Politics / Re: Corruption: NLC To Support Buhari With Nationwide Rally September 10 by McKren(m): 3:40pm On Aug 26, 2015
This is the most abstract protest I have seen in my life? What exactly does protesting against corruption mean? who has ever publicly stated that they are in support of corruption and as such who is NLC protesting against?

I think NLC should rather protest against the Jumbo pays of the legislators then we will know that they mean business!!!

Protesting in support of the fight against corruption by the present administrtaion that is yet to achieve anything is for me political grandstanding by the NLC. This for me is very unfortunate!

Misplaced priorities

If the CAOS is on the front line who then is doing his job?

I know this is not true but the spin doctors in APC don't know when they shoot themselves in the foot!

You don't appoint a CAOS so that he can reduce his strategic role to that of a regular colonel

Politics / Re: So Soon? Is Onyeka Owenu Kneeling For President Buhari? by McKren(m): 6:55am On Aug 21, 2015
a lot of Nigerians are very uncivilised and childish!

Onyeka Onwenu is very right to accord courtesy to the office of the President.

No matter what anybody think of Buhari. Even if you dont respect the man you have to respect his office.

It is common diplomacy.

If I was a public figure. I will criticise Buhari publicly on Monday. IF he comes to my office or I go to his on Tuesday I will stand up and shake his hands with 2 hands and then go ahead to publicly criticise on Wednesday if need be.

All of you really need to grow up. Onyeka Onwenu is a matured and exposed woman who understands what courtesy and diplomacy means.

this whole talk about oh she wants contract, oh she is afraid of being arrested . . . . is just verry verry silly and exposes most Buhari supporters for the illiterates they are!
Politics / Re: Nigeria Earns N2.5trn From Petroleum Products Export In 3 Months by McKren(m): 10:18pm On Aug 19, 2015
Why not wait at the end of the financial year when all budget of this administration should have been implemented to judge

There is no point celebrating abstract figures that mean nothing to the common man when no roads have been built, no investment in electricity and the common is feeling nothing!

This figures can be dropped now and looted later. What difference does that make?

Politics / Re: Buhari Orders Probe On How ISIS Leader Got Nigerian Visa by McKren(m): 8:33am On Aug 19, 2015
Keep in mind Buhari recently withdrew all ambassadors

I will like to know who the most senior guy is at the embassy the visa was granted

There is more to this!

Few days after the Director, Media and Publicity of the Peoples Democratic Party’s Presidential Campaign Organization, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode alleged that the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari is getting campaign funds from Hamas, ISIS, ISIL and alQaeda, another controversial individual, Ely Calil, has been allegedly fingered as one of those hugely funding Buhari ahead of Saturday’s presidential election.

Buhari keeps fooling himself

I don't blame him cos he is getting away with it

But World leaders will not be fooled!

ISIS leader will not attempt to flee to Nigeria if he does not believe he will be protected!

I responded to your post because you did not consult with me before including me as part of your 'nobody'. I am a Nigerian, you know.

But you have not prove me wrong by demonstrating what you know about Buhari's economic policy

Until u do so and provide adequate references then you are like the rest of us who do not know what Buhari's economic policies are!

Buhari ran for president for 12years! You don't think it is troubling that you cant provide references to his economic views?

In no less than 500 words with diagrammatic representation, give evidential reasons why I must answer your dumb question?.

No answers! Once again!

So why did respond to my post when you can't defend your corner?

4years will soon pass and Nigeria will remain where it is if not move backwards! That's my unfortunate realist prediction. I make no appologies for seeing reality. The FASCISTS can call me pessimist if they like!

Buhari does not have the tools nor know how to govern. You can prove me wrong by answering my question and defend Buhari's economic views!

By nobody, I believe you mean just 'you'.

Please explain Buhari's economic and world views and categorise him in one of the spectrum of politics! I mean left, right or center and provide supporting evidence like speeches or past policies supporting your claims!

Please you references must be views directly expressed by Buhari and not surrogates.

Thank you.

Leadership integrity infects the followers like virus. Body language works like magic.

I did not know leadership and integrity can also generate electrical energy.

That is a very abstract propaganda that means nothing

Please give me examples of real steps Buhari took in terms of actions, policies or investment in energy facilities that have led to improved electricity

You guys are very very vague. You can't even back your messiah with facts.

As we speak Buhari does not have an energy policy nor an energy minister

Buhari is a very very corrupt man himself

A man who lied on his INEC form can not lecture anyone else about corruption
Politics / Re: Buhari Appoints PwC, KPMG To Audit NNPC, CBN, FIRS, Others by McKren(m): 3:23pm On Aug 14, 2015
Boss13:

Buhari met an empty treasury and need to ascertain what went wrong. I believe Nigerians are satisfied with anti-corruption crusade so far. Based on the president's stance on corruption, everybody is falling in line. People are scared to steal, people who have stolen are worried about themselves - they cannot even spend the money. These days, we don't see people flashing their wealth on the covers of newspapers so that EFCC will not remember you. Civil servants are more diligent with their work. NNPC is weeding out bad people and now wants to operate as a business. Electricity is fairly stable without any infuses of funds (I find this one strange. I called Eko Power Customer Care and complained and they restored back our light).

To me, Buhari must run for two terms. First term, get rid of corruption and corrupt people. Second term, implement strong economic programmes to elevate us to greater height. A fight on corruption is a fight against the wicked Elites taking this country backward. Lets not be myopic to term it a fight against some ethnic group.

Why not spend the second term recovering money looted in the first?

Abi you think say corruption will just disappear in the next 4 years?

Btw on the issue of stable power. Some people invested money in the gas turbine in the last few years and took real steps that are leading to improved electricity.

Your messiah did not declare let there be light and there was light! If this is what you are insinuating please check into the nearest psychiatry
Politics / Re: Buhari Appoints PwC, KPMG To Audit NNPC, CBN, FIRS, Others by McKren(m): 9:06am On Aug 14, 2015
At this rate they will soon appoint another set of auditors to audit the previous auditors!

Audit audit audit, will not generate electricity nor give students the promised free school meal!

I think all the noise about fighting corruption is just a diversionary tactics by a government that clearly has no clue how to solve Nigeria's problems!

Buhari should focus on job creation and let EFCC and police fight corruption!

Nigerians elected a president and not EFCC chairman!

For GOD sake, you campaigned for 12 years (consecutively). You saw the faults in obasanjo, late yaradua and goodluck jonathan's government, aren't you supposed to have insight by now? I mean, 12 years is more than enough to be used in drafting out, theories and policies. 12 years is more than enough to be able to have drafted QUALITY PLANS for Nigeria and Nigerians. Ah ahn! And to cap it all, you were a military head of state. Chaiiii!!! Na wa for una baba o. By now, we should be seeing serious results walahi. You were a HARSH CRITIC fa.

Cutting off imports does not automatically spur local production. We have tried this policy before!

There should be genuine incentives to encourage local production before we start cutting off import

Can I also add that the south east voted OBJ, Yar'adua and Jonathan. All in PDP

To suggest that that the support for Jonathan is purely due to tribalism and religion is not supported by the facts!
Politics / Re: 5 Reasons Why The SS And SE Voted In Mass For PDP (The Proudly 5%) by McKren(m): 6:24pm On Aug 08, 2015
People need to stop confusing their personal views or perception as representing the views of the general public without conducting an empirical research!

Please how did this OP come to his conclusion?

I personally did not support Buhari because I believed that going back in history to elect a former dictator does not represent progress no change and that a man who usurped democracy should not be rewarded with an election.

Also I did not support Buhari because to this day it is not clear what his economic view are or what his views are on education, foreign policy and social justice.

Well we heard he hates corruption but so does everyone else! But to date Buhari has not declared his asset, the case of him providing false declaration on his INEC form was never settled and he still surrounds himself with corrupt APC members who funded his election.

So am sorry Buhari and APC remains unpopular in South East for some important and genuine reasons!

People can choose to be called what they like

Politics / Re: Buahri Sets 6 Objectives For New NNPC Boss by McKren(m): 7:50am On Aug 05, 2015
The goals set here by Buhari once again reflects how small minded Buhari is.

Kachikwu is required to try to run a transparent NNPC but the fight against corruption and recovering stolen money shsould be left to the EFCC and Police.

Kachikwu should rather focus on making NNPC the world class business it should be rather than another Government parastatal. I look at Petrobas of Brazil, Saudi Aramco of Saudi Arabia, Gazprom of Russia or BP of United Kingdom and wonder why our own NNPC can not rob shoulder with thses outfits.

I am sure with the experience of Kachikwu from Exxon Mobil he has seen how a big multi-National oil company works. I hope he brings such organisational restructuring to NNPC.

Everything in life is not about refighting the fights of yesteryears. Buhari must learn this if he is to make progress.
