[quote author=MALIGNANTGuest post=118481484]Recently, My trip was further reinforced with remarkable & historic visit to the National Aquarium situated in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

This Magnificent Edifice houses a variety of sea animals in their enormous numbers. It was an awesome expedition and will remain engraved in my diaries of pursuit for nature and its beauty.

It is really an adorable sight to behold as we were entertained by different sea creatures ranging from unicellular to multicellular creatures, with each displaying unbelievable level of intelligence.
We appreciated camouflage in its entirety.
Here are some pictures to water your desire and appetite for natural and artificial ecosystem!

Jobs/Vacancies / I'm In Need Of A Job by McClinton: 2:23pm On Jan 15, 2022
Good day everyone. The reason for me here on the platform today is to inform you that I need a job. Please, am seriously begging. After paying my house rent this January, I will have nothing left with me. Other things priority expense to incur is my children school fees, electricity (10-11k per month), food items etc. I read, have good grades, qualifications, skills and experience but am unlucky getting a rewarding and career job with good pay and opportunities.
In the past till now, I earned below 50k and this can't sustain me not alone, my family considering the present standard of living in the country. I want to put a stop or better still, quit my present job as fear and intimidation is instill on us day by day in our work activities, abnormal salary payment despite working overtime/holidays, no commission structure, no room for improvement, management lies, manipulate and denies report on words said or communicated to us the staff thereby conflicting hatred between us and the vendor/agent who got us job. So, they dribble us. On one occasion, I complain about this, the management and agent said, the job isn't meant for me and I can't grow and people are quitting, so what am still waiting for, I was shocked.
I know, people would say, I should get a job before quitting but, my present job doesn't allow skipping work or taking permission. And if u would take a permission, u need to write a letter and must be approved. If not approved, you skipped work. U will be sacked. Working Monday to Sunday everyday 8am-6pm, the last Sunday of the month is your off day.
I will greatly appreciate if anyone or individuals can connect me with a job legally in Nigeria either state, federal, private/commercial and or international
I am setting standard for myself now, it might be a bit funny but, true. A good job with salary from 250k, 300k, 400k, 500k and upward. I will greatly appreciate your concern towards it. I know there are lot of people on this platform that has a great job, living comfortable life. Pls help me. Am at work today but my mind is shifted cos there's nothing left on me.
U can reach now on - 08026110754, also on WhatsApp. Thanks and God bless you

Career / Re: How I End Up Washing People's Poo As A Graduate With 2:1 by McClinton: 4:35pm On Jun 26, 2021
SpringofLife:
I don't know if this is the right place to post this but permit me to go ahead regardless.

How I end up washing people's poo as a graduate with 2:1.

Growing up, I used to admire graduates a lot especially the way they do things, conduct themselves and the rest. You see them living in a good house and in the morning, they dress up properly, go to work and return in the evening. Non-graduates of course used to jealous graduates a lot as it were. Fast forward to today, the table has sharply turned 360°. Now, graduates have not only been ridicule but reduced almost to nothing. Non-graduates who learnt one skill or the other are the ones kicking money bags to the bank.

Well, I finished university 3 years ago and couldn't find a job despite aggressive job hunting due to obvious reasons. Being the first in the family, the pressure was/is already much on me. The aged parents have tried within their powers thinking the best they could do for me was training me to acquire a university degree but in today's Nigeria, it's glaringly not enough.

Let me not bother you all with long story but I don't see myself continuing with this kind of life any longer because it's not what I envisaged.

According to the heading, I graduated with second class upper division which of course is a good grade considered very employable according to society standard and labour market. Despite this, I searched for job in every nook and cranny I could but to no avail. Everyday I have to eat food, rent expiring, bills piling up, parents looking up to me and younger ones who are already in school every now and then would call and ask for assistance and which I didn't have. Out of no option, I accepted an offer to work as a laundry man in a hotel for 15k/month. That's how I thought I have at least got something doing. Frankly speaking, I didn't have an in depth knowledge of the job description.

Obviously, this would be a long story but let try and shorten it. Do you know that I have drained so much from my body in the course of this work physically and health wise? Practically, I wash between15-25 bedsheets/duvets everyday as the hotel does not have washing machine....parked since it got spoilt. Consequently, my pams have developed thick skin which is now very tough, rough and scratchy.

However, the above might not just be my only anger. More annoying is that, some guests are so inhumane. Is it because you paid money to lodge in the place that's why you believe you have to do wickedness? Why I'm writing this is because of the very one that happened few days ago. Actually that wasn't the first time. It's been happening over and over before. Could you believe a guest used the hotel bedsheets and defecated on it, folded it and kept it and checked out. As a laundry man, of course it landed on me and I was the one who washed the poo off. Oh God! Like I said, that wasn't the first time although other ones only used the bedsheets to clean their buttocks (for whatever reasons because I believe tissue paper is always there) after defecating but this particular guest 'pooed' fully inside the bedsheets, folded it and dropped it for whoever to come carry it and wash. I'm not writing fiction here please. This is 100% real of what I'm going through in the supposed 15k/month job. How wicked? When toilet was there?

Moving forward, equally, I can't count the number of times I have washed menstrual blood from bedsheets. These men bring even women who are on menses to sleep with them and end up pouring menstrual blood all over the bedsheets and I would be the one to wash it. God why?

Most annoying of all is, the management pays salary on the 26th of the following month. How inhumane some people can be? In other words, I have to work 2 months to get 1 month salary or simply put, 15/2=7500. In reality, that is the salary I'm receiving as a graduate. When I picked up the job, my plan was to raise up to 50k within the shortest possible time and move to something else, but unfortunately, I don't even know what I'm doing now. I have been in the job for 6 months now with nothing to show for it. This is why I said I can't continue with the present condition. The situation is beyond the one people say 'hold unto it. At all at all, na him bad pass". This one is worst than "at all at all".

Before I end it, just a few questions. Dear Nigerians with good job, abeg where una dey see diz good job after graduation? Abeg where una dey see money do business after school? Where una dey see money chop food and live life? Me still dey very hungry as I'm typing this. Abeg na beg I beg una, make una put me on abeg. Make una be my God father/mother. I don taya for this life. I be una brother o. Help me and help the society by extension. Thank you.

Do you live in Lagos and which location

Career / How I Lost My Job by McClinton: 8:58am On Jan 28, 2021
Good afternoon nairalanders, I lost my job on Tuesday afternoon.
The Reason - I am sales/credit /loan agent. I worked In a company that is target driven. I am assigned to a store/outlet where I work regularly and makes sales. I am assigned to a supervisor who I report my sales to. I have allocated target I must make per day, weekly and monthly which I exceeds and has kept me on the job since 2019.
6 month ago, store/outlet I worked with begin to change its policy and it gradually affects my customer and my sales were dropping bit by bit which I Informed my company including my supervisor but nothing was done. In January 2021, the company change its policy finally that anyone that must patronize my business or bought an item from me must first buy there product, either by force or anyhow or I buy it for them. This kept customer from coming in, people don't like been forced to do things and even it's expensive in our store compare to outside e.g the least item they must buy is 1200 while outside is 300 naira. My sales began to drop drastically, target were hardly met. In order for me to stay on the job to feed my family, customer who objected the company's policy moved to our other store /outlet , so I followed them to make the bills and registration making the supervisor of that other store scorecard rise, incentives more and my targets more while my store is low and my supervisor store incentives will be low too because they make money from every bills and registration we make. Since all the stores profit are going to the company's account, the company never mind as long as am selling until last week my supervisor connived with some heads. They brought out my target scorecard, they found that 4 were done in my store while 10 were done outside my store giving other team/supervisor sales more than my store. Nevertheless, they knew, but my supervisor persist further on it. They advise me to go, that am sacked. It pains me, a shocked I never expect.
Now, during the course of my low sales. I made an alternative. I rented a shop for my wife. We are yet to set it up that I was sacked.
Please I need a job right now,
I have B. Sc, P.GD, Chartered with some other professional qualications and experiences

In such well established organization that can hire a man with B. Sc, P.GD, Chartered with other
professional; they will most definitely provide you with funds after being laid off.

Once this fund is paid to you, it's best you use it to set up your own retail or wholesale business.

Also based on your level of experience it won't be hard to get a better place to work soon. Came about a job opening, I will try and look for the thread and mention you on it. The vacancy is still very available although you didn't mention your state.
I will gladly appreciate the job post or link to get a job

Thanks for your response. Out of no job, I took up a Chinese work. They employ me inside a phone store where I do sell mobile loans to customers popularly called Easybuy - buying phones and paying in installment. It's a annual contract that you renew based on performance but not permanent job. Am living in Lagos and am open to work any location in or out of Lagos.

hmmmm

If the president is not dead, he should have spoken even the acclaimed clone buhari too should talk abi. It's now be rumoured about the existence of the president as none as been heared from him, wife, vice president etc

Politics / Enough Is Enough - Bad Government by McClinton: 3:12pm On Oct 21, 2020
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

It's a pity in a society like this where we have leaders. Our president has not come to address the nation, I will assume he is not dead even when he was acclaimed dead, the vice president is silent like say nothing dey happen. The evil men do will always hunt them, where are all our money the packed and looted.
Bad and poor hospitals
When they are sick, they will abandon their country Nigeria for medical treatment abroad, when they need medical check up or to take a rest, they will abandon luth, oauth, uch(ibadan), Abuja hospital etc. They will fly to USA, UK, Dubai etc, is it my parent that built Nigeria hospital, is it not from our parent's sweat and tax etc that the government built it, it means they built an unstandard hospital that lack equipment and improvement, no wonder they can't step there. Have u seen in any history, a prominent citizen is flown from either USA, UK, Koren, Germany to Nigeria, No. They shall all rest in peace next time they fly abroad for treatment.

POOR EDUCATION SYSTEM

They built all federal and state higher institutions of learning even the elementary school but they can't allow their children enroll their, why? All buhari's children, tinubu and other government officials from the legislative, lawmakers etc have all their children schooled abroad in best schools. Next time, they fly their, they will crash and die while others will survive. For those of them here in Nigeria using the certicate gotten abroad to intimidate us here for positions and seniority, they shall live an unpurposeful and Unfulfil life. Remember the school you go from primary school till tertiary institution, how many ambassador children or president/governor children sit with u. How many of them do u have on your friends list
Everytime ASUU, ASUP, Labour, TUC going into negotiation all the time. Can't they give them their offer since I was in primary school till now, ASUU has never break away or conquer their battle with federal govt but I know there is a backdoor to this and selfish interest as well. U know when the money given to them has expired for Dat duration, the strike spike on again. Sames goes to labour and TUC

BAD ROADS

If Abuja, ikoyi, lekki, were to be where u lived, would the road not be improved and graded with fine landscape.
I lived in an unorganized area where bikes, cars and truck fell down regularly like normal thing on motion due to bad road, potholes etc, Resulting in death of young men and women who have future plans. Money is allocated to roads regularly but it's been siphoned by high profile criminals we called high profile Nigerians. Does the road to your house the same way to a prominent lawmakers house, or Aso rock, maitama, or lekki etc. That is the difference between the poor and rich, the high and the low. A disparity to keep us apart from them.
Why are the so called politicians from our parents earning, my earnings, our taxes been used by these fascist elements to enrich their pockets and children. My parents no get Mansion for Abuja, South Africa, UK, USA, Dubai, etc yet they use my money, Nigerians money to buy houses, jets and wealth for oyinbo land. God punish them, the house will become haunted and danger to them.

The government who before election I can see one on one begging me for vote, telling me that he wants to serve the nation. The reverse is the case, we are serving them now. They are suppose to be placed on minimum wage. The made our parents go through enormous pains and hardship, everyday. We fight over increase in minimum range from #18000-#30000 with conditions. Is this a fair system of government. Can the governments accept a poor pay of 30000 like this as their salary . Let's rise and put a stop on this salary scale etc. A senator collecting 29million aside allowances, furnitures etc, and where as ordinary citizen is hearing not lessthan 30000 as state/federal job both of them are doing. We are agitating a total restructuring on salaries and wasteful expenditures

GOOD FATHERISM

God fatherism or na one oga for Abuja helped me, - - slot things

When I was serving in benue, a fellow corper of mine who got a job in NISTF after we finish service. When I called him for job and I went to his office, he gave me the number of the director who assisted him of the job in Abuja. When I called him, he ask of who gave me the number which I objected, then I called the guy and he said I should tell him. The man said the only way to help me is to disclose the name, I told him, he shouted and threaten to sacked him. After much plead from my family and the guy's family to plead with the director to save him the job. I deleted his contact and I stopped calling him. Enough of God fatherism, have you see cbn, ncc, firs, naicom, ndic, etc those juicy position and parastatals vacancy etc, No, you can't see their job vacany, it's internal recruiting through or referral from one minister, speaker, governor etc but if it's police(recruit) recruitment, army(recruit) recruitment, teachers where our young men and women will die, you will see it been published in all national dailies. Every thing in Nigeria for recruitment in both federal and state is slot and u pay heavily which may not even been guarantee

BORROWING ALL THE TIME

Is it a must say that the federal
/state government must keep on borrowing despite money in this country. We lived amidst plenty yet we borrow, its a shame on this nation, they keep on borrow on our behalf and without informing us making the so called white men, Chinese, Indians and Lebanese use us as slaves and inferior in our own country.
The sames money gotten will be looted and as well used in paying for so many of their salaries, trips, allowances etc. Why in a nation, despite so much free billions of money/funds given to by US, UK, WHO, Bill gates, Jack MA, etc without collecting. It's a shame that at 60, we can't boast of a single refinery, steel company (ajaokuta), electricity. Yet so many of our politicians have refineries in South Africa, UK, Portugal, USA, etc neglecting the country. They awarded their personal companies state and federal projects which akpabio talked about in nddc but he refuted it back after pressure from cabals.

UNRESLOVE AND FORGOTTEN CASES

Bola ige murder
Dele giwa murder
Fela, Abiola, abacha, dipo, funsho Williams etc are still part of Nigeria untold miseteries.
Adoke money laundering
Malabu oil deal(Paris fund which indicted most of cbn directors and deputies forex scam)
Nhis boss scandal
Ikoyi billions VS NIA
Denzel Allison scandal
Dansuki scandal
Former DG Nimasa boss
Nddc contact scam VS akpabio
P&ig and Nigeria scam contract
Clifford orji
Offa robbery suspect indicting saraki
Rev king
Evans
AGF and EFCC boss to mention few
The questions is where are all this loop-holes coming from and how did they cover it up.

INCREASE IN COMMODITIES

High prices of food items
Transport fares
Fuel price
Housing
Internet and data etc
E.g you are been paid 8k per month(Are u surprise, one of the toughest time of my life, when all were down, I did a salary work of 8k monthly for a short time till I got a better offer) or more, how would you survive all this hurdles in time when the economy is weak and has been frustrated by enemies of the country.

Police brutality

Police is my friend, bail is free- that was the police then, when our Parents were young but when we were growing, it change particular when Sars was introduced. Swapping innocent citizen For terror suspect, extra judicial killing of young boys and molesting and raping our young girls.
When I was young they majorly kill bus driver and conductor cos of #20 then, when the economy was better, later #50 and #100 or more at major Busstops and junctions. But the introduction of SARS, the special killer squad has killed a number of countless innocent youth in the name of crime such as yahoo Boys. Misplaced priority, rather killing them, while not hand over them to efcc, Icpc, those in charge of crimes and corrupt cases. Extortion, using weapon to intimidate and forcefully collecting of properties and belongings of victims, toturing and maiming people, chasing after boys. They display unprofessional conduct in their appearance such as dressing, hairlook such as dread, taking Marijuana, drugs, deviance to law, illegal checking of privacy and patrol , forcing victims and innocent citizen to transfer money to their account or take them to atm centres etc, can't they be decent. Most of the belongings in their houses or procession are sized items of convicted and unconvicted innocents. Despite advocating for a reform, they keep on deforming day by day and becoming the 2nd worsiest people in Nigeria. Police in international countries would interest you as an occupation in the Nigeria, 99.9% of the youth won't want to be a police officer cos of atrocities and ill-luck beckon on them, just that unemployment, job loss has forces people to do it and not for passion(except few).

When I was young, I sang this nursery song--Parent listen to your children, we are the leaders of tomorrow, try to pay our school fees and gives us a sound education.
Our parents have tried to gives us a sound education to their very best but we have been having challenges of becoming that tomorrow's leader. Tomorrow over tomorrow till the young child who sang the song would becomes old and wrinkles to grave. The old men then when I was young keep on recycling themselves and sometimes I keep on imagine if some people have already buy this country to impose president, governors, DG etc on us. For instance, you will hear this particular person is already impose on this position from jagaban or na tinubu boy boy while the former person also has his/her ally for that same position, That is when the battle of supremacy would exist. We all know what am saying e.g edo election, obaseki, Eze iyanmu and oshiomole, dapo abiodun, and amosun, sanwo olu and ambode, buhari etc, majorly from one man.
This is the right time now. My time is now, your time is now, our time is now, their(old men/women in agbada/iro) is up. This is the time for we the youth to say no to corruption, God fatherism, bribery, tribalism, money laundering, forging etc.

For peace to rain, government should reshuffle its cabinet and at least 4 youths under 40 years who are the children of nobody should be ministers, those over 70-80s years of age still government should please step down voluntarily at least to enjoy their old age with their families.

I pity the government of Nigeria, #the dead man alive# whom we called president have refused to speak to Nigeria - what a pity, useless country I find myself. A country where innocent people are been killed and tampering the cctv camera at lekki toll gate and as well denying it. U can imagine a peaceful protest turns sour when hoodlums hijacked the process and also when bullets are being fired to protesters. Shame nation, bad leaders eating the meat of the nation and dropping the bone to the masses. Enough is enough, if we can't speak and solve this now, it is the end. We can never again. Our parents were unable to do this then, more reason we the children are experiencing it, but if we fight it out, our children will leave a better life.
Let's listen to eedris abdulkareem- Jaga jaga
Africa China - inferno
Timaya-dem mama etc

So painful seeing people undergo enormous suffering. I despite what is going on now, the so-called president, his wife and vice president nor speaker have spoken. That Lie minister - Lai Mohammed hasn't spoken a word neither is adeshina. They are all preparing their refurbish speech later to feed the citizens later in the day. Just because their relatives have not been gunned for down or properties destroy. You shall all regret it. The army denied killing people, is it me or you that brought Armour tank, machine gun to kill harmless protesters, after destroying and carting away the camera to clean up evidence, you still switch of the light to plan it. Not knowing, that your back isn't cover(the soldiers) shooting at people. Sanwo olu, you a liar, nothing like this will come to your state/jurisdiction you won't know about. Just to cover up fact.

I discover the image below on my settings, i don't know if its the cause or not and if its the cause, what can i do to unrestrict it or activate the mobile data. I need a solution fast. Really affecting my work. Thanks
