RomanceRe: Ladies, Do You Sometimes Wish It's "Acceptable" To Ask A Guy Out? by mcameo: 2:42pm On Apr 09, 2015
@dovelike
But if am really really sure, am going to tell him.
I'll be like" hey man, Listen, I like you a lot, what are we going to do about it?"
Then my sleepless nights will be transferred to him. Hehehehe
This is just a 9ja and African "thing", what makes a guy the initiator, i need some history here, i need this proved, Female in Nigeria, just are not built to be relationship starter, and most often end up mostly with broken heart, now lets us take stock, what happens when guys make this move and the female turns them down, the Ladies would just say "such is Life", this is just being Hippocratic.

@dovelike, clever girl. So many female "die" in silence, life is about risk.
RomanceRe: Gay And Depressed. by mcameo: 12:01pm On Mar 29, 2015
Guys lets take this very serious, its not easy to "come out", ops, looks like you have to take this a day at a time, no rush, yes, do pray, but from your write up, it seems part of the problem, you did not mention if you are having issues with sexual emotions example premature erection or being impotent, and thinking that having gay tendencies as the result. Excuse my directness, you have to honest with this to fight it, go to God and definitely go for counseling, be good.

TravelRe: Funny Experience At The Us Embassy Lagos by mcameo: 10:45pm On Nov 05, 2014
Some years back, my elder brother and his friend went to the US embassy in Lagos, for their visa, they said they saw a man, dressed like a king / Eze, with two guys using the long feather fans to fan him outside the waiting room, as soon as the guy came out, he was refused the visa, immediately the two guys hander over the guys and just left. grin
PoliticsRe: 13 Igbos Murdered In Mubi Were Killed By Their Kinsmen, Not Boko Haram! by mcameo: 12:05pm On Jan 23, 2012
Guys, let us assume that the people in question are the BH guys, but also remember the greatest weapon a terrorist has is publicity / news, take that away and you would "disarm" them literally. The governor did the right thing by "side tracking" this fact, that is if he meant it.

Remember, an average terrorist deceives himself or herself that going into arms is an excuse of failing in a society, this could be liking to being a bully, lazy and weak but deceives himself that what he lacks in intelligent , he could make up in brute force (no offence to Muslims), take away the gun and bombs away from them and what do you get, empty heads with a serious defect in reasoning, this is just a physiological reasoning to the behavioural pattern of the lower class of terrorism reasoning.

Stop publicizing these guys and they would “blow” away, but also not forgetting arresting and rounding them up on a large scale by the government in state.
CelebritiesRe: Omotola's Husband Opens Up On Their Marriage Stability by mcameo: 4:35pm On Jun 27, 2011
It quite unfortunate for a grown a** man to come up and reply the press, if it's not true, why brother with an explanation, people would be people regardless, just for clarification, a Nigeria Yoruba programme in the UK, mentioned a while ago, that they split up, don't know whether it's true, just asking?. wink

PSALM 21. vs 1-7

THE KING SHALL JOY IN THY STRENGHT, O LORD; AND IN THY SALVATION HOW GREATLY SHALL HE REJOICE!

THOU HAST GIVEN HIM HIS HEARTS'S DESIRE, AND HAST NOT WITHHOLDEN THE REQUEST OF HIS LIPS. SE-LAH.

FOR THOU PREVENTEST HIM WITH THE BLESSING OF GOODNESS: THOU SETTEST A CROWN OF PURE GOLD ON HIS HEAD.

HE ASKED LIFE OF THEE, AND GAVEST IT HIM, EVEN LENGHT OF DAYS FOR EVER AND EVER.

HIS GLORY IS GREAT IN THY SALVATION: HONOUR AND MAJESTY HAST THOU LAID UPON HIM.
ComputersRe: Calling Systems Administrators - Our Own Thread? by mcameo: 11:45am On Jan 26, 2009
Hi Guys, great tread !!, i was previously with schlumberger and SNEPCO, but now i am based in Ireland.  I can see a lot of experience and intelligence on this tread, it's good to know that there are people out there who could hold up their piece of space wherever they might be and i hope more sysadmin from all over the world could log in and share their experiences.

I worked as a sysadmin for many years, i supported and maintained storage servers, such as Netapps, Sun, Linux, i also work with various Unix and Linux servers / workstations, backups where done by robotic libraries with Legato, Netvault and Veritas manager softwares.

But i  have to say the coolest stuff i ever did was the configuration and part installation of the 3D Visualization center in SNEPCO.

I have left sysadmin for some months now, but would love to share some experiences with you guys, for all its worth, well done to everyone on this tread. Once a sysadmin, always one. Take care.
