Why did god not ask him to release all the criminals in the prison? I think this god is only for the corrupt politicians! Just as the same god supported genocides and vicious atrocities in the bible angry

when united win the league at a canter....it's because the league is shyte. when another team wins it, united are shyte!! why not give credits to what the lads have done so far?
i actually felt it was shyte last season too. this season, as much as 6 teams are worthy of relegation. the fact that Arsenal are still within a shout of Europe is shameful. Don't even get me started on Liverpool. However, we have been head and shoulder above the rest but i still feel the quality of the league has been poor for a few years.

Tuface is going from a defender of the masses to one of the partakers of the bazaar conducted by the barbarians in power exploiting and sharing our commonwealth with impunity.
Very soon, all those songs of his will stop making sense to the man on the street as by virtue of his marriage to this attention seeking LovePeddler, he would be one and the same with those being criticized.

Who is talking about the intelligence of the man here?
you were not present during the discussion, parties involved have aired their views and you try to explain the intentions of the politically compromised AG fromthe comfort of your room and laptop.
For your information the more grounded they are in the tenets of their profession, the more they exploit the system for personal and political gains. Even life is not sacrosanct to these barbarians.

I gave up on this contraption called Nigeria the day a serving Attorney General of the federation was killed in his bedroom and till this day the issue has died a natural death. The shock of the after events killed his wife one of the finest judges this nation produced. I just shook my head and gave up.
Oshiomole knows nothing will come out of it, he is just trying to satisfy his conscience that he did his best. Unfortunately most of those he is dealing with have no conscience. They've long sold theirs to Lucifer.

chamotex: First half (Nani) second half (Valencia). The difference was clear. Nuff said.

Rooney apart from the goal did zilch.
i have said it several times on this site, Valencia is the reason why Fergie is still contemplating Nani's contract saga.
infact Valencia's form is strengthening Nani's bargaining power.

that was a clear case of assault and battery.
Benitez outwitted Fergie in the 2nd half. Our midfield just collapsed completely. i doubt our pass completion rate in the 2nd half was up to 40%.

frosbel: There is no such thing as the spirit of liquor in the bible, if there is , please show me the chapter and verse.

There is no difference between a glutton and a drunkard, the key is moderation.

If you cannot control yourself , do not take alcohol. I personally take a little wine now and again, Timothy in the bible did for his stomach ailment.

As for storing liquor in the home, it is not recommended especially due to the children.

"Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand." - Philippians 4:5

As for immorality, of course, this is one of the most destructive sins and to endure in it without repentance is to risk eternal damnation.
balanced interpretation of scripture. God bless you.

Health, the cliché says, is wealth. But that’s an advice for the wise. For the greedy and short-sighted, reverse is the case; the overriding principle is wealth accumulation- sometimes primitive! It is no wonder, therefore, that many of the so-called rich and the highly placed, who desire endless accumulation at the expense of their health often die cheaply.

There have been stories about how some of them discover certain ailments late; many of such, terminal. But before they start to roll out their ‘hard earned’ fortune to rescue their health, money, at that point would have become helpless. And lo, they bid an untimely goodbye to their labour- sometimes left in the hands of total strangers.

Whoever loves the Enugu State Governor, Mr. Sullivan Chime, and has seen him of late should know that he is sick. From his recent pictures, especially the one taken when he paid a condolence visit to the family of the slain Kwara State Police Commissioner in Enugu, Mr. Chinwe Asadu, there is no doubting the fact that his health had deteriorated from the time he returned to the country after about 140 days for cancer treatment abroad.

Chime has come out to say he had cancer but that it had gone into remission after thorough treatment at a London hospital. To show that it was not a big deal, he claimed he was an outpatient for the period he was in London, meaning since he was not hospitalised, there was nothing to fret about.

But his swollen face, a couple of days ago, was worrisome if not scary. No wonder he declined picture-taking at an interview he granted select journalists when he newly returned to the country.

Chime needs not worry about what people may say and concentrate on his health. There is the feeling that his return to the country was borne out of political pressure. But as it is, there is nothing wrong if he steps down from office to take care of his health.

If he does not want to embrace that option, he still could approach his brothers at the legislature and ask for more time to go back for treatment. He just does not have to take a needless risk by feigning to be well. He should put his family first and consider what the implications would be for them if anything unexpected happens to him in the event that his health depreciates any further.

Chime does not have to approach this the Nigerian way. It is health matter. Instead, he can prove to be different by being honest with himself. If anything, the Chime that was seen a couple of days ago is still sick- very sick- and should go back for further checks, politics or not, until he is completely certified fit. Pray he gets round this phase as soon as possible. This is food for thought!

It was a very painful night but a few things stand out;

1. Fergie got his tactics spot on for the line up. We often believe the story that Fergie is not that much of a tactician but last night's line up was a masterclass. Of all the permutations that were bandies by internet warriors and studio pundits,no one came up with that line up and tactical set up.

2. The team played well until the unfortunate incident. Everyone bar RVP. He has been a bit off the pace in the last 2 weeks. The discipline of the players to effect the game plan was spot on.

3. Well done to Madrid. The better team does not always win, enjoy the victory.

AjanleKoko: Whatever planning that needs to be done will have to be done towards the next season. And there's an urgent need for a permanent replacement for Tito. The fact that he is receiving treatment at Sloan-Kettering gives a fair indication that his cancer is probably more serious than Barca is letting on. Better the man focuses his energy on surviving the disease than worrying about how to get Barca qualifying for the next round of UCL.
A lack of plan B in view of Tito's help smacks of arrogance on the part of the board. Seems they believed the childish hype that a team as good as Barca can even do without a manager. Cancer is not migraine for crying out loud.

Politics › Re: Good Governance Tour Ill-conceived – Fashola by mbulela: 5:56pm On Feb 27, 2013
mikeansy: I think your missing the point. Fashola was touring Lagos to inspect Projects executed by the State Government, Labaran Maku is not inspecting Projects executed by the Federal Government. In fact Labaran Maku does not have the legal right to assess State Governors. He Maku as information Minister has his own responsiblities which has not been fully completed and the last time I checked the remit of his office is not to be an ombudsman for State Governors.

Labaran Maku clearly mis-understands his job description and this is a clear example of a Government that lacks focus.

Its up to the citizens of the individual States to judge their Governors and reflect their will in the next election. If However there is a clear case of corruption by any State Governor then the Governor can be impeached by State House of Assembly or EFCC can move on him. I really dont know where this Good Governance Excersize was plucked from!!!
Son, take a bow.

We heard a telephone conversation he had with Admiral Aikhomu. We saw a video of the First Lady visiting the President in hospital. So much openness in a military dictatorship. Why do we suddenly have so much secrecy and lies in a democracyhuh
secrets, lies and rumours have been perfected to new heights as tools of governance. It is a sad but true fact.
The way those tools were implemented during SMYA's last days are the reasons why i'll never respect Segun Adeniyi again.
