I am just kind of curious. I want to invite a family of 7 for a wedding and i don't really know if a lot has changed. I know it's different DS 160 for each individual but someone told me there is a way of completing the DS in a family way. And also choose interview dates as a group so they all get to be together for the interview without getting separated. I just need a little bit of guidiance on this so I don't get to make mistakes. If you're coming on a student visa, you don't have to worry. no one will ask you that question. they stamp your passport at the POE and write D/S (meaning duration of status... as far as you remain in student status (and not fall out of status).. you're legal. even if you keep jumping from one degree to another and end up spending more years than expected, just make sure you keep your i-20 updated at all time to reflect your program completion date.

Next available dates APPEAR only when you click CANCEL and the first CANCEL you click doesn't cancel your appointment automatically, You still need to CONFIRM the CANCELLATION... BUT on the page where you CONFIRM the CANCELLATION is the same page where you see the next available date.. and if you're not OK with the next available date.. You could return without cancelling.

Try to reapply.. If i may ask... What brought about your intention to study in the US?.. You can't just say "since i have intentions of studying in the U.S".. if it's that easy then everyone's intention is also to study in U.S.

Better ways is to talk about the quality of the school, rank, Student:Faculty ratio and so on.

You really need resolve your Collegeboard issue.. But when the VO asked how come you applied to CSU cos they require SAT.. U should have told him collegeboard reported your score directly to CSU. I didn't sit for sat or toefl though but i think scores are always reported just like the GRE.

They are all good but don't ever mention to the VO that you applied to both Wichita State University and Kansas State University.. both are in the same state.. So kindly mention Cameron, Either WSU or KSU.. and one other school in a different state other than those.

Dear prospective students. If you have parents that you love don't make them spend money on inchoate schools. Look for good schools, study, write tests and get admission. The sky won't be your limit. Don't look for the easy way out.

I have no idea about GLOBE but for CMU.. Be it Central Michigan University or Carnegie Mellon University, Both are top National Universities.

Also, my course of choice is information technology, an agent told me that I could be denied because of my course, that IT is a known course and it can be study anywhere even in nigeria. That the consular may ask me to study in Nigeria no need to travel to u.s. could this be true??

I.T is a STEM course and it's a perfect hit for you. Defend your course. To be sincere, u could get a visa to go study Yoruba or Igbo in America if your reasons are good enough for the VO.
