chyz: Unfortunately if there is any thing we have learnt from the last 11 months of Jonathan it is that he will be a monumental failure of a leader. He is catastrophe waiting to happen and I certainly will not be part of that failure. Trust me the likes of Ekwueme and Ken Nnamani are not kids in politics. |

God bless Prof ABC Nwosu, when wise men who know what they are talking about speak; you see the difference. The last meeting by the SE Governors is a first step to an eventual and inevitable rollback of SE Governors for their support to Jonathan. The will soon realise that supporting Jonny Boy is a waste of our time. The guy is saying one thing in secret and doing something else. Jonathan is only interested in what is in it for Jonathan and he will do anything to achieve it. Atiku 2011. |
Politics / Re: S’ East Govs, Others Dismiss Ekwueme’s Search For Atiku’s Running Mate by McKren(m): 12:07am On Dec 14, 2010 |
Chyz What some of you need to realise is that if Ndigbo ever get to produce the President anyday, another ethnic group will have to produce the VP at that time. At the rate you guys keep demonising the idea of VP position; trust me there will be nobody ready to play second fiddle for you. And you know what happens at a time like that? You will be isolated like the arrogant fool you are. We are a country of 300 ethnic groups. Some are not even mentioned in the scheme of things. Jason is a Yoruba man who has already benefitted from zoning and will rather destroy it so that he can eat his cake and have it and you are accepting his bait. There is nothing wrong if Ndigbo play as you put it second fiddle on this occassion. When OBJ was President, the North played second fiddle, when Yar'adua was President the South South played second fiddle. So there is nothin wrong if we play second fiddle in 2011. It is the arrogance of people like you that has meant Ndigbo are simply outsiders in Nigerian politics. I have no interest taking political lectures from Jason because I recognise that no ethnic group alone can elect any President in Nigeria. So people need to form coalitions and reach concensus with others. Jason is simply not happy that two major ethnic groups Hausas and Igbos can ever reach a concensus. They used to abuse us for being unable to agree with others, now we are doing our best to aggree with others they want to turn arround and tell us we are playing second fiddle. It seems to me this group of people will criticise everything Ndigbo do. I will certainly not take political lectures from my adversaries, I don't know about you. |

Politics / Re: S’ East Govs, Others Dismiss Ekwueme’s Search For Atiku’s Running Mate by McKren(m): 8:35pm On Dec 13, 2010 |
jason12345: We are not bending for anyone, we are simply respecting the PDP zoning arrangement we helped craft. When the North produced VP under OBJ they were not fools. There is nothing wrong for SE to accept VP at a time power has been zoned to the North. It is called honouring an agreement. It is simply being reasonable, not being a fool or coward. The VP slot under Atiku is perfect for Ndigbo at this time. |
Politics / Re: S’ East Govs, Others Dismiss Ekwueme’s Search For Atiku’s Running Mate by McKren(m): 8:20pm On Dec 13, 2010 |
I have always said that at the appointed time SouthEast will jump ship and it will begin from Imo State. This news shows that this trend is begining to fall in place. Why did Ohakim of Imo excuse himself and was represented by his deputy? Why did Chime of Enugu do the same? The reason is simple, they have started their double moves and at the convention they will come out from their shell and truly represent the interest of SE and their personal ambition. Remember Chime and Ohakim fancy themselves as Presidential candidates from South East (while you may have doubts about these guys being President, their ambition will guide their politics at the PDP convention). Peter Obi is of no political value at PDP primaries, the Anambra PDP machinery is firmly under Ekwueme control. Martin Elechi of Enugu will at the appointed time jump ship and support the interest of the South East on this issue. The only Governor I see standing by Jonathan to the end is Governor Theodore Orji and this is for the simple reason that Orji Kalu is waiting in the wings to oust him and Governor Theodore will not want to play games with his support for Jonathan just because he needs to retain his own sit and he Theodore has no Presidential ambition whatsoever. So guys chill. The Atiku movement in on course in the South East. And let nobody under-estimate the importance of the VP slot. Remember that if Jonathan did not accept the VP slot in 2007, he will certainly not be President today. |

Kobojunkie: What you are saying is correct if the Army had the option to arrest him, but all indication show that there was a gun battle between the guy and the Army. It is fair to assume he was gunned down in the process. Now don't tell me the Army were wrong to defend themselves in the face of an open gun battle with this guy. |
Politics / Re: Osisikankwu,dead? by McKren(m): 10:16pm On Dec 12, 2010 |
if another comes up tomorrow you battle them, it is a battle of will and no serious society should give up hope to thieves. There is no need looking for all soughts of excuse to condone criminality. We should npt surrender to criminals. |
Politics / Re: Insecurity Will Kill Jonathan Goodluck by McKren(m): 9:26pm On Dec 12, 2010 |
If Jonathan likes let him change PDP Primaries to voice vote, he will still fail. If he like compress the congress to 1 minute, Jonathan will still loose. Talk about making up the rules as they go along and shifting the goal post during a match. Those who the gods want to kill they first make them mad. |
Politics / Re: Osisikankwu,dead? by McKren(m): 9:16pm On Dec 12, 2010 |
Osisikankwu is not the only person suffering bad leadership in Nigeria. Others are suffering too and have made other choices. A thief is a thief it is that simple, there is no excuse. A thief in America can claim that until America arrest Osama Bin Laden he has a right to steal or commit other crimes; a criminal in Britain may say until the Royal Family stops living off everyone elses taxes he wants to keep stealing. The world does not work like that. IBB failed as military dictator but he also left office 20years. This country has capacity to move on and this idea of blaming IBB or any past President for the life of a petty thief in Abia State is simply defeatist. We have current politicians failing us right now, do something about it if you don't like their service, vote them out of office in 2011. Let us stop taking excuses for common thieves. This is simply condoning criminality and a behaviour like that has no place in Igboland. Boys are doing well from buying and selling and driving good cars against all odds. So Osisikankwu and his type should go and look for something to do. He is not the only one feeling the impact of failure of govt. If he is not happy with Govt he should work to elect a new govt, no need to visit criminality on ordinary folks in the name of avenging the crimes of IBB. |
Politics / Re: Osisikankwu,dead? by McKren(m): 8:50pm On Dec 12, 2010 |
sochan: So should we allow Osisi to run haywire until you send IBB to jail? |
Politics / Re: Osisikankwu,dead? by McKren(m): 8:37pm On Dec 12, 2010 |
sochan: The difference is that the vices of Atiku, IBB, Orji as bad as it is people went about their private businesses and worked hard to put food on the tables of their families. Osisikankwu whatever he thinks he believes in prevented people from pursuing their private lives. This fool informs landlords in Aba when he is coming and demands any amount he likes, if they come to your house after collecting money they screw your wife. So it is very ridiculous to compare Osisi or any militant with corrupt politicians. While the activities of politicians may have contributed to this insecurity, condoning the likes of Osisi is simply sucidal to any society. he is a common criminal and must be treated as such. The landlords he was attacking in Aba made their money from their own sweat. Osisi can go to Govt house and attack Govt officials if thats his problem. anybody disturbing the peace of ordinary folks is a thief. |

Odunnu: Not yet mate!!! certainly not. I thought u were a pretty girl, just wanted another pretty friend. Not saying we must have an affair, just wanted a new chat friend who potentially could be a pretty girl "if the pics is yours thats all" The "I love u " in previous post is me kidding; it could be for real if given a chance though. But we certainly are not there yet. anyway, ignore me . . . .since u are not feeling me lol |
Politics / Re: Osisikankwu,dead? by McKren(m): 8:01pm On Dec 12, 2010 |
Odunnu: No where They should go and look for work. Everyone else is feeling the pain of poverty. Nobody should take laws into their hand. They should go and find something responsible doing. I have families in Aba who relocated because of these fools. If you are not happy with your Govt, help defeat them at the polls in the next election. These group of boys after engaging in criminality in the name of freedom fighting, when election comes they aid the very people they claim to be fighting against to rig election once again. |

~Bluetooth: You are the one with issues here. Your poor understanding of loyalty is the problem. What she demonstrated is loyalty to country. If Yar'adua is too ill to lead, then his VP should be acting President no matter who that VP is. Thats loyalty to country and not individuals and thats what matters. Dora did what was right. |
Politics / Re: Dora Akunyili Quits Jonathan's Team by McKren(m): 11:36am On Dec 11, 2010 |
Kobojunkie: I don't know any honest person who believes that Dora Akunyili was or is a great information minister. Her record as Info Minister is clearly poor. But what we reject is to sum up her records of public service into the last 24months. This is clearly dishonest because before Dora Akunyili the Info Minister, there was Dora Akunyili the Nafdac boss and in Nafdac she did very well. And this joins your history of anything SouthEast. You are never honest about anything from the SouthEast. You pour all kinds of slurs on anybody of SouthEast origin but never extend your hardline high standards to the Buhari's of this world who truncated democracy, never achieved much as head of state, looted the treasury as head of PTF, used the rest of PTF money for some minor projects in Katsina thats about it. Curiously you are calling for the old, coughing dictator to come back to power. Why are you not holding Buhari to the kind of standards you want to hold the likes of Akunyili and Soludo? The burden of prejudice and hate is on you, carry it in silence and stop spewing crap on the internet. You are clearly an ethnic bigot. |

Politics / Re: Dora Akunyili Quits Jonathan's Team by McKren(m): 10:34pm On Dec 10, 2010 |
Kobojunkie: If you honestly believe that Akunyili's record of service equates to just 24months, then I can clearly say you are living in denial. She was never going to do well as information minister, she simply is NOT the best at diplomatic speak. But when this Nation was on the brink, men failed to rise above fear and parochial interests' (BTW these wimpy men include Jonathan); one public servant rose to the occassion to challenge the status quo and this helped Nigeria do the right thing and an acting President was announced. That was a high point of Akunyili's career as information minister and it is one not to be taken for granted. Besides her record of service in NAFDAC is there for honest folks to see. |

Politics / Re: Nigeria Likely To Be Another Pakistan By 2035 – Wikileaks ! by McKren(m): 10:11pm On Dec 10, 2010 |
The mistake by these geeks and the founders of wikileaks is that their efforts is nothing but war against the internet itself. Governments around the world will now find e-mails and internet unsafe and this liberalism gone haywire by these wikileaks guys will simply drive Government Business information management system back into the stone age. |

Politics / Re: Dora Akunyili Quits Jonathan's Team by McKren(m): 9:55pm On Dec 10, 2010 |
This news is very believeable. No be today Jonathan sideline Akunyili. Given the fact that the Anambra PDP structure is firmly is Ekwueme/Soludo control, I don't see how Akunyili will get a PDP ticket when she openly worked against he own party in the last election and made sure Obi returned to office in collusion with Jonathan. Now Jonathan has dumped her and she can only find succour in her brother Peter Obi who I think will help her into Senate. So it could be true Akunyili will soon resign. |
Politics / Re: Threat Over Zoning: Pdp Makes U-turn, Plans To Send Emissaries To Ibb by McKren(m): 9:39pm On Dec 10, 2010 |
PDP is what it is because loads of people belong to it. If PDP alienates most of its mainstream politicians just because of one man's ambition, PDP will become a fringe party. It is as simple as that. This is politics 101. |
