Mr Man whether you like it or not you are a Nigerian, Simple. Be proud. I am sure you are one of those people that deny their parents because of poverty. The Germans after World War 2 didn't have anything thing to be proud of but there were. Today from rubble, Germany is the biggest economy in Europe. The Jews were ones slaves, yes there were our (Africans), There were ones subdued by Neb but then there were always proud to be a Jew. They were never ashamed of celebrating the Passover. Today, we see them as the most intelligent people in the world and the only race that as existed from time as we know it. So my Brother stop laughing and start doing something no matter how small. You can start by at least telling people there is hope
Well, what can i say other than that each one is equal to his opinions. Thanks for the counter-comments anyway!

Anytime i see people like you i weep for my country. Who cursed us to be this foolish, so Americans in 9ja aren't proud of being Americans?
Try to show respect to someone's comments even though this is a faceless forum. I didn't say anything that is oblivious to any Nigerian, or something stupid that should make you weep. If you understand what pride means, then you know that being proud of a rot is the highest display of foolery. How can you be proud of failure? What do you tell/do to a child that fails woefully in school? Pat him/her on the shoulder and say, "keep it up." I only stated the obvious, which is what you and i know. And if you take your time to read through the thoughts of the poster, you'd find out he was relating to some straight schools of thought as obtained outside the shores of nigeria by perspected nigerians. Is that not laughable?
PoliticsRe: Proud To Be 9ja by Mcleo007(m): 2:56pm On Jan 29, 2011
I dont know about y'all, but what is there to be proud of as a nigerian. If truly @poster, you're proud of naija, you wont be in the UK. Pls spare us that expression. You and i know better than to be consoling one another.

The world gets strange to us everyday. In the past, women wished they were men cos the ways of men then was glorious and honourable. These days, some men are trying to be like women;have juggs, pvssy, give men BJ,cat-walk,wear long hairs, wear bikinis on d beach, Its just weird. Check out Thailand,Malaysia,Italy,Brazil and USA as they have transsexuals littered everywhere. They even have beauty pageants (Miss Tiffany universal) where people who were born as men nw wear gowns to compete for a crown on d form of full feminity.

Funny how people mention Lagos as if when they released Olufunmi, they were in Idumota. Location is not a problem with a good distribution and management system. Asa does not live in Lagos but she still sells and attends shows. Styl Plus is like any other music group, it takes a lot of discipline for a group to be at the top except you are the Beetles or Rolling stones. At some point members can become divided based on their art direction, that I feel is the problem they have.
I quite agree with you on a fair note, but then, in an industry of this kind(music), peculiarity is not always the same. Success has no universal standard, and like i said in an earlier comment, the problem is duly on lack of investment and vision by the stake-holders in the business, which is why piracy can not be done away with. Location plays a great deal in business. You can't run a good farm (growing crops on commercial scale)business in a city like lagos, just like you can't launch an acting career in your village. You need to move to where things are happening and the people involved are concentrated. By that, you get a good understanding of how the game is officiated, and the opportunities get open for u to exploit. Eminem moved from Detroit to LA.

It isn't a surprise that the author is from Bayero University.

That place is a very fearful place to visit indeed, with streets named after Gaddafi and various other extreme leaders. Its inhabitants examine you in the scornful way they would a cockroach, because you simply do not belong; they view you as a scab on their desire for the stone age.

Its like Afghanistan, Yemen or Pakistan, all rolled up in a Nigerian university.
It only goes to show you how awful those people are. Their thought-system is out of this modern world, like they're living in the pre-historic time.

So power de sweet like dis?

So if these Northerners were Easterners who never tasted power for 40 years until Jonathan showed up, this country would have LONG disintegrated?

I hope our people are learning now!

Power MUST NEVER return to the North!
Nice comment you have their! THeir disdain for the south is their major undoing. POWER MUST NEVER RETURN TO THE NORTH!
PoliticsRe: Secession - Option B - Creation Of Southern Nigerian State by Mcleo007(m): 9:52pm On Jan 27, 2011
I believe the secession of a southern state of nigeria is possible, and is infact the prefered choice. Every points made in this thread have been awesome. I commend everyone's opinion. Of our 50yrs of history, the north has been the pull-back to our collective progress as a people. Agreed, there has always been frictions between igbos and yorubas, but that has never led to annihiliation,as we find among the northernerns. We've never heard of an igbo murdering a yoruba neither has a the latter done vice versa. The individual differences when aligned, can yield mutual growth.
PoliticsRe: The Break Of The Nation by Mcleo007(m): 8:37pm On Jan 27, 2011
I'm one person who believes the North has always been Nigeria's problem and not even corruption. Was it not in IBB's time that corruption got theorised and was even more at its prime? How can zoning be a way out to economic development in modern times? Where then do we place true federalism, that allows for anyone to vote and be voted for not minding the individual's regional, religious or ethnic divide. And if I may ask, when did PDP come up with its zoning policy? Was it before 1999, or after? This is because, our memories are still fresh to Atiku's disloyal attempt to vie for president in 2003. Same was IBB, Buhari and the others, meanwhile Obj was still eligible for a 2nd term.
Please, spare us this zoning or unity crap. Other zones are better off without the north. The most brilliant minds in the country's history are from the south, except Sanusi of recent. North my foot, bunch of retards!

P. U. M. B. A:
shocked For a woman with kids to have another man with kids as a husband and he a wife, automatically the kids are SIBLINGS. There's a blood tie, The parents. Tell your friend to back off cos he's fiddling with a curse from God!

He who has ears,
I understand your point, but let's see a situatn whe®eby, you(the guy) and your mum(who'se divorced or widowed) went out to watch a movie at the cinema. There, you met a man and his daughter sitting next to you. As the movie wears on,you guys got gisting and having some sort of fun. At the end, your mum exchanged nos with the man,and you too with the girl. As the weeks rode on,there was good communicatn and occassional meetings by all parties (your mum and the man,you and the girl). There would even be sometimes you'd see ur mum receiving some calls and is sounding very romantic;she could go inside the room to pick, and you be like who's this mystery caller. Sometimes also, you do the same. However, all those times neither you nor your mum knew who either of you was always on the phone with. Then, some months later, your mum tells you she's getting married and tells you who the man is. What happens in this case?
Moreso, like someone said,if they (mum and the man)have a child together;that child is the blood link to you(the guy) and the girl. It doesn't link you with the man, neither does it link the girl with your mother. Its like the theory of pollination. It only appears weird in the face of the society, but there is nothing intrinsically wrong with it.
RomanceRe: How To Know If A Woman Is Interested Or Just Being Nice by Mcleo007(m): 1:03pm On Jan 27, 2011
@poster, there is no telling if a woman is interested in u or she's just being nice. Play ur part, and watch her act out her own end of the script. Love is a game, don't forget that.
RomanceRe: Guys Who Still Carry Bags, Open Doors For Der Girls: Are Fools?true Or False? by Mcleo007(m): 12:54pm On Jan 27, 2011
@poster, there's nothing wrong with the act. Its actually a thing of the mind, and is between the man and his woman. The only thing i know could wear wrong is when the act is overdone or when the lady doesnt seem to appreciate it. Haha! Later, we will now be asked whether women who cook and serve food for their husbands are fools or useless. Abeg o!
RomanceHow Is It When One Dates His/her Foster Sibling? by Mcleo007(op): 12:43pm On Jan 27, 2011
Hey guys, was arguing with some friends yesterday on whether or not it is proper to bed one's foster sister (the daughter of ur mother's husband). A pal of mine is into a sizzling romance with his mother's step-daughter and wants to know if its proper. In my own opinion, there's nothing wrong with that, since there is no blood tie linking them. They both are a product of circumstance or events, as the case may be. Honest and incisive opinions would be valued here. Thanks!

RomanceRe: Magic Number Wants To Scatter My Runs?pls Help by Mcleo007(m): 12:38am On Jan 27, 2011
My advice, add your fiancee and tell the other girl you used up the magic number thing for ur mum( anybody else, just figure out someone). bUT then, like always advice, never get involved in more than 1 relationship at the same time. If you must, then ensure u clearly define the terms to the parties involved.

Whether we like or not, those guys are one of naija's all time finest. Their singing tempo, voice fusion and style will take the lead for them anytime, any day. I think to get back on track, and re-register their presence, they need to re-strategise and come up with a master plan that applies with the modern day naija music business. They still got game, and a tight one at that! cool cool cool cool Looking back at that soulful song "RUNAWAY". That song helped me win one chick that was proving hard to get back then.
RomanceRe: Guys by Mcleo007(m): 4:44pm On Jan 26, 2011
Date? Yes. Marriage? Never. Habits of that kind are very difficult to break away from, she'd be a bad influence on the kids. Marriage to someone like that might only be ok if we dont plan on having kids.
RomanceRe: I Luv My Frend, But Dis Is Beyond My Power. by Mcleo007(m): 3:13pm On Jan 26, 2011
@poster, i believe u'v had a thing for him all along, and it was what made it easy for u to give in to him that night. if that is the case, all u need do is tell your friend that  her disdain for the guy grew up an admiration in u for the guy, and that is it. She'd certainly feel bad about it, more so now that she seems to be deep unto the guy.  You alone can get yourself out of this mess. Be sure of who or what u want; the guy or your friend, the baby or ur long life friendship. Just take your time to think it through. I wish you all the best in your decision.
RomanceRe: Yoruba Girls by Mcleo007(m): 8:17am On Jan 26, 2011
This post is utter rubbish as the poster is only seeking an undue attention. Its good to note that every tribe has its own peculiarity which is made manifest by their world views. I schooled in the east as a yoruba guy,and if I'm to be silly,I'll say igbo girls are this or that. But, whatever I say would be subjective rather than objective. So,Mr. Pornodude, this post of urs is highly unfounded and tells very little of ur intergrity. You can do better than wearing up a tribal riff, cos I know of many igbo chicks who're extremely local and uncivilized. But then, its not in my place to bring up such disdain on a faceless forum like this.

well said!!!!

pls direct me to such establishment so i can check if what you are saying is true, as it definitely sound unreal. drugs as an entrance token?! everyone in the club on drugs?!
Haven't been to such myself, but its something we watch in the movies. Aside make-belief, those acts on screen depict few elements of reality as obtained in some western countries. A good example of such movies are vampire, rock band, psychic and paraplegic films.

@ poster,

YES you can!
Good girls like to dance and have fun as well.
I see you're one of 'em good girls that like clubbing, lol. Don't mind me dear. I understand what ur saying, but then like someone said earlier, it might depend on d intensity of the club in question. For instance,I doubt if u can find a good girl in a Metallic rock club where the gate pass is your reception of a high stolid club pill. With the pills, booze and "fun", I doubt if there will be any goodness left in the girl, even if she were a nun.
