Romance / Re: 'Why Ladies Should Stop Driving Men Away' - Nigerian Woman Says by Mbkite(m): 5:47pm On Jan 12, 2019
BecaciaBarbie:
I think this message should be, don't turn all men down as she didn't address the situation where a girl can be with a guy for so many years without the signs of any marriage proposal coming soon. If such relationship collapsed, that girl would have wasted her youthful life with the destiny waster of a dude lol is it her fault? She wasn't twisting her waist on the bed with different guys, she was a good girl but foolishly relied on just one man. So really, it is never always the faults of these ladies. I know many people with this exact situation which I believe is very common.

Ladies, pray against destiny wasters and do not turn all men down! You are single unless you are married.
you're smart. can we be friends?

Health / Re: Treat Hormonal Imbalance Before Marriage – Medical Practitioner Advises Women by Mbkite(m): 7:43am On Nov 25, 2018
Drksly:
Although I can't verify if the doctor said exactly what is being posted or the writer has added his own to make the story sweet. Truth is hormonal imbalance treatment is usually tailored to a particular need of the patient. And most treatment is aimed at either giving meds to stimulate ovulation or achieve menstruation in someone that's not menstruating, or if the person is lactating and not pregnant, drugs re given to stop it etc. There are some hormonal imbalances that cannot be treated until the couples wants children. So telling ladies to treat hormonal imbalances before marriage is shortsighted because most of the problems can only be managed on long term n not treated. And by the way there re many men too that can't get their wives pregnant. So it goes both ways. And one can still get pregnant with hormonal imbalances only that the chances are slim. Selah
please Dr. can you tell us the common symptoms of hormonal imbalance. can it be diagnosed at the hospital?

Health / Treat Hormonal Imbalance Before Marriage – Medical Practitioner Advises Women by Mbkite(m): 2:18pm On Nov 24, 2018
Dr Tosin Adewole, an Abuja-based medical practitioner, has advised women with hormonal imbalance to treat it before getting married.

Adewole gave the advice in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday in Abuja.
NAN reports that hormones are chemicals produced by glands in the endocrine system.

According to Adewole, hormonal imbalance occurs when there is too much or too little of a hormone in the bloodstream.

She explained out that because of its essential role in the body, even a slight hormonal imbalance could cause side effects throughout the body.

According to her, women with the hormonal imbalance can experience irregularity in their menstrual period.
The medical doctor identified unusual high stress, unhealthy diet, and diabetes and thyroid problems as some of the causes of hormonal imbalance.

She said: “Hormonal imbalance will cause your period to come heavier, lighter than normal or not come at all.
“This can affect your ovulation period and you can’t get pregnant if you don’t ovulate.

“At least, 25 per cent of women with fertility problems suffer from ovulation problems, though many may not know it until they cannot not conceive and consequently, seek treatment for infertility.”

Adewole said there were prescribed medications that could balance up hormone, stimulate ovulation and increase patient’s chances of getting pregnant, when ready.

Adewole stressed that it was better to treat the imbalance than wait until marriage and having difficulty to conceive.

IF any Nigerian Bank fails to return your money within 24 hours of a failed online transfer, they will be fined 10,000 naira. The money goes to YOU! ALL you need to do is report the issue to Central Bank (cpd@cbn.gov.ng) and they will surely take it up.

Romance / The Best Age To Get Married If You Want Your Marriage To Last Forever by Mbkite(m): 10:19pm On Aug 01, 2018
The Best Age To Get Married If You Want Your Marriage To Last Forever

A study has shown that the best age to get married is between the ages of 28 and 32 if you want a marriage that will last long.

The study suggested that those who get married between these years are less likely to split up, at least in the first five years. The researchers found that the odds of divorce decline as you grow from being a teenager to your early thirties.
However, after this point, the odds go back up again meaning that waiting to get married in your late thirties and early forties isn’t always a good idea.
After the age of 32, the chances that things will not work out begin to increase. And before the age of 28, the study shows that there’s a higher likelihood of divorce.
Waiting until you’re past your teenage years and early twenties means you will be old enough to figure out if you’re really in love with someone. Or you’re just blinded by hormones and attraction.

In addition, a person this age has probably made and stuck with choices and lifestyles that will last their lifetime. They also have a better sense of responsibility and may be in a great position financially.

However, waiting too long may mean that this person becomes so set in their ways. Therefore, they cannot make the little adjustments here and there that marriage often requires. So, the best age to get married is to find a happy medium.

Of course, these are just numbers and they do not account for a lot of things. It does not guarantee that being older or younger will lead you to have a less satisfactory union.
