Politics / Re: Buhari Calls For Inclusion Of Islamic Books In Federal School Curriculum by McKren(m): 11:16am On Aug 04, 2015 |
This is not Buhari speaking It is El-Rufai speaking please. I think this is another example of where devolution will help this country Under a devolved system of Government the North can have what they want in their own education curriculum while the South does what it likes in the South |

slowly but steady Buhari is trying to be the next Robert Mugabe Distributing very sectional loyalist to key positions. Before Nigerians realise it, it may be too late. This is not about PDP, it is about the future of democratic Nigeria |

udezue: The Igbos are a major group in the East and the largest in size and population. The best solution is to copy the Fulani way of treating its neighbors and burn down Bokiri if needed to teach those causing them such trouble not to mess with them. I'm sick and tired of it. I can understand if they are a minority in places like the North but not in PH where they are majority. Sometimes you have to get really nasty to gain respect and if they make Bokiri area and that market a war zone since the inhabitants have declared war on them I am sure they will be begging for peace. lol u may just have a point |
Politics / Re: Soludo Says Aganga Is Either Ignorant Or Lying by McKren(m): 3:20pm On Jan 31, 2011 |
blacksta: Is Ponzi somebody name? yes or no? In what country did the Ponzi scheme occur? Is the Federal Reserve Chairman of that country in Jail? yes or no? Or does the said country not qualify as your decent country with rule of law? This is why I say you guys just throw about diatribes you have no clue about. |

kenifeh: While your link proves that you responded at the time to "what you think" Soludo said. It does not actually prove that Soludo said what you think he said. Provide proof of where Soludo said Nigeria was insulated from the global crisis. |
Politics / Re: Soludo Says Aganga Is Either Ignorant Or Lying by McKren(m): 2:19pm On Jan 31, 2011 |
The problem is that a lot of you just throw diatribes based on half baked and un-informed conclusion!!! Sooth yourself and believe in whatever you like. Nigeria is certainly a great Nation for it. Now that the likes of Iweala have gone back to UN who is left to run Nigeria? Thugs!!! thugs and thugs!!!! Every country deserves the kind of leaders they get. |
Politics / Re: Soludo Says Aganga Is Either Ignorant Or Lying by McKren(m): 2:00pm On Jan 31, 2011 |
Gbawe Do you know who Soludo's likes are in serious Nations? Mervin King and Ben Bernanke. Are they in Jail? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are still heading their various reserve banks sorting out the problem. You guys can victimise Soludo all you like, but he still remains a Prince of Economics. It is not a crime to want to see your country and fatherland do well, keep faith in that dream no matter the amount of obstacles put in your way. Soludo has made 2 unsuccessful attempts into politics, those in my view are simply 2 self inflicted injury to our Nation's progress by the political class. Here is a man who goes to sleep everyday thinking only one thing, how to make the world around him a better place. And folks are here celebrating his shortcomings and enthroning medicrity. I sorry for Nigeria. |
Politics / Re: Soludo Berates Aganga (challenges Him To A Debate) by McKren(m): 1:01pm On Jan 31, 2011 |
As far as Economics go in this country, Soludo is an authority in that field. He has a right to air his views whether he is running for anything or not. You can call him agbero all you like but this is part of the problem. We want democracy but we don't want to hear varried opinions or ideas. shocking!!!! It does not take a rocket scientist to understand why our country has no hope |

Politics / Re: Atiku Says Violence May Be Inevitable by McKren(m): 7:31pm On Dec 15, 2010 |
@ Topic This was always the objective of zoning. To avoid post election violence and the threat of violence in Nigeria should not be taken for granted. Nobody wants a Rwanda situation in Nigeria. I believe that if power was zoned South and it was a Northern President trying to sit tight this same threat would have been made. Let PDP respect its zoning formula for the sake of peace. jason12345: You no be Itshekiri man again? |

Politics / Re: S’ East Govs, Others Dismiss Ekwueme’s Search For Atiku’s Running Mate by McKren(m): 8:10pm On Dec 14, 2010 |
chyz: And you think Jonathan is best placed to bring infrastrucure to Igboland? FYI Jonathan will not selectively develop SouthEast, he is President of Nigeria and whatever decisions he takes are subject to NASS approval. All I have seen Jonathan do is to undermine the interest of SE whenever our interest clash, but pretend to defend our interest on trivialities and as soon as Jonathan gets re-elected; forget the SouthEast because he simply does not need us anymore. And to be honest we don't need any President to do anything for us selctively because Nothing will be achieved like that. Such policies will not make it through NASS. We simply need a President who can develop Nigeria because when Nigeria develops, South East will developed. |
Politics / Re: S’ East Govs, Others Dismiss Ekwueme’s Search For Atiku’s Running Mate by McKren(m): 8:00pm On Dec 14, 2010 |
jason12345: why do you sound so worried If the Igbos are weak, then advantage whatever tribe you come from. So why are you drinking panadol for another man's sickness. Stop snooping around all threads about Ndigbo and trying to impose your ideas on others. If we are weak then please by all means allow us to wallow in our weakness. |
Politics / Re: S’ East Govs, Others Dismiss Ekwueme’s Search For Atiku’s Running Mate by McKren(m): 7:58pm On Dec 14, 2010 |
jason12345: This was someone claiming to be Itshekiri yesterday. How I choose to play my politics is not your business ok? Nigeria is a complex country where post election violence could lead to the Rwanda situation. There are more Igbos in other non-Igbo parts of Nigeria and we will bear most the brunt of post election violence which is why until we mature democractically as a Nation zoning will continue to play a crucial role. We were instrumental in crafting zoning and we will continue to honour our pledge ok? It is not weakness, it is called honour and respecting a gentleman aggreement. This is democracy and it is not down to you to tell members of other ethnic groups how they should play their politics. We have chosen what is best for us and if you don't like it go and hang yourself. |
Politics / Re: S’ East Govs, Others Dismiss Ekwueme’s Search For Atiku’s Running Mate by McKren(m): 7:51pm On Dec 14, 2010 |
If Buhari plotted coup because of Ekwueme, who was the Igbo man IBB was preventing from being President when he plotted his own coup? the 1980s and 90s was simply an era when Military coups were the order of the day in Africa and power drunk and indiscipline soldiers simply refused to conform to civilian control of the military in a democracy. So you people must stop coming up with all sorts of conjectures and state them as facts. |
Politics / Re: S’ East Govs, Others Dismiss Ekwueme’s Search For Atiku’s Running Mate by McKren(m): 7:46pm On Dec 14, 2010 |
T9ksy: Do you honestly believe there was some kind of conspiracy between Shagari and Buhari just so that Ekwueme will not be President? You guys need to grow up. We are no longer in the era of coups, to determine your choice of politics based on what happen at a time when the scenario was totally different is simply ridiculous. Do you honestly believe you have more right to be more angry than Ekwueme himself? do you think Ekwueme is stupid to stick to the zoning policy he helped sign? Most of you need to learn a lot in politics. The best thing for us is to stick to the PDP zoning formula. If Atiku becomes President PDP will certainly go from strength to strength and the worst thing we will do is to jettission the PDP zoning formula that we played crucial role in crafting. |
Politics / Re: S’ East Govs, Others Dismiss Ekwueme’s Search For Atiku’s Running Mate by McKren(m): 7:39pm On Dec 14, 2010 |
Chyz your talk about second fiddle don't make sense at all. What fiddle are you playing at the moment? you are neither first, nor second, nor 3rd, nor 4th. President is South South V. President North Senate President North Central Speaker SouthWest. Deputy Senate President SouthEast So when you talk crap about playing second fiddle remember that you are playing 5th fiddle at the moment. Ridiculous argument!!!!!!!!! There are over 300 ethnic groups in Nigeria and whether you like it or not there are times when you certainly will not produce the President of the country. There is nothing wrong about producing the Vice President and it does not mean playing second fiddle at all ok? |
Politics / Re: S’ East Govs, Others Dismiss Ekwueme’s Search For Atiku’s Running Mate by McKren(m): 7:28pm On Dec 14, 2010 |
Ibime: this is exactly what we are saying. Power can never be zoned from SS directly to SE in 2015. It will never happen and I personally will not support such a move because that is simply recipe for confusion. Under zoning power is moving between North and South. when it goes to North the geopolitical zones can take turns and when comes to South the geopolitical zones can also take turns. If Jonathan stays 2011 - 2015; the next President after Jonathan will surely be a Northerner. That is the fair thing to do and that will be the move of most politicins. I would have personally supported Jonathan even if it means SouthEast will take their turn in 2025; but the problem is Jonathan is a waste of everybody's time and hence no need to jettision PDP zoning for a vissionless man. |
