albridge: When a mans trust in his wife is betrayed by her having affairs with other men and he caught her red handed with a man on top of her should he still stay married to her or divorce her? Is there a place for christian forgiveness in such a case?Lousy question. Should a wife forgive an adulterous wife? Who told you forgiveness has a gender? All these misogynistic topics are nauseating. |
AjanleKoko: Obama was angling for politics from Day 1. You think being the president of the Harvard Law Review was a coincidence? ![]() |
coogar: https://i.minus.com/izZ0BfmVkNlee.gifThe same youtube clips you post every time the error of your ways is shown to you. His entire career is summarized in this two clips? Are you kidding me? The baba wey do that medicine, i throw way hand for am. The medicine strong well well. Dem use this Anderson boy swear for you. |
The boy is probably British with Nigerian parents. If he won Nobel Peace prize will they claim he was British-Nigerian? |
coogar:The person wey do that Anderson curse for you, e no go better for am. Since he came to United, Anderson has never been anything spectacular. He has had a handful of good games but has never being the answer to our midfield problems and he will never be. |
elampiro: I don't see how Kagawa can ever command that role as we expect. He doesn't seem to have the energy to cope with EPL fast paced football. Those fast games against Totteham, Everton, West Ham require so much energy. The Bundesliga and Laliga gradual building of attack suits some players. Kagawa like JS Park lack height and weight which work against them.the way it worked against Fabregas and Modric and is presently working against Cortinho? |
dayokanu: Jurgen Klopp : “Shinji Kagawa is one of the best players in the world and he now plays 20 minutes at Manchester United – on the left wing! My heart breaks. Really, I have tears in my eyes. Central midfield is Shinji’s best role. He’s an offensive midfielder with one of the best noses for goal I ever saw.But for most Japanese people it means more to play for Man United than Dortmund. We cried for 20 minutes, in each others’ arms, when he left."I was about to post same. Although Klopp is giving to exaggeration almost all of the time,i still think he has a point that Shinji is a talent that must be used if we plan to excel especially in Europe. |
YorubaFirst: NL helpers! Are you seriousthen we also help those other three. Why should we get tired of helping? |
AjanleKoko: I don't know if we should classify this woman as poorShe needs contraceptives as a matter of urgency,in addition to the money she is begging for. |
Hadeyeancah: 24 security personnelNo, for he and her Excellency;the wife of the honourable speaker. |
Uju, are you knew to this game? No one wins an argument against Coogar. Festus Keyamo and Femi Falana ended as losers and so will you. The boy go give you headache o! |
lafflaff123: Just trying to IMAGINE what will make a MARRIEDWhat is so amazing? After all, men remove their boxers to sleep with females besides their wives. Why should it be any different with women? cheating is bad for both genders. If women can forgive, men should too.Forgiveness is not a feminine fruit of the Spirit. |
dayokanu: A man chats with females on his phone is equal to a nursing mother sleeping with another married man and jeopardizing not only her own marriage but another womans marriageDayo, you got the message wrong. The content of the chat na im be the crux of the matter. you no see where the woman describe the contents? besides married man wey dey chat with woman till 2am? na wa 4 am. *meanwhile i no believe the story. i have been around NL long enough to know that Nigerians are good story tellers. |
gbokukueba: @OP,I respect your opinion as an individual and this is not a cticism of your personal choice but i wonder why men often say this? men go outside and not only sleep with women other than their spouses but some even have children outside. Yet women are expected to forgive and help heal the marriage. Why can't same happen when the table is turned? Most of all, when the guilty party has retraced her steps. Why must forgiveness have a limit? Is that true forgiveness? Especially when repentance is present. If women can forgive men, so should men. This attitude that men cannot forgive cheating partners is misogyntic,to say the least. |
AjanleKoko: The club just need to do everything to keep CR7.He will stay. he will either leave in the last year when Real will be forced to sell out of fear or if they attempt to eye ball him, he will go on a free. two things are almost certain;he will not leave this summer and he will not sign a new contract. |
AjanleKoko: Essentially she's a guy now. Without them ballsdon't be so harsh on her. while i think she let fear get the better of her, i think seeing her mother and other ladies in her lineage suffer from that disease made her do it. I understand her worry. Been there. |
SOE with the governors still in office? This clueless man called GEJ just keeps pushing the bar lower and lower. How did this man attain a doctorate? Next thing he will set up committees to sort out the rift between governors and military administrators. What sort of SOE is this? He is just breeding more confusion and anarchy in the land. Even the bible tells us how God deals with lukewarm folks. We need to spew this man out of Aso Rock in 2015. He is neither hot nor cold. All his balls is reserved for fighting the likes of Amaechi. That is the only time when his tactical ingenuity comes alive. A president must not know it all and this one seems to know jack but what are his advisers doing? This sort of SOE portents confusion of all sorts. |
Ramcie: Must JONA always read every speech word for wordBecause he does not believe one word of what he is saying. |
These religious leaders make me ashamed to be a Christian. The governor himself is no better. It is not his bloody business who the people choose as his successor. if he finds anyone who he thinks is worthy, he should encourage same to buy a form and present himself before the people. In addition he should deep his hands into his pocket to support such a person. We do not care whether he has seen a worthy successor or not, the people will decide that. As for the charlatans calling themselves religious leaders, may God have mercy on your miserable souls. |

10 May 2013 • Police withdraw security from council chairman after interview * Court adjourns hearing on suit against Adoke, IG From Onwuka Nzeshi in Abuja and Ernest Chinwo in Port Harcourt There’s no end in sight to the crisis rocking the Rivers State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the Minister of State for Education, Nyesom Wike warned thursday that he would open up if those threatening to expose him dare talk. Wike’s threat came as the police in the state thursday withdrew all security personnel attached to the Chairman of Okirika Local Government Council in what was perceived to be a clampdown on supporters of the state governor, ChibuikeAmaechi. He was reacting to reports quoting Amaechi as stating that he would soon expose those fighting him. Addressing PDP stalwarts during the inauguration of committees at the party secretariat in Port Harcourt, Wike said those threatening to expose him were embarking on a fruitless journey as it was too late to do that. He said: “I heard some people are saying that they will talk and expose people fighting them; it is too late to expose people fighting them now. It is meaningless now. “I worked as Chief of Staff at the Government House and the documents are there for all to see. Let them carry the documents and go through them and do what they like with them. “The day they speak, I will speak too. It is not only one man that can speak. When you speak, others will also speak.” Wike, who was chief of staff to Amaechi in his first tenure, said politicians should not play politics of bitterness, adding that while the governor had received commendations for some achievements, such successes could not have come without the help and support of the people. He warned the executive of the party not to disrespect Amaechi as he remained the governor and leader of the party in the state. “By the constitution of the party, the state governor is the leader of the party in the state, so you must respect the governor and carry him along in everything you do. If not, you are not being fair,” Wike said. He spoke of the need to bring back all aggrieved members of the party who have abandoned the party, saying the more they are in the party, the merrier. “You cannot eat alone. When you eat alone, it is not always satisfying. The PDP is a big umbrella that can accommodate everybody. Everybody should be carried along,” he said. Earlier, the state chairman of the party, Felix Obuah, had inaugurated members of committees on discipline and investigations, reconciliation, thanksgiving and dedication, as well as performance and evaluation. Obuah said his executive was determined to rebuild the party and bring back all aggrieved members who had left the party’s fold from1999 to date. Meanwhile, the police have ordered the withdrawal of mobile policemen attached to the chairman of Okirika Local Government Council, Tamuno William, and those posted to the council secretariat. The incident followed an interview on Channels Television, in which the chairman, a supporter of Amaechi, spoke on the developments in the state. William said all the mobile policemen who had until yesterday morning provided security for the council and to him had been withdrawn without notice. He said he tried to find out who was behind their withdrawal but those he spoke to in the police hierarchy just told him “it was an order from above”. Efforts to get a response from the police on the development were unsuccessful. The new Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Angela Agabe (DSP), who resumed duty yesterday, said she was expecting details of what happened from the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Okrika. But the state’s Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mrs. IbimSemenitari, expressed surprise at the development. She said the incident created the impression that the police in the state might have been compromised. Also yesterday, the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt adjourned hearing in the suit brought against Inspector General of Police (IG) Mohammed Abubakar and Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Mohammed Adoke by the Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state, Mr. Chikaodi Dike. The Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) in-charge of Zone 6, Calabar, Rivers State Commissioner of Police, and Divisional Police Officer in-charge of Rumuodomaya Police Division were also joined in the suit. The court in its last sitting had summoned Adoke and Abubakar to appear before it to show cause why it should not grant an injunction restraining them from the continued closure of the council secretariat by policemen. But in an effort to resolve the political crisis in Rivers State, the House of Representatives mandated its Committees on Police Affairs, Justice and Human Rights to conduct an investigation into the remote and immediate causes of the siege on the Rivers State House of Assembly. It also urged the IG to ask his men and officers to withdraw from the premises of the state parliament and other places so occupied to ensure unhindered access for those whose responsibility it is to use those facilities. These decisions came same day the lawmakers condemned the clash between the police and members of the Ombatse group in Nasarawa, which resulted in the death of about 30 policemen. The House therefore resolved to send a delegation to Nasarawa State to condole the government and people of the state over the recent bloody clash. The lawmakers urged the federal and Nasarawa State governments to engage the different community groups in dialogue to ensure that peace was restored to the area. The resolution followed a motion of urgent public importance sponsored by Hon. Sokonte Davis (PDP/Rivers) on the alleged threat to democratic institutions in the state. Davis alleged that the Rivers State Police Command had resorted to subterfuge and intimidation of the state’s House of Assembly by occupying the complex, causing the legislators to adjourn indefinitely. He said there were reports that anarchy was looming at the state parliament and that the police were positioned to cash in on the crisis to cause mayhem and force a state of emergency on the state. According to Davis, the police took over the complex even when Amaechi did not request for their intervention. |
i am waiting to see who will be his assistant. that will say a lot about where he is headed. |
one of these days someone will give this Linda a good beating. |
go try ur father's dikc and see if it fits. Asssssssssole!!!!!
clap for yourself.no wonder you are an entrepreneur. you are obviously not matured enough to be employed by anyone, with that that kind of language. |
tell me it is not Moyes nor Maureen. |
maasoap: That guy called Seun is a fraudster as well. Once you registered, your are in for life. You cant change your username, you cant close your details. I anticipated that a long time ago. when i registered, i used an email address that was specifically made for Nairaland. As it is,i do not even remember the password to that account, so the day i no longer feel like logging in,that is the end of the relationship and that day is around the corner. I'll just come, read, laugh and move on. |
eyenCalabar: I think Seun should apology to us. He sounds insulting. There are ways one can actually commands you to do somethigng and you'll hearken with smiles and definitely NOT the way he's just imposing his own commands on us. Am dissapointed. For all his business acumen and all the success he has achieved through this site of his, i think he has severe challenges when communicating with people. I read through those silly rules and i realised i don't even talk to my maid like that. I agree that some members act childish but these rules are way too demeaning. |
okpara ugo: But soludo is a genius... Take it or leave it.genius my foot!! We are so impressed by the hype and subsequent mediocrity of these men and women. |
Genius100: You should still read the book. It really does give you a great insight into how things work in public administration in Nigeria. It's essentially the best non-fiction Nigerian book I've read.eish the way i hear he was dishing private conversations is just not good for my consumption. If all we discuss in private is revealed in public, wahala go dey. Do you know there are presidents and senators who have revealed in private that this Nigerian project is dead on arrival? Do you know there are health ministers who have revealed in private that Polio will never be eradicated in this country? What of Army chiefs who have confided in family members that God's intervention is what is what is saving us from being destroyed by foreign powers as they think our army is populated by beer guzzling pot bellied thieves masquerading as soldiers. terrible things have been said in private. i want to judge people by what they say in public and by their actions. Not intentions. After all, those are the counts on which GEJ et al have failed and Soludo failed too. |
REALITY101: How about you go fucck yourselfyou get high by using words online that you dare not use in real life. I know your kind. Go and do your home work. It will soon be bedtime. |
@OP, congrats on your job. Wishing you and your wife the very best of God. |

You all sound like the fact that you do a business of your own is guaranteed success. There loads of business people who are dying of hunger. Don't make it sound like being an employee is a sin. It is not. Yes having streams of income is a good thing but all this talk is not it. Just rejoice with the guy and move on. See your mouth like "and will not return there, evn for d president's salary" |
