This is a road being constructed by the ever hard working governor of Edo State here at iwehen street off wire road while the next street popularly known as Lagos street is also undergoing serious road rehabilitation . The people of Iwehen and Lagos street have suffered untold hardship for years and are very happy that it's their turn to enjoy the good work of governor Obaseki as he has been working on most road in Edo State. As you can see the road users are very impatient and refused to heed to the different signs showing that there is construction work going on but have rudely and wickedly continued to make use of the road even when the asphalt bis not dried and the work is still going on as at this time T.

Workers in the Federal Capital Territory have begged President Muhammadu Buhari to sign the minimum wage bill submitted to him by the National Assembly on March 27. Some of the workers, who spoke to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Abuja, expressed concern over the delay in signing the bill into law, adding that it was causing unnecessary anxiety. Mrs Kema Nwokedi, a civil servant based in Abuja, said the work of the tripartite committee should be completed by the president. She asked the President to sign the bill which was passed expeditiously by the two chambers of the national assembly to cushion the effect of the economic hardship on workers. Nwokedi called on Buhari to make the signing of the bill an Easter gift for Nigerian workers to make them happy. Mr Abdullahi Sani, a civil servant urged the President to assuage the feelings of Nigerian workers by signing the bill into law before May 1. Also, Mrs Dayo Adedayo of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, said that signing the bill immediately would go a long way to help the workers. Adedayo said that the delay was causing untold hardship as the current salaries workers received could no longer take care of their daily needs. (NAN) www.dailytrust.com.ng

Most of these girls know they have not been pregnant for years even when they do skin to skin and also when they don't use postinol. And these girls know that men now want their wife to get pregnant first before marriage to avoid story that touch. So they come up with this argument of no sex till after marriage when they know they have done countless number of abortion that might have damaged their womb, then they will be taking the man on a merry go round from hospital to native doctors ,to church etc. That's the primary reason if you ask me |
Refineries should start working then subsidy removal can come in. After all APC government increased fuel price and told us there is no more subsidy. Later we hear the government has been paying subsidy. What's the probability that the price will be increased and later in the year we hear that subsidy is still being paid. First of all let our refineries be working before removal of subsidy. |

Police station should have in-house mechanic workshop manned by police man maybe it will go a long way to help with cars and helux that governors and individuals donate. Have anyone noticed that all police stations don't fly the Nigerian flag. Guess they are ashamed of the flag or they can't maintain the flag. Just thinking |

DUE TO THE HEATWAVE AND HIGH TEMPERATURES CURRENTLY IN NIGERIA, SNAKES, ESPECIALLY COBRAS, SEEK REFUGE IN COOLER PLACES LIKE INSIDE HOMES. SAFETY TIPS 1. Avoid leaving windows open for too long. Cobras and Mambas can reach heights that are very high. 2. Avoid leaving your front doors open for fresh air in the evenings. These reptiles are absolutely STEALTHY (too quiet). You won't hear or see them go inside your house. 3 Before sitting under the tree that has that cooling shade, check the branches that there are no snakes lurking in the branches. 4. Check your bed and surrounding before you go to bed, cobras are notorious for hiding under the sheets. 5. Avoid the age old trend of liking to chill outside of the house, with mattresses and wrappers in the evening. Most reptiles are nocturnal (hunt at night and more effective) 6. Not only snakes might bite you, but also the age old human enemy; the centipede (Mosithaphala), which is fast and very venomous. 7. Clear bushes round your house. They attract rats and mice which are the favourite snacks of the most dangerous snake’s favorite meal. 8. Buy snake repellent powder and pour it round your yard. You will definitely decrease the chances of a snake ever visiting your home by 90%. Beware of confronting snakes that get into your homes. Some snakes can be killed easily, others like the black mamba are very cocky. If threatened, they will chase you at an alarming speed and give multiple bites while still on the chase; and bitten victims may not live to see the next forty minutes. So, just be very careful when trying to kill those snakes. Stay well and be safe. It's snake season. It's very hot and they are highly active and get agitated and angry very fast. Keep sharing as you may be saving lives. Vaginal birth after two c-sections is dangerous, gynaecologist advises Dr Emmanuel Anthony, an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with the Masaka Central Hospital, Karu, has advised women to avoid going through vaginal delivery after giving birth through caesarean section twice. He gave the advice in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Thursday in Abuja. Anthony noted that women who wished to try a vaginal birth after two c-sections were at greater risk of complications and are less likely to succeed. Anthony noted that women who wished to try a vaginal birth after two c-sections were at greater risk of complications and are less likely to succeed. He added that vaginal birth after two caesarean sections could lead to uterine rupture, a case where the uterus tears open along the scar line from a previous caesarean delivery. “A woman whose pelvic and opening is narrow or not well developed is very likely to give birth through caesarean section. “Most times, this pelvic and narrow opening could be inherited. “However, it is possible for her to give birth vaginally after two c-sections, but medically; we advise them against it as it could lead to heavy bleeding, infection and brain damage to the baby and possibly death,” he said. Anthony, however, added that it was possible for a woman who had undergone c-section once to give birth vaginally with her consequent pregnancies. He noted that it was possible if the reason for the first c-section was not repeated in the second pregnancy. “Every c-section procedure has a reason, which could be due to lack of enough rest on the mother. “Fetal distress could also be a reason, where there is no adequate supply of oxygen to the baby. “When a baby is too big or when the baby is in a breech position, a c-section is often the only option,” he said. Anthony, on the other hand, advised women to always attend ante-natal classes to ensure proper monitoring of their health and the baby throughout the period of their pregnancy. https://punchng.com/vaginal-birth-after-two-c-sections-is-dangerous-gynaecologist-advises/amp/ |

I remember some years back a friend of mine schooling at Ambrose Alli University let me understand that the state governor Lucky Igbinedion made arrangement with WAEC and the names of Ambrose Alli University students were displayed in the state owned news paper Observer and those whose names did not appear were told to go and clear any issues they have with WAEC before they can be readmitted. All am saying is that what stops INEC from doing the same before the election. |
