360prince: CONTINUATION

We arrived home that blessed day by 5:00pm in the evening. Mrs Miss Grace moved to the door and knocked on it, while uduak stood behind her.
I stood far away in the compound watching what will happened next, should in case i needed to run. ßefore my mother opened the door, all the tenants, landlord, landlady and the boys and girls had already gathered looking at me with pity sign on their forehead.
My mother called mrs grace and uduak in.
They entered and my mum banged the door close. I guess she didnt see me when she locked the door.
As the door got fully closed and bolted from inside, i slowly walk(ed) away from the sight of gossips, as they [s]all rotate to fix their glittering eyes again to where i was approaching[/s] shifted their gaze towards my direction. I disappeared out of their sight as i got closer to my mother's door. I stretched my hands to push it opened but my mind troubled me. I had to wait in by the corridor. Later on, after they had greeted my mother, they started asking her questions. I heard them talking and i bent forward to place my right ear on the door to hear their conversation clearly.

"mummy, your prince was admitted in a hospital for almost 24hours. He had already fainted when uduak his friend rushed to inform me !" mrs grace informed my mother.

"ahh my pikin. Where is he?. I hope nothing bad happened to him?", my mother asked and started crying.

"mummy and you purposely beat him again after he escaped the dreadful shocking. It not fair mum ", mrs grace said.

"grace, it (was )not my fault. I got angry as he felled into my on my soup pot i had prepared wasting spent more than 10000naira to cook ", my mum said still crying.

"mum!!!, is that why you had to pound him ?", i guess mrs grace actually jumped up as she got baffled on what my mother mentioned.

" i wanted to apologies, but i couldn't see him return again, and i have been searching everywhere for him ", my mum said, as she used her palms to hit on her laps

"he was with me. We came here together, i guess he should be outside ", mrs grace told her

Before grace said what she had in mind, i heard a sound of fast movement steps heading towards the door. I wanted running , but a funny thought leaped to my head, as i quickly bolted the door from outside.
My mum unlocked the door from inside, as she tried opening, but to no avail. I had withdrawn away, backwardly from the door. My mother must have known that the door was looked by no one else but me, and she began to beg.

"my only pikin, my God given son, the might prince, my baby were i pours hot water for prick, i be your mama pls open dis door !", she teased..

"prince you wan lock up here with your mum ?" mrs grace shouted playfully from inside.

" no, i wan free unah. See, you guys are already locked. Ok ?", i teased jokingly to what mrs grace said.

" prince abeg forgive me. I know say i don wrong you. Pls pls kindly open this door for us ", my mother pleaded and i could hear d her cr(y) ied.

Mrs grace and uduak begged too. I felt unease tho, but my mind cant reject my mum just like that..
Tears fell down my eyes. I unlocked the door.
Immediately the door opened, my mother hugged me, as i didnt respond by hugging her.
My mother released me from her held and i walked quietly to where i can drink a cool cold water from one of the water cans.
After satisfying my thirstiness, i walk(ed) out on them, i reached to the door, opened it and banged it hard.


I left the room and i didnt returned back for mrs grace and uduak...
