop. Step it up to include trade, education and technology. Teach Russian at WAEC level. We must be dynamic in diplomacy and not allow Nigeria to become stranded in our past witj Europe and America. |
Ogojohn:Dont misquote God. He directed Hosea the prophet to marry a prostitute not primarily because she was a prostitute but for other reasons. Read that chapter again. This is not to say that a prostitute cannot make a good wife. It depends on the reasons she became a prostitute, how she feels about being one, and her experiences while still in the trade. Majority are forced into it by hardship - very much like some men being forced into robbery. |
Kolade9:Fake and synthetic. Hair and eyelash are pvc, eye shadow and lipstick are paint, bra and buttocks are rubber and mattress foam, nails are ivory. The blue eyes is contact lense - glass. I can go on and on. When you strip her of all those, what remains will be no different from dressed chicken! |
[quote author=Ishilove post=28488436]I stumbled on this very interesting article on Premium Times. It is a very fine piece of investigative journalism, as well as an eye opener to the lengths humans go to make dirty money and cover up 'sins'. But the Johesu pharmacist is now a consult qualified to play the doctor in all respect. They have support of the Federal government, so onward with the Johesu modified form of health delivery. Those who are complaining are simply jealous. We asked for it. |
TheRealMrStan:When they were bombing churches, the muslims were quiet. Now there are no churches to bomb and the pendulum has swung to the mosques. The christians and moslems are shouting but the pagans and animists are quiet. When they finish with mosques and havimg dealt with churches, they will move over to the shrines. My question is this; who, when, how and where do they want Nigerians to worship? Or do they not want us to worship God? |
ceo4eva:This one na wash abeg. A leader can do more by delegation and orders than by his muscles. Our politicians are funny. Yesterday on Nairaland it was ex Gov. Obi buying bananas before camera lenses. I remember one of them eating guguru. One of them sat roasted corn after shoving the real road side corn roaster aside for a few minutes. Another gov. also rode a bike thro the streets. What they have in common? After the media show, the retire to government house from where they sit over our collective destiny. |

[quote author=prince3009 post=28339408]My mum received a call this morning while lying on her sick bed, it was someone who claimed to be an FRSC official. He claimed that there was someone involved in a ghastly motor accident whom she (my mum) knew and that she should call back...i was already all set for work so i decided to call the number. When i did, the "FRSC" man asked where i was and i told him i was in Abuja. He then said that there was a ghastly motor accident which occurred along the Lokoja/Abuja road and a woman whom we supposedly know was involved. He said he got my mum's number from the woman's phone and that though she is alive, she is in a very critical condition. According to him, the 3 people sitting down beside her died on the spot and the woman needed urgent medical attention. He further inquired if i knew any Red Cross number and i said no. I told him to simply use the woman's number to call me so that i would be able to ascertain her identity by tallying it with the contacts on my mum's phone or mine so we could know if she was a close relative but he responded by saying that there was no credit in the woman's phone and that he tried the "Call Me Back" method which did not work. He finally broke the camel's back by saying i should send MTN Recharge Card of about N400 to him so he could load the phone and call me back with it. I told him that i would send him just N100 but he insisted it must be N400 or at least N200. That was when it dawned on me. I was so upset cos my mum is a High BP and Diabetic patient which culminated to a stroke months back and was still recovering in my house only for them to spring this up on her. I managed to calm both her and my younger sister down by telling them it was a prank call from a scammer and related my reasons to them. This is old method now. Early this year I was with a cousin when his phone rang. As he picked the call, he started cursing the person on the line and later hung up. He later explained that the person called him and informed him of an accident using exactly the method you described. He placed call to all his relatives and friend and there was no accident. He still sent recharge of 1000 demanded by the scammer but he failed to call back but rather switched off for 2 days. He called again with the same story probably haven forgotten that my cousin had been treated earlir by him. |
Franchise21:I am not sure the respected OBA said that. In the unlikely case that he said that, he made a political statrment. Is he saying that if PDP wins Lagos, it cannot rule Lagos? Is he also saying that even if PDP loses Lagos and wins at the center, Lagos cannot be ruled to an extent from Abuja? The key word is 'winning', not 'ruling'. I am not a politician but I think the Oba should pray hard now because many Lagosians may be thinking differently. Kabiyesi o o. |
Holy catfish ! Blood of Elijah! What am I seeing? Prison should primarily be a place of reform where someone can become withdrawn, and do some introspection and change for the better thereafter. What I see in the picture is hell pit which provides no space for withdrawal or introspection. People are packed not like sardines but like corned beef. The environment will breed convicts filled with bile and venon for society and authority. No wonder ex cons are more viscious subsequent offenders than others. Better without such facility. |
[quote author=pharmguru post=28315602]just knowing that the patients still need to get their drugs from the pharmacists in the long run is enough satisfaction for me. as for encroaching on the field of doctors, that is your own fear voicing itself out. you are afraid that should pharmacists increase their clinical knowledge, they will encroach on your field. all the pharma cists are asking for is freedom to pursue their career to the peak like it is done in other sane countries worldwide where the real doctors exist. There are no personal issues between us. The pharacists of the sane countries you talk about do not import fake drugs into their system. There is no pharmacist that does not have a shop at bridge head Onitsha where even antibiotic capsules are sold in 'mudu' like garri. You people should address such issues before seeking to become doctors. No doctor wants to be a pharmacist. However clinical a pharmacist become, there is no place for him even as observer in core clinical places such as theater and delivery room. Become wise Sir. |
siraj1402:Muric counting too many decimals. During the colonial times when the so called Star of David was engraved boldly on the half penny, the penny, etc, did any moslem complain about Zionism in Nigeria. Since the time of Balewa when we had Islamic inscriptions everywhere including currency notes, how many times did CAN worry the Head of Government? Linking major National disaster of Islamic insurgency which has been with us for a long time to minor change in a currency note which is YET TO BE released is unpatriotic. Moreover the inscription still exists on other currency notes. I regret to say that the future of Nigeria is very ill at the moment. We may have to euthenize Nigeria. |
pharmguru:. Pharm guru, the truth is that ur strike is not effective. Even before the strike patients were used to buying most of their drugs outside. Now that doctor give them prescription sheet to source their drugs elsewhere - as usual, they see no difference, or need to complain. Your work in the healtj sector is to provide drugs and as long as you ignore that in order to encroach on field of doctors for ego and monetary reasons, so long will you suffer loss of job satisfaction. No amount of money paid you will make up for that loss. Mark it. |

NextIG:None of Chad's neighbors has known peace since Idris Derby. Check it out. That tiny God forsaken foxhole of a desert country. Since it is not an Ecowas nation, if we do anything there might be an escalation. Britain can help us here by working on her ally France within whose sphere of influence Chad lies. |
IGBOSON1:In 2014 trying to get in to share the money in Naira...in 1952 trying to get out after sharing the money in pounds and shillings. Sport the difference if you can. |
NairaMode:More people die as result of populace neglect by government and state officials than from doctors neglect. Check out accidents from bad roads, diseases from poor water supply, suffocation from genset fume, and death from insecurity such as armed robbery and insurgence -BH. His case is an exception, that is why it made news. Road accidents and cholera no longer make news. I am surprised that a former governor and senator who has always been in corridors of power in his attempt to rope in doctors indirectly spoke ill of his dead son who is also a doctor. Doctors of recent have become punch bags for every ill including STAGE 4 MALIGNANCY. May the gentle departed doctor pray for his living colleagues as he rests in peace free from castigation, Joasu et all. |
PentiumPro:You cannot see the hand writing on the wall? Seriously? Go get yourself a pair of good optical lenses (crystal ball or ouija board or Ifa beads )if you are one of those unable to see beyond their noses. |
His looks are different from his behavior though. He looks like a silly 70 year old who has been mad for 69 years while his behavior approimates that of a 10 year old imbecilic cretin! |
His shortened full names should sound Presidential, something like Pres Good Ebe Azik Jona. (covers face and runs into hiding near Sambisa forest). |
venivedivici:. It is wiser to start again frm scratch than to be slaughtered by those mindless murders. The entire Eastern region was rebuilt from scratch after the war BY THOSE WHO SURVIVED, so it is not impossible. Only those scared of starting again from scratch died dyring the pogrom. A word is enough for the wise. |
Ishilove:. My advice is that all non indigenes especially non muslims living in the NE who still value their lifes should leave immediately. The pretence is over now. That is all. |

[quote author=LordaGuru post=27753040]History: When Black Men Ruled the World It's quite unfortunate that, now, our own generation has been brainwashed to feel inferior to the people we once ruled and dominated. Ever since they succeeded in taking away the unity among the black race, they always succeed in puppetting us as they desire. Most Africans do not even know that we once ruled Europe. Little wonder some of our brainwashed people sold their birthright and now moronically copy virtually anything (good, bad and ugly) Westerners do. Read your history: Black Moors enslaved white Europeans long before the African slavery era. They also had also had white harems which pleasured them and enormous number of white slaves which served them at that time. Black Moors then civilized the white barbarians, graciously teaching the caucasoid cave-dwellers, Science an Arabic numerical system that is still being used now, algebra and beautiful architecture that was and still is superior to anything that these caucasion savages had previously built. Europeans and Generations of Spanish rulers have tried to expunge this era from the historical record, recent archeology and scholarship now shed fresh light on the Moors who flourished in Al-Andalus for more than 700 years – from 711 AD until 1492. The Moorish advances in mathematics, astronomy, art, and agriculture helped propel Europe out of the Dark Ages and into the Renaissance. Enormous large of blacks first invaded and settled down in Spain about 3,000 years ago after a devastating drought that the initial white European settlers found difficult to survive. After the drought era, the whites come back. The second major intrusion of an African Army into Spain before the Moors, occurs sometime around 700 B.C. during the period of the 25th Dynasty in Egypt, when the Ethiopian Taharka was a young general, but before he was succeeded to the throne by his uncle Shabataka. Finally, movement of Africans into Europe in significantly large numbers and into positions of real power, occurred during the invasion of Spain in 711 A.D. African Moors boldly invaded white caucasion Europe and conquered the portuguese, Spanish Italian and Southern French. The Moors then ruled Europe in great wealth, power, dominance, prosperity and authority. Right from 711, the Moors had dominant grip and authority on Europe, especially the area today known as Gibraltar, most of Spain and Portugal, and parts of Southern France from where they ruled and influenced other parts of Europe. There was also a Moorish presence in what is now Southern Italy, primarily in Sicily. They occupied Mazara on Sicily in 827[2] and in 1224 were expelled to the settlement of Lucera, which was destroyed in 1300. Author and historian Chancellor Williams said “the original Moors, like the original Egyptians, were black Africans.” The 16th century English playwright William Shakespeare used the word Moor as a synonym for African. His contemporary Christopher Marlowe also used African and Moor interchangeably. Arab writers further buttress the black identity of the Moors. The powerful Moorish Emperor Yusuf ben-Tachfin is described by an Arab chronicler as “a brown man with wooly hair.” Black soldiers, specifically identified as Moors, were actively recruited by Rome, and served in Britain, France, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Poland, and Romania. St. Maurice, patron saint of medieval Europe, was only one of many black soldiers and officers under the employ of the Roman Empire. The Moors brought enormous learning to Spain that over centuries would percolate through the rest of Europe. The intellectual achievements of the Moors in Spain had a lasting effect; education was universal in Moorish Spain, while in Christian Europe, 99 percent of the population was illiterate, and even kings could neither read nor write. At a time when Europe had only two universities, the Moors had seventeen, located in Almeria, Cordova, Granada, Juen, Malaga, Seville, and Toledo. In the 10th and 11th centuries, public libraries in Europe were non-existent, while Moorish Spain could boast of more than 70, including one in Cordova that housed hundreds of thousands of manuscripts. Universities in Paris and Oxford were established after visits by scholars to Moorish Spain. It was this system of education, taken to Europe by the Moors, that seeded the European Renaissance and brought the continent out of the 1,000 years of intellectual and physical gloom of the Middle Ages. I earnestly look forward to a united black race. Africa UNITE! http://atlantablackstar.com/2013/10/07/when-black-men-ruled-the-world-moors/ I getam before no be property. There is great need now for a Pan-African Renaissance to be pioneered by the elite and youth of the most populous black nation in the world. Before then, we must overcome tribalism and corruption in order to get the trust of others. It wont be easy though. |
All religions believe in life after life, in one form or the other and at one time or the other. So, what is new here? The mystical explanation is the ethereal energy of man which takes some time to dissipate after phyical death. Until it is fully dissipated, it may take forms to appear to loved ones. It is called Doppelganger phenomenom. . |
