By the way, I got married at 24 when my wife was 29 and we have been married for 22 years with a boy and girl both in Uni. As for me I won't marry a woman am nt older than by at least 5yrs. Women age faster coupled with child bearing effects on their body. At 33 After having 4 kids plus d fat her body will naturally accumulate she will b looking like ur mother in 10yrs time ie 43.

This is my opinion, d decision is urs to take after all some men prefer older women.

Biologically women are best before 28 to avoid child bearing issues bc their eggs r numbered.

Abuja – President Muhammadu Buhari and his wife, Aisha, on Friday in Abuja met with the mothers of the missing Chibok Girls to re assure them of the government’s determination to rescue the girls.

The meeting was at the instance of the wife of the President.

Addressing State House Correspondents after the meeting, the Wife of the Vice President, Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, said the meeting was a dream accomplished.
“Her Excellency, Hajia Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, has for very many months wanted to visit Chibok.

“She also wanted to meet with the mothers. So today we had an opportunity for them to meet face to face.

“We had two of the mothers who still had their daughters missing after a year.

“And Hajia being a mother, she met with them, she held them, they cried everybody cried; and whatever a mother would do is to say wait I want you to see your father and see what your father will do.

“So we are all extremely overwhelmed that at this time when the President is so busy doing so much he had time to meet with the women from Chibok.

“He spoke with them in English, spoke to them in Hausa and he explained to them how he keeps saying to everyone: put yourself in their place.

“So today we have had the opportunity for the President and Hajia to show that truly they are a father and a mother for the nation. And for that we are glad.’’

The Chibok girls were abducted from their school in Chibok, Borno, by the Boko Haram terrorists on April 14, 2014.

The abduction raised both local and international outrage and drew the attention of the international community to the bitter experiences of victims of the terrorist organization, Boko Haram

Ibadan—Oyo State Police Command has arrested a man who allegedly defiled his two under-aged biological daughters and two of his nieces, all between 14 and 17 years.

The crime was allegedly committed at Moniya in Akinyele Local Government Area of the state.

Though the suspect, a herbalist, denied the incest allegation, saying he was being held for a crime he did not commit, the confessions of the four girls took many people at the state police headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan by surprise as they narrated how the father had sex with them at different times.

While parading the suspect, identified as Tajudeen Awoniyi, Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Muhammed Katsina, said the accused person had carnal knowledge of his own daughters whenever he was drunk.

The commissioner alleged that the suspect would give black soap to the other two nieces before having sexual intercourse with them one after the other.

Nieces’ story
Speaking with newsmen yesterday, one of the victims (names withheld), said: “My sister and I are the nieces to Tajudeen Awoniyi.

“His daughters came to our house and asked us to follow them to their place. On getting there, her father told us he would give us soap by midnight which we must use to bathe.

“Around 1a.m., he woke me up, gave me a black soap and asked me to go and take my bath. After taking my bath, I went to him and he placed something under his tongue and asked me to sleep on a bench.

“He had sex with me. Afterwards, I was bleeding and he asked me to go to bed. By morning, he sent my sister and me out of his house.”

The sister, who is about 16 years old, corroborated the story, saying “after taking my bath at night, he tied my mouth with cloth so that people would not hear me when I cried.

“He had sex with me afterwards and by morning he sent me out of his house.”

He’s been sleeping with me since last year—Daughter

One of his daughters also said: “My father has been sleeping with me since last year. Whenever he comes home drunk, he sleeps with me and my sister (names withheld). He had slept with me three times now since last year.”

The suspect’s sister said: “When I came back from where I travelled to, I did not meet my daughters at home. So I asked the people around and I was told that my brother’s children came to my house and my daughters went out together with them.

“I said they could not have slept in my brother’s place because it has been a while I saw him. The next day as I was about to pray around 6:30a.m., my brother showed up.

“I was scared because I usually get scared when I see him since the day he threatened my mother with cutlass to release his children for him when they were still little.

“So he told me that my daughters slept in his place and he had asked them to go back the next day. It was not until the third day that I saw my daughters. Someone staying around brought them home.

“One of them was holding her tummy. I later took them to the hospital where we found out about the incident and I had to call the police.”

The victims, who dared their father and told the police the whole story, further explained that they kept sealed lips for fear of being beaten by the herbalist.

*i know of couples who started up like emeka nd cynthia.but it ended bad.

Let me ask some questions.

*how old was emeka when he met her?

*was cynthia desperate to get married b4 she met emeka?

*how long have they dated each other b4 deciding to settle down?


Let me also be quick to tell u dat women can be very secretive, a woman can hide her true identity for no matter how long it takes just to get what she wants, many of u can attest to that.

Forget the fact that they love money, money is just a lather to climb up to power.

A woman can do everything to achieve power over men,but the only thing that can restrict them is AGE.

Ever wonder how ur elder sister talks or behaves towards u? And how she talks and behaves towards that ur brother who is older than she is?

Well, consciously or unconsciously, that's who they are, some of them can't help it.
No matter who we are, we all tend to respect whoever that is older than we are, why is dat? It is because it is a moral inculcated in us by either our parents or the society right from when were small, and as the bible says for christians, "teach a child in the way he should go and when he I old, he will not depart from it". RESPECT for elders is paramount to us all both men and women.

Ever wondered why it is normal for a man to marry a woman he is older than? Even if it is just for a year?


Women have always want to be supreme both in marriages, but the only thing that restricts them is RESPECT for OLDER folks.

OP if you really love this woman better grab her fast whilst the offer last. You just listed the features of an ideal woman. There's no such thing as a perfect woman. Let that age be the imperfection in her which can be glossed over with your love. Age is just a number. Don't let societal criterion hinder you from being with your soulmate cos you might never come across such miracles again.

@OP; When a man finds a wife; it’s like he’s found a precious pearl or better still a precious diamond. You just described this lady as scoring 9 out of 10. To me, that lady is a precious diamond that should not be discarded based on her other qualities you also outlined.

I tell you a little story. I know of a woman who is about 10 years older than her husband and guess what; they have been married for more than 30 something years and still counting. They have children as well and some of their children are now married. Her husband saw a woman whom he could spend the rest of his life with and he did not let the age gap hinder him from marrying her.

I know in some cultures, it’ll be hard especially since the logic is usually the man being older than the woman. But sometimes when you follow this logic, and end up with a woman younger than you are, she might be one that would deal with you mercilessly through her character.

As long as she knows not to use the age gap to disrespect you and you in return not to use that as an obstacle to chastise or castigate her; then I don’t see why you want to throw this opportunity away simply because the society at large might frown at the age difference.

What I don’t understand is why you carried on with her when you were having this age difference problem at the back of your mind as something that might cause you some concern. If you are already having doubts due to the age difference; then PLEASE DO NOT WASTE HER TIME AS WELL AS YOUR TIME. You probably would need to find someone younger if you can’t put up with the fact that she is older than you.

I am about to reiterate the qualities you mentioned above regarding the lady in form of the questions below;

Is she caring?
Is she decent?
Is she hardworking?
Is she supportive?
Is she respectful?

Permit me to ask my own 3 questions below;

Is she a homely person whom you know can comfortable look after you and your home?
Does she love you?
Do you see her as a lady who wouldn't nag?

The decision is yours entirely whether to carry on with her or let her be. I’ll strongly advice you to think deeply before pulling the plug on the relationship. Also note that you might find someone younger but you probably might not find the 9 out of 10 mark which you are currently happy with but for the fact that she is older than you.

Also note that some women might not look their age and with advancement in having a good health routine she probably will age gracefully; hence, you might not need to worry too much about her looking older than you.

I came out with 3.10 CGPA. 0.4 dropped me from 2.1 to 2.2.
A computer course caused this for me. I did not study computer science or engineering in the University.

Imagine one young lecturer was teaching us computer back then, without even a single desktop computer.
And his style wasn't encouraging. I failed the course, carried it over, and managed to pass it when I passed it. You know what that means.

This is one of the issues. And one employer somewhere will asking me to provide 2.1, when actually I was even teaching and academically helping my fellow course-mates, assisting some of my lecturers to mark scripts, invigilate other students during exams, assisting some lecturers in writing text books and NGO research works etc. And somebody is telling me I don't have a 2.1 or 1st class.

Anyway, like I said, that' what Nigeria want. Some students did not graduate. They found their ways to NYSC, passed out, and are working and earning big money in some ministries and parastatals.

Ask them to go and get their certificates from their schools, they can't.
