9jafreak: ★Is there a way out?

1. The success of the Islamic Revolution of 1979, and the egregiously shameful neo-imperial circumstances that led to it, has taught Muslim 'minority' groups all around the world that
an indomitable power lies within Islam.
Those who criticize and condemn Political Islam therefore must also understand the imperial and quintessentially defectible human condition that contributed (and continues to contribute) to the relentless Chaos.

Please "Patience" people. The last thing we need is 'holy impatience' or counter zeal. The Muslim men, women and children murdered (and that may yet be murdered in reprisal attacks) have nothing to do with Fanatical theo-political Islam. They are our brothers and sisters and neighbours, One Nigeria or not!

2. Please also note that once this becomes a 'popular war' (as the Enemy would like it to be), the fanatical elite who inspire the carnage to facilicitate their unquenching thirst for total rule will receive the dubious legitimacy that currently evades them.
From that point, a New Awakening will dawn on the collective consciousness and the mythical golden state/British Experiment will cease to live in disguise, unless of course, 'Christian folly' has not yet peaked!

3. The President should repent, quit playing politics with people's lives and call for an urgent Sovereign National Conference. We are at war with ourselves. The Enemy has infiltrated long neglected hearts and minds and only by gaining overwhelming POPULAR SUPPORT can the Enemy be shamed, exposed and effectively alienated.

Nickydrake: For reasons unrelated to the peculiar situation obtainable in jos, i rarely patronise commercial motorcyclists. However, i'm not so sure the ban's such a good thing.

For one, while taxi fares are usually less expensive, the bikes are more readily available. Most students will tell you what a hard time they have walking from Abuja hostel to Naraguta gate when taxicabs are scarce, simply because the school barred bikes from coming into hostel premises.
Commercial motorcyclists, wherever they exist, are typically ubiquitous. Not to mention their size which helps them slip through hold ups. Very handy when you ain't got energy to burn, or when time is of the essence.

Motorcyclists are also about as much of a security risk as taxi drivers. In fact,
some of my friends argue that while it would be considerably easy to reach over and snap the neck of a would-be cutthroat motorcyclist, one would be well nigh cooked if trapped in a locked taxi with a murderous driver and conspiring passengers. Hehehe

Besides, hasn't this move been made once before? Why did it end in clumsy failure then? Is there a chance that those red-eyed ogogoro-guzzling malo mercenaries will meekly haul their butts to Chad to set up subsistent livestock farms with the money they've saved riding iron horses? I think not. After all, what have they got scimitars taped to the underside of their fuel tanks for?

Like the UJ admin, the plateau state government appears to have a knack for taking ill-advised decisions that achieve little more than introducing a new misery to an already disagreeable state of affairs.
hmmmmmmm! Well said! I cant begin to explain the seemingly endless leggedis journey i embarked upon like a sojourner ystday! Twas hell for me....i had to postpone alotta ma activities and reschedule cos it just hit me lyk crazy......

At d moment,im not in d hostel...i went home for a quick refreshment..lolz....i had to start lamenting when i heard about dis ish...how will i carry my 'army' of luggages and foodstuff? I havent yet recovered from the shock of motorcycles not going in2 d hostel cos i stay in abuja hostel, now this!

I have a spinal wahala which does not allow for strenous things...even fetching water in d hostel,i do it with serious caution...the doctor specifically told me not to walk long distances....me i be kpako ooo but given all dese health stuff,i had to heed his advice.its not lyk i dnt trek o but dis ban has worsened alot of things....just like u rightly pointed out, many things might not fall in place o...ther will be a burgeon in the social vices lyk stealing, kidnapping, violence, killings, name them....cos these guys have been taken back to d streets...

I can swear that all dese boko haramists***smiles*** will come searching for more 'soldiers'.....

All dese will fall on d deaf ears of jang....its a good idea...cnt totally ward it off but i was finkin he shud av restricted them to some places...tell me,how person wan take dey enter all dose lungu wey dey tudun wada, rukuba road, angwan rukuba,etc....i tire ooo.abegii mk i use dis opportunity make friends wey dey uj...holla pls...

cap28: nigerians love copying european fashion - but they forget that those clothes are designed by europeans for europeans with european body shape, take a look at all of the over weight women wearing clinging dresses that only accentuate their bulging stomachs and sagging arms and legs. If these women were to wear traditional african clothing they would look much more elegant as it would cover up all of the nasty flabby flesh on display here.

Please can we see more nigerian celebrities in elegant nigerian clothing, almost all of the women here look like mutton dressed as mutton.
but we sure can give it to omawunmi...she's very appreciative of d african fashion...anytym anyday!....lolz,sagging arms...
