Politics / Re: Your’re Disloyal To Pdp, Jonathan Tells Atiku by McKren(m): 7:46pm On Nov 29, 2010
Astonishing!!!!!!!!!!

Has it been up to a week Ima Niboro released a statement saying that no one else speaks for Jonathan except Jonathan or Niboro? The statement read . . . ,

“The Office President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has noted with concern the continued attribution to the President by the media of statements neither made nor authorised by him.

”President Jonathan finds this practice very objectionable, especially as some of the statements so wrongly attributed to him are totally at variance with his views and beliefs on the conduct of political competition.

“The President is a firm believer in issues-based politics and totally dissociates himself and his office from some of the rather objectionable, hurtful, spiteful and divisive statements against other candidates which have been erroneously attributed to him recently.

“He therefore requests the media to call a halt to this practice immediately and only attribute to him henceforth statements made directly by him or his official spokesperson – his Special Adviser (Media & Publicity), Mr. Ima Niboro.

http://www.worldstagegroup.com/worldstage/index.php?&id=1341&active=news

The Statement about we too dey laugh who made it? Was it directly made by Atiku? why is the President attributing to Atiku statements made by others when he does not want the same?

The hypocrisy continues. . . . . . . . . .

Sagamite:

Do you have a brain?

If you do, do you use it?

If you do use your brain, how did your brain tell you that it is Jonathan or even a Nigerian parastatal that is running the investigation?

If your brain is telling you that UK SFO is a Nigerian parastatal, then can you suggest what we should do to your brain before I make my own suggestion.

You are the one who actually need to use your brain. Because you have no clue what intel links the FG has and how they can deploy it to clandestine motives if they want. They can pass dodgy infos to interpol to action an investigation that will eventually lead to no where. But what will happen is instead of the accused pursuing his political ambition he will spend that time fighting a court case.

And this is a diservice to this Nation. Instead of allowing all interested to tell Nigerians their programs and allowing the Nigerian people to choose from the best, they use these mechanisms to narrow the field to themselves alone.

You know the only ones not accused of corruption is the incumbent and those who cant defeat him.

This is simply unacceptable. This culture of fighting corruption only on the eve of elections is simply unacceptable.

Soludo is an A Class economist who did nothing but seeks ways to mordernise Banking in Nigeria. Jonathan and the FG should leave him alone!!!

Or do you not find it curious that on the same week Atiku emerged as concensus candidate and it turned out that he may choose Soludo as running mate all of a sudden the Americans are investigating Atiku and the British are investigating Soludo.

Jonathan should leave all this mudslinging and tell us his prgrammes. Nigerians will appreciate that more, if this is how to fight corruption nobody wants their fight against corruption. It is a Criminal fight against corruption because it is simply a diservice to the electorate.

OAM4J:

Who cares?

And what has South-west got to do with this? Abeg free us jor!

The west is presently not interested in Atiku, Jonathan or who becomes whoever's running mate in PDP.

Presently, what is going on the West is 'OPERATION KICK OUT PDP FROM THE WEST' Which by the grace of God and the strong will of the S.W people, will be concluded by May 2011 when we'll finally kick out the last 2 PDP Nuisances in Ogun and Oyo. And after May 2011 we bigging the campaign for a True Federalism.

If the South-East want, they can keep 'dobale-ing' - (prostrating and bigging) the North to give them some federal carrot. The West want none of it and pls leave us out of your North behind licking.

Have your SouthWest party produced any President yet?

Was it not in the same PDP that OBJ emerged?

Did OBJ not postrate for Atiku in 2003?

Where is OBJ from and where is Atiku from?

While you speak figuratively about others postrating for others remember that your pepople have actually physically done so already.
Politics / Re: Nnamani, Soludo, Ekweremadu Favoured As Atikus's Running Mate by McKren(m): 8:50pm On Nov 28, 2010
Folks should stop making up accusations and trying to rewrite Soludo's records.

I have never seen one person who can boldly say that the Banking system Soludo left in 2008 is not far better than the Banking system he met in 2003.

Why is it so easy to distort the facts in Nigeria?
Politics / Re: Us: Atiku Abubakar In $40 Million Money-laundering by McKren(m): 8:36pm On Nov 28, 2010
They only fight corruption on the eve election.

We seen it all before.

It looks like the new strategy is to plant ridiculous claims about international investigation on persons running against Jonathan.

Why can't Jonathan Goodluck be a man and tell us his programs or defend his records than calling everyone else corrupt when the records show that even he Jonathan has been looting this Nation.

Was it for love of money Jonathan accepted VP in 2007? If that is the case then Jonathan started loving money 4years ago.

You can not bully others to support you. Your candidate is simply not a Presidential material.

He is a President by accident and that is the much he can ever be, he will never get elected because he has simply demonstrated that he is not up to the job. Donald Duke or Odein Ajumogobia as President and the story would have been different. Jonathan simply has not got it.
Politics / Re: Prospective VP: Atiku Loves The SE Or Merely Pitching The SE Against The SS? by McKren(m): 8:23pm On Nov 28, 2010
all those who want to make a lot of noise about first fiddle and second fiddle should tell us what fiddle Jonathan Goodluck was playing when he accepted to be VP to Yar'adua while the likes of Sam Egwu and Rochas Okorocha were running for President?

Some of us were not actually born yesterday you know?

There is a rotation policy in PDP and Ndigbo should be proud to accept a VP position under Atiku and help defeat Jonathan.

Jonathan is a clueless leader and his continued 4years in office is of no use to even the Ijaws let alone the rest of Nigeria.

We need seasoned politicians not neophytes.
Soludo will be ripe in some 10 years.
He needs to learn the ropes first.

He would make a good president.
Let him go and settle his peppersoup joint family squabbles with Dora Akunyili first.

Ken Nnamani is the man. He will make a good President too for Nigeria.

Anyone that has dealt with OBJ and survived is my choice anyday.

That is a very simplistic way to choose a leader.

Nnamani may have held a political office while Soludo is yet to. But trust me Soludo is the better politician.

Do not judge mastery of politics on who wins and who does not. Ken Nnamani in Soludo's situation would not even would have been able to upstage the Uba brothers let alone running against Obi.

igbobuigbo:

I agree with you. Plus the little matter of vendetta that Soludo must have against Jonathan for rubbishing his bank consolidation. In Nigeria, each group looks out for their own. If Atiku picks Soludo and guarantees 2015 for the Igbos, then I say go for it. Otherwise, it is Jonathan all the way, rather than the chameleon Ribadu, or the religious bigot Buhari. I dey sidon look because I am getting confuser and confuser

Believe it or not, Soludo's grouse with Jonathan is deeper than that.

Soludo did not loose Anambra elections just like that. The same reason that brought Ogbulafor down also stopped Soludo in Anambra. and it is Jonathan's ambition.

This is what Jonathan has been doing to Ndigbo. If he thinks you will be an obstacle to his ambition he brings you down even though all you were seeking at the time is to serve your own people.

Jonathan, Dora Akunyili and Peter Obi colluded in the Anambra election. Believe it or not.

If Jonathan was a presentable man like Odein Ajumogobia, then I will have no problem with that. But the Problem is he has no clue and does not know how to be president and yet he wants to force himself on the Nation.

Nigeria can not withstand another 4 years of poor leadership.

It is certainly Atiku/Soludo ticket.

Soludo is a level headed man who will help Atiku Govern effectively. It is not all about 2015

The next 4years also need a Government that works. This is what Soludo will bring to the table.

He is a natural reformist and architect of social re-engineering

I think you miss the whole political drama.

me too ' I DEY LAUGH'

Soludo is not heir apparent to anything in the South East. We all now know that majority of his so called banking reforms are 'IBRU AND BANK CEO'S ENRICHMENT PROGRAMM'

The SE knows that they will be commiting political suicide to allow any Northerner to be a the head of the ticket. Why not SOLUDO/ATIKU in 2011, why must indigbo wait until 2011. The closest an Igbo will get to Presidency for now is GEJ, and Ohanaze Indigbo knows that, and they have cast their net appopriately.

There will be magomago but GEJ in the end will muscle hmself in. If Obi can do that in Anambra with all the power of PDP and Soludo's CBN ill gotten money did not stop OBI then forget it ATIKU is toated, he is afterall a Northern consesus candidate.

You have no clue about SouthEast Politics.

And by the way we know about Soludo's recods. Any honest persons know the difference between the Banking system Soludo met and the Banking system Soludo left. Tell me Soludo did not leave the Banks and CBN far better than he met it and I will show you a liar.

On Anambra elections, do not believe everything you see on face value. There was a conspiracy to stop Soludo and that conspiracy was deep.
Jonathan Goodluck, Dora Akunyili and Peter Obi had common interest to stop Soludo. So Soludo had the Presidency against him especially a new acting President who believed that the only way to guarantee his political future was to undermine anyone who may become an obstacle even if it meant to the detrimeant of the people of Anambra and his party.
Dora Akunyili on her own had an ambition to takeover PDP machinery but unfortunately she does not have the personality to succeed politically.
Maurice Iwu on his own dislikes Soludo with a passion and the two Professors never agreed on anything.
Ojukwu on his own has no choice but to support his party and Peter Obi was doing relatively OK but certainly does not have what it takes to take Anambra to the next level.
Peter Obi on his part succeeded in using State media ABS to remind Anambra people the attrocities of PDP under Chris Uba. But unfortunately for Soludo even he had fought galantly to rid Anambra PDP of the Ubas, he was still purnished for the sins of PDP.

This is why Soludo in his concession speech decried what he described as conspiracy to stop Soludo by all means.

But all of this misfortune does not negate the fact that in the hearts of the Igbos Prof Chukwuma Soludo is a prince and trust me the inclusion of Soludo on Atiku's ticket will certainly better his fortune in the South East.

remember what we are talking about here is PDP primaries and an Anambra PDP under the leadership of Ekwueme and Soludo will certainly deliver Anambra to their ticket.

Ndigbo are not fools. We certainly know fools when we see one. Jonathan Goodluck does not have leadership qualities and on the 11th hour a lot of Igbos will see through this and change camps starting with the Imo State political establishment.

It is amazing that you are celebrating a situation where Jonathan muscles his way through. You guys don't support free and fair elections anymore? you don't support rule of law anymore? These are the same people not too long ago that were shouting rule of law and exposing the hypocrisy of the Yar'adua Government. All of a sudden because a Southerner is now President you all want to approve politics of anything goes.
Politics / Re: I Have Kept My Promise On The Minimum Wage - Gej by McKren(m): 8:40pm On Nov 27, 2010

He can only make that claim when the bill is passed and he signs it into law.

vigasimple:

It is clear that Atiku is your man fro the above analsysis, unfortunately, SOLUDO has no political machinery to deliver his own state and how can he be choosen as the number 2 man.

In my humble opinion, GEJ has locked all the South vote, and only need to pick some state in the North to offset Kwara, maybe kogi state that are supposseed to be in the North. Don't mind that some states are in ACN and APGA in the south, the will still likely vote GEJ in Presidential election.

ATIKU cannot win despite all his noise, ask OBJ why 'he dey laugh' grin grin grin

I think you are confusing PDP primaries with General Elections.

You have no clue what went on in Anambra State election so lets not go there.

The PDP delegates and machinery in Anambra are under the firm control of Ekwueme and Soludo and there is nothing Jonathan can do about that before PDP primaries.

Soludo lost election to a sitting incumbent Governor who had the capacity to rig himself for office extension (It is the old Nigerian story and says nothing new). It says nothing about Soludo's popularity in the South East and believe it or not Soludo is the crown prince of South East politics. Ekwueme is simply trying to pass the baton/torch light to him.

Jonathan will certainly fail becuase only a master of Politics can lock the votes of the South as you want to suggest. Folks in the South know that Jonathan is not brilliant enough for the office he occupies and we certainly need better. Atiku is surely better than Jonathan.

The wonderful economic team of the OBJ era was put together by Atiku, from El-Rufai to Ribadu to Okonjo-iweal to Soludo. Most of these people were sourced by Atiku and he was head of the economic team before he unfortunately engaged in his senseless fight with OBJ.

Jonathan is a disgrace to the office he occupies.
Politics / Re: 2011: Northern Governors plot against Atiku... by McKren(m): 4:31pm On Nov 27, 2010
Jonathan does not have the numbers to win this election. These States below are the only state Jonathan can be sure to win in PDP primaries.

Kaduna
Benue
Plateau
Abuja
Ogun
Oyo
Cross River
Akwa Ibom
Bayelsa
Rivers State
Edo
Delta
Abia
Enugu

Forget the noise by Murtala Nyako. Atiku will win Adamawa without Nyako's support. In the case of Bauchi, Isa Yuguda will delibrately support Jonathan and instruct the rest of the Political class in Bauchi to follow Atiku. Remember the deputy Governor and Lawmakers previously endorsed IBB.

The North East and North West are no go area for Jonathan believe it or not. Jonathan will not win higher share of delegates from Sokoto, Katsina, Zamfara, Kebbi, Kano. It will never happen.

In the North Central. When people make a lot of noise about North Centra and Middle belt, they forget that Babangida Aliyu's/IBB's Niger will never back Jonathan, they also forget that  Saraki's Kwara will never back Jonathan either, these men have firm control of their States.

Kogi and Nasrawa are not clear and Atiku is more likely to make inroads there.

In the SouthWest, Jonathan has Ogun State and Oyo States in the bag. The rest of South West where you have AC Governors is a free for all fight for PDP delegates and I don't see why Atiku will not get a good chunk of those delegates.

In the South South even though Tmipre Sylva and Amaechi are not truly loyal to Jonathan, the delegates may feel a duty to support Jonathan which is why I have given it to Jonathan, the full South South. But surely Atiku will pick some delegates from Delta and Edo States that will help the number stack up.

In South East, Jonathan can not win Anambra. It is pure and simple. In Imo Ohakim will certainly jump ship at the appointed time. I see Jonathan being sure of only Abia and Enugu from the South East, But Atiku will also pick up some delegates from Enugu. I believe Ebonyi will eventually follow the line of Anambra, the Anyim Pius Anyims of this world will be able to persuade the old and wise Governor Martins Elechi to follow an Atiku/Soludo ticket.

So Jonathan's numbers simply dont add up. So we are talking of only about 14 States of 36 in the bag for Jonathan, I don't know the basis of the over-confidence.

But I find it amazing that most Nigerians have made up their mind and accepted a potential rigging even before the eve of election.

Why are we spending N87b then? May be we should call off the election and let whoever we are expecting to win through rigging to carry on.

We just need to get our priorities right as a Nation. It is not compulsory to practice democracy. This business of spending billions on an election that we have already concluded means nothing does not make sense to me.

Nobody has the right to legislate who others can support. If you think IBB is not the right candidate, mobilise your folks to vote for your better candidate.

I personally do not like the idea of branding someone ememy of Nigeria because they have a view different from yours.

If Abacha wakes up from grave, chooses to contest and no court pronounces him disqualified, then nobody has the right to malign those who choose to support or vote for him. It is undemocratic to do so.

While we hope for the best for our country we need to understand the limits of our passion. Bullying others to subscribe to your views is unacceptable. Whether you think you are pursuing a righteous course or not.

Adedibu's family have every right to support IBB if they think he is the best Presidential candidate.
